He said dealing with hecklers was one of his reasons for quitting, it takes a lot out of you to creatively shut hecklers down over and over again.
He was generally anxious with his audience. He also said that he really dislikes when the audience sings along, which is why in some live recordings he goes so faster than the recording.

From what I remember, videos of him dealing with hecklers got really popular, so he kept having more and more people show up to shows just to heckle him to see it happen live. He absolutely hated it because most of his shows are pretty carefully planned and it threw him off.
But at the same time Bo is so far ahead of things that we can't be certain that he didn't plan some of these heckles as part of the act.

The woman he's talking to when he says "I'm gonna heckle and 18 year old" turned out to be his aunt, I think. She apparently was very drunk. Poor Bo.

Bo said he hates people singing along with him because he’s not a musician, but a comedian. It used to bother him a lot and caused some of these interactions. He said he’s learned to deal with it, but still don’t like it.

Well he literally creates songs and uploads them in albums so of course his catchy song will get sung along, i get where hes coming from but hes not just a comedian hes an artist in every sense of the word.

@@CliffBeatsOfficial It's not you. It's whoever did the EQ for this video. The clips have such different audio levels that some of the clips are extremely loud and others are pretty quiet. You can tell it's an old school video where they didn't bother to try to balance the audio levels
when the guy said "if they're under 13 just do them in your head" he was referencing the song New Math by Bo Burnham.

I'm sure it frustrated Bo more than most comedians since his shows are carefully choreographed and depend on timing/lighting/sound fx and other transitions. It clearly got to him at times but I completely understand.
