For people commenting that the bride doesn't look happy.....this takes place at the end of the wedding, so it's at least eight hours after the celebration started. Everybody there, including the bride and groom, has been dancing all night already. The dance is part of the celebration, but it also has a religious purpose - you can hear the singer say that God will be dancing with them for this dance. There's a Jewish belief that people have a special connection to God on their wedding day - people will come to the bride and ask for her blessing or ask her to pray for them all evening. So while the couple dances, they focus on the requests they received throughout the wedding to kind of "share" the requests with God. There's plenty of joyful, exciting dances during a wedding, but this is different. If nothing else, it's the only time you will ever see a husband and wife dance together while holding hands in public.
Plus the couple may not know each other well. Most Hasidic marriages are arranged. There are a lot of emotions and anxiety involved on a wedding day. People are out of their comfort zone. Best wishes to the young couple as they embark on a life together as husband and wife. May they have a long and happy marriage together and lots of children.
Thank you for explanation- I also went back and viewed more of this wedding - I now have a better understanding of it - may have been something that wasn’t ideal for all of them but still a tradition . The rest of the videos that I have seen are amazing , and the love and happiness of this day is real ! Congratulations to you and your loved ones - and thank you for all of the input .
The bride does look happy, but it's a prayerful time. When he sat her down, he was so tender. Mazel tov
Mazel tov. THANKS for sharing beautiful footage of your wedding.
For real? The real Freida Vizel wished me Mazel tov? Its an honor, Rebetzin. Thank you so much. ❤️
I just posted this beautiful video to you, only to find you have already seen it! 😆🥰
I’m glad I’m not the only one who had a mitzvah tantz in English. 17 years ago a Syrian girl went hesitantly on a date with a hesitant (lol) chassidish guy and the rest is history…
Who was the English Badchen 17 years ago?
Dommage que je ne comprennent pas 😢
Ce chapeau doit être lourd 😊
Maybe someone Braun? Can’t really remember his name… he was very attentive , he called me the day before and asked about my family etc
How sweet! The groom is even singing softly to the bride. It is indeed a special moment. Joy is everywhere.
Very beautiful. Custom. Congratulations to both.
Życzę im od mojego Chrześcijańskiego Pana Jezusa wszystkiego najlepszego ♥️♥️♥️
This is fascinating. As a Christian I have never witnessed this before. Recently found out I have Jewish ancestors which I am very proud of. I definitely want to do more research in this area. Thank you for sharing such an important beautiful event. Stay safe folks.
This is a very beautiful highly emotional and very meaningful dance, held at the very end of the wedding. It is the only time the couple dances together. You heard the poet was singing a beautiful poem, and the couple started dancing towards the end of the poem, and then he continued singing.
Simcha mazel tov 🕎♥️
Mazel Tov!! Many many happy years together wished upon both of you

I never thought there was an “ultra-orthodox” group that allowed chatan and kallah to touch each other in front of the wedding guests. Interesting how customs vary.
מאז ומתמיד זה קורה במיוחד בחתונות של חסידים,זה מה שנקרא מצוה טאנץ ריקוד מצוה

So Beautiful 😍 but very unusual . The young new couple They don’t really hold Ea h other They suppose to have a black rope .
Thats for other men who dance to the bride. The groom holds her hands
I don’t think they look unhappy at all. They must be exhausted after an 8 hour wedding and I’m sure the anticipation of the wedding night must be on their minds as well.
НЕБЕСНОГО ПОКРОВА. вам . . . , ! ! ! . . . .....
Dónde están las mujeres?
Why do the bride and groom not dance in a happy joyful way? But yet the men do?
Because it's a very somber time. It's a time of prayer and a time when the bride, groom and guests all remember their loved ones who are no longer here, and a time for them to pray for a bright future together
The groom seems much older than the bride.
Why don't they dance with the bride?
why are they talking???
Vielleicht haben sie sich was zu sagen 😅was für eine Frage 🤦♀️
I cant lipread but Bride doesn't look very happy dancing
Il n' y a que les hommes qui dansent joyeux. Les femmes exclues. C'est triste.
Does he look to old for her
They look to be about the same age.
Почему на нём такая смешная шапка?
The hatan looks very happy but unfortunately the kallah does not. I hope she will be happy in her marruage בע"ה. Why isnt there a mehitzah so the kallah's friends and family can dance with her.
Very important le'sameyach the kallah!
You obviously don't know how Chasidish weddings work. After all the regular dancing & what goes on at every Orthodox wedding the Chasidim at the very end has special dances like this & Mitzvah Tantzes.
The groom is more comfortable dancing with other men than his wife. All religions are weird. I’m glad I’m an atheist.
Nope, nope
The bride seems embarrassed and unhappy . Why are only the men dancing ? Actually only 1 or 2 ladies smiled a little - the rest of the 15 or so ladies were solemn faced . Yet we see only men at the tables in the background . And then only men …. No women no children . Which religion is this ?
Quite honestly, they're not solumn so much as exhausted. This is probably about 3 am, after an entire evening of festivities - not even counting afternoon preps. Most of the kids are thankfully fast asleep
It’s a men’s world .
Its an emotional time, and late at night

הכלה לא נראית שמחה
Looks like some weak presentation out of L.A. or Teheran.
Povo infeliz. Não respeita o semelhante. Egoístas
Very angry weeding and a bride

This is the only time they hold hands in public.
