Funny. Just watched a video on Michael Goh's channel about light pollution which posed a question about how to kick start astro tourism in rural WA. I think it is going to be watching video series like this that do a lot for showing what is possible.
We're certainly trying to do our bit. Another approach is to hand out a few days of free accommodation as a prize in an astrophotography competition to encourage winners (Virat) and associated friend (me) to drive 1000s of km to use their prize 🤣
Very interesting and spectacular video Greg, congratulation for this effort. What about the Laowa AF10mm. lens, is it suitable for lanscape or for the stars.
@@massimobollini4622 the Laowa is definitely suitable for landscape - you just need to think about composition and have some foreground interest close to the camera for maximum impact. I'm also getting good results for astro - there is a little star distortion close to the edges but certainly not unmanageable
Great trip full of fantastic adventures with beautiful photos Greg and Virat. I'm waiting for the next episodes
Thanks Mario, working on part 2 now
looking forward to those videos Greg....the images look superb 👍
I'm looking forward to seeing them as well - I see lots of editing in my future 😅
Great video Greg! Loved the photos and the amazing out back composition…
Thanks Shishir, just a taste of what to expect over the next 4 videos 😊
