- Textile waste is real. Fast Fashion is the recent development producing large amounts of cheap clothing. It's easier than ever to purchase new pieces, wear them, and then purge them from your closet after a season.
A Beautiful Me is doing something about the textiles that would be found in landfills. Reclaim, upcycle and create new! This is your opportunity to purchase a handmade quilt made by Robin Yokom. Every heart strip was once a formal dress and, due to various reasons, could no longer be sold. Instead a beautiful lap quilt was made to one lucky silent auction bidder!
Will you invest and know this treasure has a life past greater than the one worn to a wedding or special dance.
