I use Jannissaries very often. They are the best tier 3 gun and their damage actually matches tier 4 guns. With how tier 3 units have low defenses and lower block and block recovery Jannies absolutely shred everything in defensive battles. I used to love the season 6 halberts- landschnecks or whatever but I am loving the regular halberts more and more.
I would point out also green spearman, great unit and low LS. but only if u got mastery on them
The shield spears?
Yeah! Shield spears are decent at holding their block, then when they're getting swarmed or, pressing 1 they 2 hand their spears and do a burst damage. I've killed heros with a well times 1 when they jump in to break form
Hi there man, just came back to the game and it seems much better, lots of new players, the new mastery systems are bringing back lots of old units to the meta! I think the game is coming back to life

Funny thing coffee, squires with the right docs kill guards. The diff between them is that guards are better in prolonged melee, and squires are shock troops.

Completely disagree, you might beat bad doctrined/no mastery prefecture guard with fully maxed squires but I have never once lost a 1v1 with fully maxed prefecture guard especially in blue tier - the guard beat most gold tier units when flanking, squires fold like paper
@@TSouthyS depends on the doc. I use squires with other players in assaults and cycle charge. Tend to use squires with flanking, but near other players or as a surprise.
@@CoffeeFuelledGaming i used Stellar Labor IV, crushing charge II, epic sword 1, advance guard IV, and duress ironsides for my docs.
Does support score means something now, I scored a 2k plus and was still on the bottom
you wearing shity troopers armour for the extra 32 LS. i dont bother in blue meta anymore i prefer to keep my longsword set on to have better stats as hero.i have been testing using the demense spearmen full mastery.. quite surprised at how much damage they can take as a unit..just tried your build but with LS doctrines on sons & featherbows.. 677 LS ....
Really wish people could stop promoting ranged unit, as match becoming toxin when you have 9 out of 15 standing behind, babysitting while watching the rest getting slaughtered in the front or in capture point… 😂

Problem is that Bot Players pick 2/3 Archer units and for the Team. And they dont know how to Play. Even in Blue …

Prefecture pikes í highly underrated. Their charge can 1 shot any heroes on their path
been happy not watching my units get decimated by veteran players MaA/ Iron Reapers. will swap out my archers for the Rattan Marksmen.
Is the new season worth grinding or should I go for units in previous seasons?
The slingers are fun but kinda meh the purp goofy spear jav cav was shit and the sunward phalax is a good unit gonna require some knowing what you can and cant beat with it granted i'm stuff some will change from the ptr but thats the jest avalon still very good to grind Qk beat sw
I can bet that Phalanx t5 is gonna be OP for long long time. when gold unlocks, Xuanji gonna do its sh*t , but having Phalanx is gonna keep in a very good spot

@@jasonaarninkhof871 Personally, i'm staying in this season and grind until i get phalanx simply becoz it looks like strong, cool & fun unit. I think it will stay strong for long & won't be nerfed to hell for many more seasons.
Blue slingers may not be used later on but the quests r pretty easy this time , u can get it fairly easy. The t4 horses however seem like they will OP so thats gud for u.
Now it depends on u whether u want this or other gud units coz there r Lancelots, madao, Xuanji, ,etc that u could target which r OP n fun too
Phalanx like others say are going to be overpowered indeed, the rest not so much.
I have just lost all motivation to play. There are so few active players and there are bots in most matches. This was my favorite game back in the day.
