I find it odd that you a transman would compete in the woman's division after 5 years of testosterone, those girls most likely gave it their all months leading up to that fight, and on your own words you after seven days of prep won gold. This is my thoughts, I am not trying to be unkind. I like you am AFAB and I could fight in the woman's division but I wouldn't because I am a man, I can bench more then I could as a girl, im slower but far stronger. If I am ignorant to any facts in your sport then I apologize in advance, I am not wanting to take anything away from you that you legitimately won
Hi no worries - I totally understand where you're coming from. I know I have an unfair advantage - even though I want to compete as a male my country does not let me. However Judo is a sport where size/strength male/female doesn't matter "as much" since the more technical or "smarter" you are the more advantage. I've seen many women beat men in this sport and obviously vice/versa but judo is more about breaking balance and using throwing/submitting to your advantage. BUT YES again purely strength wise I have a massive advantage. I have fought men and I have won my fair share both in height and weight differences and my own weight. Thank you for bringing this up - I really do get where you're coming from
