Margaret Lindsay was an American film actress. Her time as a Warner Bros. contract player during the 1930s was particularly productive in supporting roles.
I’m 60 and a classic movie fan. I’m only just discovering her-she was beautiful and projected sensitivity, class, humor and great intelligence on the screen. I never miss one of her films now. There was something very “modern” about her which took me in-and, that voice.☮️
Margaret Lindsay is one of my favorite stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood era. A timeless and classic beauty. My favorite movie of hers is “G-Men” 1935 with James Cagney and Ann Dvorak. I love the way she says “Chi-cau-go”. : )

She is my great aunt. I wish I had some of her talent.
Beautiful choice of music. Women of her era were not always depicted or allowed to be as beautiful as they really were.
