Nicely done. I have 2006 yamaha xvs1300a motorbike. It's got 104000klms. Still going strong. Very happy with bike as of course you are. Keep safe and stay well. Ben.
Thanks! Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Last time I checked I had about maybe 100views. To answer your question (if still needed) The fairing is Memphis shades Batwing with all the extras (chrome accent, side shields, leather bag, etc) which came with bike specific directions, no customization needed. The bags are Tsukayu, but they now have Tsukayo V Star 1300 bags that would probably look better, with a DMY trunk mounted on to the V Star 1300 quick disconect arms and luggage rack.....
Just purchased a 2007 V-Star 1300 a month ago. Definitely like and enjoy this bike. Could you please give a parts list for the cowling, bags, trunk and quick disconnect items needed? Love the work you did. Thank you.
bags are Bub Jug Huggers, no baffles. Yes, Cobra fi200r for fuel management. Bag are OK, work great, don't bounce too much, but stick out a lil far for my taiste, but that is also because I have the quick disconnect trunk mounts seperating them that much further. Overall they do the job, dont look too bad, and yeah, they bounce, but not too much.
Hi jack from spain, i have a xvs1300 midnight star and i looking for the quick disconnet like this, where you buy this sistem please, pardon for my english. Good job
......Fairing maybe $600, bags about $650, easy brackets about $150-$250 (I think) trunk about $150, Quick disconect arms and luggage rack was something like $400. So i gues somewhere around $2k total. (It's all off of the top of my head so they are very BALLPARK figures.
Thanks! No, sold the Apes that I had, never put them on. They required new cable for EVERYTHING and I figured that I would just buy the chrome or steel braded ones if I'm gonna spend ALL that money on new cables anyway, then, I just didn't want to spend all THAT money. Plus, i required new grips too. I sold them and am now going to buy Burly Bikini Bars. The bike is already a low profile bike (somewhat) and I think the beach bars (small ones) would sentuate that like a HD Fatboy or Road King.
i havent checked out the mounting system for the stock bags yet. when i did this, they didnt hVe the touribg model. however, im sure there's a way to mount yhe ez/ghost brackets on the stock bags. but if you do that, you would have to figure out how to make the front fairing quick disconect too.
All i wanna know is where u got the quick disconnect parts for the truck. Thats all i need n my bike is full dressed i like the bags on mine and the bat wing
No. Got this one on eBay. Just Google DMY motorcycle trunk. You'll find a1hardbags website first. This is where I found them first, but bought from eBay instead because it had a trunk liner, two cords to hold the open trunk, and wrap around backrest.
Bike looks and sounds great just bought a 1300 deluxe myself and i love your idea with the back trunk I could put it on when my wife ride with me and take it off when she's not do you think that would work for this bike
This is excellent dude! I've been looking for a configuration like this for my star. I have a 2009 V Star 1300 and want to put the memphis shade, hard bags and the trunk mount on. Exactly the configuration that you have is what i've been looking for. Can you point me in the right direction and about how much did it run you?
What kind of exhaust is that? Did you need to get a fuel management module? How do you like the Tsukayu bags? Do the easy brackets do a good job of holding them on, or do the bags bounce around a bit?
This was the motorcycle that caught my eye when I was looking for something cool. How well do you like the Tsukayu bags? Are they comparable in size to the leather bags? I run a forum for the 1300 on Facebook, and there are very frequent questions from a couple of guys on better hard bags.
Hey boss first off great job. the bike looks great as a bagger. would love to get one of those fenders, could tell me the name of the manufacture. Also have you been able to find any stretched bags the fit the V star 1300?
Hey question for you- I too have the same Yamaha quick release side arms with the backrest but I want to change it to the trunk or touring pack instead. Would I remove the backrest pad and add the trunk like you did in your video? Looks good I like the trunk...any advice much appreciated.
I have been looking for a fairing and after looking at this one online it almost appears that you can bolt it straight to the stock windshield mounts? Is it possible to do that to eliminate the trigger lock system?
Can you name the parts kept in front and back.. will it be available online ? And can we fix it for all super bikes or only to any particular bikes ...?
They come already attached to the fairing. You only have to attach the "male" end of the QD mounts to your forks. Worst part was removing the turn signal screws.
How is that Cobra fi200 working for you I put the PCV on mine, I truly felt that it hindered my performance. They kept telling me that I need to take my bike to get it dyno'ed.......Hmmm what was the point in buying the PCV right? Well, I took it off and now my bike runs like a champ! I say get your bike dyno'd it cheaper than the Cobra fi200 or the PCV! I can say because I had the PCV, that the difference is BEAST! PCV ~ kitty talk Dyno (custom Map)~ get out of my way!
With a "dog bone." However, I wouldn't recommend it. Now that I live in NC, my frame and pipes drag ALL THE TIME. Just haven't gotten around to raising it back up yet. Kind of a pain.

Just purchased a 2007 V-Star 1300 a month ago. Definitely like and enjoy this bike. Could you please give a parts list for the cowling, bags, trunk and quick disconnect items needed? Love the work you did. Thank you.

FSF42001 hello, I’m not sure if you got your question answered. But check ebay it has most of the things he used to make the 1300 a bagger
Hey question for you- I too have the same Yamaha quick release side arms with the backrest but I want to change it to the trunk or touring pack instead. Would I remove the backrest pad and add the trunk like you did in your video? Looks good I like the trunk...any advice much appreciated.
whether it can be somewhere ę to buy the front of the motor for?
How do you secure the Memphis fairing to prevent a theft when your moto is parked and you are away for a short period of time?
Nice! I could not have done it better myself! did you get the apes on yet? I would like to see that!
Awesome....
Hello, where did you get the front fairing and rear bag?
Any death wobble with the batwing faring on
my apes are wide 10" with straight rise like yours with the fairing still fit with straight tens?
I have been looking for a fairing and after looking at this one online it almost appears that you can bolt it straight to the stock windshield mounts? Is it possible to do that to eliminate the trigger lock system?
What did you get all those quick disconnect parts I like the trunk with a fit a 650 vstar

How to the quick release mounts attach to the fairing?
