Evening Trains at Havant, PDL - 12th June 2023

Hello everyone.
And welcome to my subscribers and to those who has visited my channel to view my latest video.
On evening of June 12th, I headed down to Havant my old hometown of mine for over of couple of hours of filming.
Nothing much to say about it since my last visit.
Station is pretty much the same as it’s ever been, expect the toilets since has been refurbed and it’s looks more better and modern.
I really like the layout of the station, it has long really long Platform.
Both view vantage points are excellent, especially the view of the railway bridge and level crossing which always stands out for me. Really like seeing SWR appearing around the courner from Guildford & London line, and Southern on straight line on Chichester & Brighton.
Te only trains you will mostly see in this video will be South Western Railway 444 & 450, Southern 377.
As you already know in May 313 was withdrawn from mainline, and it has been replaced by 377 3 car and some 4 that will run Littlehampton & Brighton route!
There is some disruption to Southern due to problems with bridge collision somewhere near Gatwick & Horly line, and on top of it signal failures. In result lots of delayes Victoria, Portsmouth & Southampton services. Trains start their journey from Gatwick to Portsmouth & Southampton, and still go to London Victoria only on the up.
Ever since GWR Brighton to Bristol been axed from Sussex line & 313 has been completely withdrawn, Havant has become a lot more quieter.
But I always come back here as Havant always has special place in my heart as it was where I grew up, that was before I moved to Fareham.

42:36 is in fact 1S37 20:33 Portsmouth & Southsea - Brighton. Not Harbour, sorry for confusion. Only just noticed it. I did meant Southsea, just forgot to change it.

Great video. Have they reduced the number of trains to and from London Waterloo to Portsmouth as I thought there were more stopping services but I might be wrong?

Yes and no. They have reduced services in but only in Off Peak Hours. They have 2 fast services from Harbour and 1 stopper per hour to Waterloo in rush hour periods from 06:00 - 0900 & from 15:00 to 20:00.
