hmm it kinda makes me realize in a way when essek knocked on the door it was like a his subconcious is pkeaning for help to people he knows are good sometimes annoying but still good, because before he visited the xhorhaus he was never realy close to the mighty nein but since that moment his demeanor changes and opens up slowly to them he gets a family that are actually close to him and even a new best friend in caleb

It's funny that Caduceus mentions at one point that he wishes to save a soul, when collectively, the Mighty Nein managed to save Essek.
He wanted to save Lucien’s soul, and in the end he saved the good parts of it when he brought Kingsley to life.
