India is in an upward spiral, not only because of its successful ISRO rocket launch last month but also because its aviation sector is finally booming, placing India in the forefront of international business and aerospace affairs. Kudos
@LibertyUnion69 69 India's Gdp per capita in 2022-- 2301.418 usd Bangladesh 's Gdp per capita 2022 - 2793 usd In 2014 India was ahead of Bangladesh in Gdp per capita.

The industry is going to have to be very careful to not over expand. That's always the risk with expanding too quickly when all the players are doing it.
I wish some of parts of these 970+ planes are made in India. I am sure non critical components could be made in India. I Hope India will have more direct connectivity with North American cities. I rather pay Tata's than Middle eastern carrier
I saw a vlogger complaining about Air India's quality of food from France to Mumbai. In her comments section there were suggestions to take middle eastern carriers for such routes.
@@emotionalIntelligence2078 Unfortunately, it takes time to change quality after all it was a government org which was mismanaged. I hope to see some improvements in the near future. Emirates/Qatar are the only carriers who provide great service
It is refreshing to hear positive stories about India. Why can't WION do more stories like this instead of all the negative stories about China? Maybe it is Sunday?
Ya, the domestic passenger ticket costs are flying high too. I used to see 4,300/- from Delhi to Vijayawada, It's 6,300/- now, no matter if you book before 2 months or 3 months.
Because of inflation. Fuel comprises the biggest chunk of an Indian airline's expense. And because of the Ukraine war, oil prices have been galloping upward. But more competition is generally better for us the end users.
That's still quite cheap. That's only $82USD. That's good for a a nearly 900 mile flight. Airfares were too low to be sustainable. That's why carriers failed.
yeah first time i've seen that comment. The 777-9 is just as large as the 747-400 in capacity and actually carries more cargo on the passenger version.
Congratulations 👏 to the Indian aviation sector and all the new infrastructure being implemented, which will boost the passenger capacity and jobs in this sector Good news and Congratulations 👏😀👍
NE India need many more airports and budget carriers as connectivity is an issue during monsoon season. Roads and railway connectivity is getting improved but NE people who work in South India need to travel quickly and at reasonable prices.
Air India would be banking a lot on its partner to upgrade service, maintenance levels. Singapore Airlines owns 25% of Air India now. Hope its hiring process is professional.
If the pandemic era didn't exist, India's aviation industry would have literally sky rocketed despite the competition between carriers. It's good to hear the aviation industry is back on track. India has potential for each market … all it needs is confidence, patience and of course investment used wisely ... moreover togetherness of everyone :)
maybe expansion story is true, but my recent experiences - air india web based ticketing system does not work properly. You need to ensure quality services not the quantity
Air India has prosperous future ahead. However, my friends and family took air India flights between Delhi and NYC JFK this month and none of the economy TV worked and most of the seats were broken. I hope TATA very soon takes action on Air India's international planes and provides indians some comfort for their 15hrs journey.
Let the airlines evolve a fare system based on the weight of checked in baggage. That is lower fare for pax with no checkin baggage, and higher fares proportionate to the weight of checkin baggage.
These aviation companies should talk to the economist Martin Armstrong or Peter Schiff. I would bet most of these orders get cancelled by the end of the year.
Would it be safe to assume that a boom in the aviation sector most likely means a boom across a lot of industries, services, general life quality, prosperity etc in India?
if those planes are manufactured in India, it will help the whole economy. From small scale merchants to big companies, where money invested here will directly go into the economy in all ways. but not sure, are they be exported or manufactured in India. The later one will bring more advantage compared to earlier one
Airports, check New aircraft orders, check Interview pilots, check So you’re going to have a thirsty fleet of aircraft! Where do you source the petroleum?
Zero, Production line still pending Rafael not good for aviation investment hub F18 big opportunity to be save ocean by logistics and manufacturing support
But we need our manufacturing sector more productive...we are ordering plane...but we should focus on Making planes...bcz our engineers need to work here ....not in 🇺🇸
@@-bigChungusVerified Not necessarily in a country like India where it can take you multiple days to get from one corner to another by train - Couple that with delays, and you'll see why airline industry is also essential.. :)
New of hundreds of billions of dollars being wasted on imports is being spun as "good news". Yes that is great for Boeing and Airbus, but the worst possible news for every Bharati who is funding these expensive mistakes. The only solution is to buy Embraer, and join the CR929 jumbo jet project, and start making our own jumbo jets. Bharat cannot afford to be on the Pakistani path of paying top dollar for ruinously expensive imports. That way lies financial collapse.

China - Difficult for America , European countries to decouple from China on manufacturing ? Big mistakes by America , European countries to invest , open factories in China due to it's cheap labour , 40 years ago ? China took advantage , n mastered the necessary technologies , to maintain its edge ? Now , America , European countries want to decouple , why didn't they diversify to India ? India was playing politics ,close economy, follow protectionism when China opened up ? All Chinese know the internal weakness in India , only Indians do not know thier own weakness ?
I travelled recently on international air india but the problems still exist inspite of being privatised . And taken over by tatas. Nothing seems to be resolved although taken over by tatas from the government.
Why are you showing Modi's face while Air India is owned by TATA when the government couldn't even save the defunct airline? TATA himself does not even aligned with your ruling party's thoughts and beliefs??? Stop conning the world.
Waste of money. The world is on the brink of a severe economic depression that will probably lasts for a decade or so. India is not a rich country by all means. So, who is going to fly these airplanes, considering that other countries have there own jets.
Good for India's growing aviation sector.
Molly is constantly being phenomenal in her shows 🔥🔥
India is in an upward spiral, not only because of its successful ISRO rocket launch last month but also because its aviation sector is finally booming, placing India in the forefront of international business and aerospace affairs. Kudos
Let's keep this low key otherwise the US may have to start containing India due to national security. You know how that goes right?
@LibertyUnion69 69what has India achieved in BJP rule? India is still buying everything.

Wow, this is promising for the youth in the aviation industry
So nice to hear some good news for a change. 🥳 Thanks. And all the new people to maintain these jets, lots of jobs.

Well how come every other parts of the world is doing fine but your ever excuses (as usual) with the 'plandemic'
No use boasting about things when lingering problems are not resolved
maybe expansion story is true, but my recent experiences - air india web based ticketing system does not work properly. You need to ensure quality services not the quantity
The QUESTion and the QUEST should be: "What's happening in the Indian Skies"?
Air India has prosperous future ahead. However, my friends and family took air India flights between Delhi and NYC JFK this month and none of the economy TV worked and most of the seats were broken. I hope TATA very soon takes action on Air India's international planes and provides indians some comfort for their 15hrs journey.
It will take them quite a while to fix problems with existing aircraft.
All your info is correct except pilot salary. Still frozen at 3 years old salary sans any increament.
Let the airlines evolve a fare system based on the weight of checked in baggage. That is lower fare for pax with no checkin baggage, and higher fares proportionate to the weight of checkin baggage.
Airbus factory should be setup in India and produce planes in India rather than other countries.
Just hope that Central Government will bring jet fuel under gst which can lower flight ticket cost.
Buying Western planes that decrease a country forex reserves is now considered SOARING, great.

It seems moli wanted to become airhostess but she became an anchor. However outfit can be copied for next modernisation for the aviation industry.
We need 1000 new airports. this is nothing
Jai Modi, Jai Hind!
I dont wanna be a pilot or an air controller in 20 years from now .its gonna be a really REALLY busy sky traffic

So what train you will catch from NY to Delhi?
Airports, check

But we need our manufacturing sector more productive...we are ordering plane...but we should focus on Making planes...bcz our engineers need to work here ....not in 🇺🇸
The check-in time should be minimised for close destinations... Otherwise trains are better for that
Trains are anyways better than planes

they are privatized now. Just check now much better than before.
