    Thank you! Why you are not at a million subscribers is head scratching. You are impressive!

      Well, it's because I chose THEE most neglected and unpopular topic on Earth, and then turned my channel into a classroom!
      I'm not naïve. I know that I will pour myself into delivering this education for the rest of my life. And I also know that, at age 63 now, I will probably die before I make a big difference in the world. But at least I know I've helped YOU.
      Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts and for getting this education.

    I hope you cover the statistics a little more. The inverse relationship of several are interesting. Incidence and mortality being vastly different (intervention?), that incidences are going up (which I didn’t know) and why are races affected differently. I’m looking forward to seeing your video. I think I’m doing healthy things to set myself up for healthy outcomes but we’ll find out soon what else needs to be done. I remember you saying in an earlier video that incidences weren’t not correlated to using HRT or at least no higher cases were seen due to its use which makes sense given it’s health benefits on our total health system. It’s just in general cancer rates have increased among our population, I believe.

      Cancer is a disease of civilization. And there are hundreds of different cancers, all with different risk factors. Most of them have to do with our modern lifestyles.

    Short and to the point. It is very clear with a teacher like you. You seem to answer the questions I wonder about.
    Looking forward, next week, to the meat and potatoes about Endometrial Cancer. 💕

      Dr. Taylor, thank you! I believe your insightful education has saved me and my family!!! I had no idea what was happening to me…my brain my body my life (or lack of)…and nobody was able to help me understand until I found you via Dominique and Angie youtube channels. I have since been to see a Baylor obgyn you interviewed (Dr Ali) who assisted me in jump starting my life again and have been on a steady incline of happy wife happy life again for a year this coming November. My husband/ family and I THANK YOU for all you have done to date and what we trust you will do in future! You are superb!!!

    Present and ready for class!
    Sadly, I was one of ones who are not post menopausal and got it at 50. The cancer the pathologist caught was in a polyp with cancer growing. Adenocarcinoma Stage 1a. Complex Atypical Hyperplasia was found to.

    Question for you because I’ve gotten several conflicting answers. If you’ve had an ablation is progesterone still needed as part of HRT. My OBGYN and another medical professional say yes because you still have an intact uterus but I’ve heard you say it’s not necessary. Why is there not a definitive answer 🤷🏻‍♀️

    It’s so frustrating the education on this type of cancer is lacking, women think all these symptoms of EC are “normal” or we are told they’re normal, brushed off when the sxs are not normal!!! There is no test for this cancer, nothing. Very little funding. Likely why the rates are rising!!!

      I guess pap the smear test cannot find abnormalities in the uterine lining. Is that the case?

    • @vcr6854
      @vcr6854 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@janedoe7251 the pap does not

    • @MenopauseTaylor
      @MenopauseTaylor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@janedoe7251 Correct. A pap smear only tests the cells on the part of the cervix that protrudes into your vagina. It tells you absolutely nothing about the inner uterine lining higher up above the cervix.
      Remember, your cervix is the door to your uterus. So a pap only tests the door, not what's inside the door.

    Just had a trans vag US for spotting....thickened lining despite being on both estradiol and progesterone-noncyclic regimen. Why would that occur? Scheduled for a biopsy as well. Levels of estrogen and progesterone are within normal limits according to labwork. Have gained a great deal of weight on HRT as well. Was hoping normalized levels post menopause would help keep weight gain in check. Looking forward to next week's video as its a timely discussion for me.

      Jill,
      This is precisely the kind of thing for which I do one-on-one consultations. You definitely need one. I cannot tailor things specifically to you in a comment box. It requires much more information than you can give me here, and you deserve much more information than I can give you here. No two women are alike, and addressing your situation requires tailoring all the facts specifically to YOU. I do them all via video conferencing. You can schedule at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I look forward to meeting you and helping you.

    My oestrogen-levels in blood test came back today
    I’m 137. Where’s my doc said a normal level needs to be around 300
    I’m on 4 pumps of Estrodail gel n she’s recommended going on a 100 patch-
    Will my body absorb better from a patch
    What to do?

      This all depends on all the different factors that could be contributing. And I can only help you figure it out by tailoring everything specifically to YOU in a consultation. You can schedule one at MenopauseTaylor.ME, and I do them all online.
