I think he deserves some chances more in NBA
Marial was my neighbor growing up, was great friends with his brother shayok, dudes a machine both brothers were destined to be great, never doubted for a minute.

He was a horrible player for us. Just because he had a good shooting game does t mean he belongs in the NBA.

@@twismpeguero we will have to disagree. I think he has talent and was miss handled. One final question rhetorical, do you think that every player currently in the league is “good enough” to have their spot on an NBA roster or are there a few that are looked at as just needing time and opportunity?
@@oldschoolde5183 disagreements are good... I agree that not everyone out of the NBA is a bum. But when he was in the team, we had guys with better potential who could do a lot more than hit the 3.

People are just concerned that we are struggling to beat these teams as a big favorite. Afraid we are going to end up losing in Paris. Especially after the debacle at the world championships last year. Something seems amiss with Kerr as coach. Seems like he just doesn't have the team prepared to play all too often.

This was very well done. Marial's journey is a lot more realistic, he is also a great player. There are a lot of great players out there that go unnoticed. Some call it politics.. I just think it's hard to stand out among so many elite athletes. The timing for a lot of these guys is also really important.

Shayok was clearly NBA ready after his last season at Iowa State. Made so many NBA level plays in big games. Ageism in today's NBA front offices against veteran college stars is being exposed. Trayce Jackson Davis is another example. All you have to do is watch the film, the college vets are better basketball players than the raw prospects that get picked ahead of them.

South Sudanese are very good basketball players. I wanted to open up a basketball training camp and school for South Sudanese kids, where they and their families can come and stay in Kenya while they get educated. South Sudanese are like our brothers and sisters. For me especially, because I come from Western Province, and my ancestors travelled in Sudan to settle in Kenya.
The Detroit Pistons should fire their entire team and hire South Sudan. That way they will win an NBA championship within three years.

Why embarrassing ? Half of South Soudan play or have played in the NBA. They have a US naturalised Soudanese inntheir team. On top of that, they are trained and coached by a former NBA player. This match looks more like an another regular NBA…
