The husqvana logo is a gun sight because they started out making guns. Get the hatchet and the splitting axe. Put a coat of 25% turpentine 75% tung oil on the handle. Put a protector on the handle just below the head.

Something that really helped me with over strikes is instead of setting your blade in the middle of the log to gauge your distance, put it like an inch so in and gauge from there because the over strike happens when your aiming at the middle. When your swing comes down it tends to go a little farther out than we expected, so if you aim closer to you itll hit the middle lol and of course different sized logs call for different aiming depth but you get the idea lol.
