Eversince watching The Spanish Princess, I have come to respect and love Catherine so much more then before. She loved Henry but, he was nothing but a douchebag to her. He wanted an male heir and he literally killed in order to get one. Catherine suffered because of it and still she remained strong and devoted to the husband who didnt love her anymore.
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL AND HEARTBREAKING ☹ It was really painful to see this season cuz in s1 I loved them so much and s2 was an downfall (but like you said, we know it was going to happen because of history lol) You editing them so well! Can't wait to see your TSP vids :)
By far the best edit of these two that I’ve come across! The talent you hold... astonishing. Can’t get over this show.. sad it came to such a depressing end. However, this truly summed up the essence of their story!
Henery's greed just took over him...he was only thinking of remaining in the line of succession .... I started hating him for what he did to Katherine.

Henry 7 was a prime example of that, he didn't fall to the whole "kings have mistresses" garbage, he was deeply happy with Elizabeth and gave her his whole heart - and we know that if they had only had daughters they would have done whatever they could to put their daughters on the throne instead of continuously trying for a boy. If Henry 7 had been around when Henry 8 started treating Catherine like shit he probably would have beat his son within an inch of his life.

I can’t tell if he loved her or all he wanted all along was for her to give him a baby boy..
but then...you don’t cheat on someone you love and he was just cruel to her after a while so, no I don’t think he loved her. She loved HIM tho.
