Is the Lord building His Church in your life?

Major work being done on the building here at Honolulu AG reminds me of the work Jesus is doing to build His church (Matthew 16:18). The Apostle Peter reminds us that we, "like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 2:5).
There are six parallels between the physical work of building and the spiritual work the Holy Spirit is doing in our lives.
1. It is Messy.
2. It can become Discouraging.
3. It will be Costly.
4. We need to keep in mind the Finished Result.
5. There will be unexpected Discoveries.
6. It will be Worth it.
