- When you first surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you were filled to overflowing with great passion and desire for Him. He overwhelmed you with His love and grace and mercy. Your great desire was to spend time with Him, to learn more about Him, to tell others about Him.
But time passed and the fire you had at the beginning began to cool. It is still burning, but not as Hot as before. Have you begun to take Him for granted?
In Revelation 2, Jesus gives us a stern warning. He begins His letters to the seven churches (chs 2-3) with the letter to the church at Ephesus. He starts out with praise for them; in fact, there is much 2 commend (v2-3).It would be a great commendation if the letter stopped there. But there is also a warning (v4): "Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love."
What about you? Have you Left (not lost) your first love? Here are 12 signs that indicate you might have done so, plus the remedy Jesus gives in verse 5 to correct it.

This is great!
Mahalo, Lani! Did you see part 1 last week?
No
Keep passionate in your love for Jesus, Simone!
😂 always ready to cheer up when my smartphone seems to have gone dumb.😢😅
Mahalo, Harold!
People supporting Trump treat him as a God of the Greek myths not a godly man of the Bible
Aloha, Michael! What does your political comment have to do with this Bible study?
Keep your eyes on Jesus, Michael, not man!
@@honoluluassemblyofgod you don’t think a huge segment of the “ evangelical” population in America has lost their first love? That’s what it has to do with your clip. If you’re not speaking against a man who is sin personified. A man who does blasphemy wrapping the Bible in a flag and putting secular documents within is a man to be pointed to and declared to be what he is. Shalom
@@michaelbrickley2443 Don't you think you should pray for Trump? If he is your enemy, that is your calling - to love your enemies (Matthew 5:44-45). What would Jesus do, Michael?
@@honoluluassemblyofgod I’ve been praying to see him repent and really be a disciple. I find it surprising how many people try to tell me he was the greatest President and what a great Christian.
