Don’t love what I saw of the art of The Fable but think the story could grab me - will snag that and Steel Of The Celestial Shadows for myself, and Medalist for my 13 year old and I.

Great question! You have me stumped haha. I cannot think any a manga about a middle age man who took on martial arts. There are plenty of manga about young men taking on martial arts but I struggled to think of someone who is middle age. Good luck!
