I don't know if the translation will do its good when it reaches Global server. But I can assure Long Trail has by far the best story telling in HG side stories. A real romanticism, and a salute to all the great pioneers and explorers. In this story even those who are object to pioneering have their solid ground given the world building in Terra. Not to mention those lore drops!
The localization was dry and verbose as always. They could leave eloquent outfit descripts and Op personal files, but not the most important translation job of the entire game? Hell, even the Diary pages in this very same event have natural and smooth flowing writing. Why do they keep doing this to the event dialogues???
Unfortunately you got the wrong mission - it's even more thematically appropriate than Apollo 11, it's from Voyager 1. Voyager 1, the first man-made object to escape our solar system, just as Kristen Wright became the first person on Terra to break past the fake sky that hid the universe from the people below. Amazing choice that was.
It crowns a ludicrously grand collection of amazing soundtracks. I don't think there is another game out there that has as much variety and depth as the Arknights soundtrack and SOMEHOW they still managed to top all of it for this.
You'd be surprised, there's some other gachas who nail some pretty good music like for example Nikke has been on a roll with bangers and so does mihoyo games have good music in their games. Can't blame you for that opinion though, this is definetly up there as one of the better bangers in mobile games and arknight's devs definetly are the most music and animation centered mobile game company i know. This is a reason i keep playing this game since release and will continue to do so, seeing their passion in these animations and music motivates me.

I'll admit, the release at the end of the sequence is so good, and it is cut out to have the loop keep on going. It was so satisfying to hear, after the full 30 minutes, that final release, and the fade-out.
On a whim, while i rewatch the Artemis 1 Launch, i decided to put this song on the background. It didnt really times exactly to the Lift-Off, but still felt that goosebumps *The theme perfectly encapsulates our triumph. For us humans, we are returning back to the stars. For Terrans.. they just walk into the new frontier*

I'd like to see Arknights x Granblue Fantasy. So, the latter characters are somehow transported into the former. I imagine the banters when they discover they're not on the floating islands anymore but on literal tectonic plates with an ocean that's way wider than they've ever seen in their life. This matter of surface is a great deal because that's where everything just ceases to function, even science-magic technology but now they're stepping on it while still being alive. The former is also as surprised there's a civilization existing in the sky if they will talk about it, as we know it from LT this is the opposite of each other. If we're talking about operators getting outfits, GBF isn't lacking in them as well.

It did so well. I almost cried watching the moment where Kirstein's vessel pierced the Barrier, revealing the Twin Moons.

Sadly there were quite a few issues with words missing and spelling. It still was amazing.
