What’s important is given them the permit to be airborne. Because people who are ready to support need to be sure there is value for their investment. No mind games. What if this thing can not fly after all. There is a lot of engineering hurdles to clear
Well, they probably checked the centre of gravity to prevent weight in-balance , then measured how many Kg or pounds of thrust the engines can carry and make sure that the plane is lighter than the answer they get from the measurements, then they can also make sure that the horizontal stabilizers or elevators are working like they should and also make sure that the wings produce enough lift, and if they know they passed all these tests then for sure it will fly.

So how did they know it could fly without flying it??
Eugene Atta Attadjei and how can they do the flying test without the license? At least let us support our own bcuz black ppl are capable of doing everything.
@@sankfatv7433 Why does race matter?? These two have a very basic understanding of aircraft design. Nothing more. That's the result of a lack of education, not race.
This is great work. Such talent need to be supported by the government.
6:06 for takeoff. You'll thank me later.
It's already three years have the aircraft fly ?
A nice attempt. Somebody should help them to make it fly.
The repoter said the aircraft can fly but they don't have the license to do so
4:12 mins
He needs a license it will be done by end of june
Africa has many talented people but some lack resources and budget
No, they're not lacking of resources Africa has half of the world's minerals like diamonds, gold, iron and etc. The problem is corruption and lack of uneducated people.......
I remember studying birds that don't fly, 😅😂😂
hahaha this one really cracked me up
I’m sure you will get that support you asking for to get you ahead with your Dream. Your effort make us all proud. Make Africa Great Together
Looks like a very promising design.
Good build quality too, given the resources they have
Bruh...they drive the propeller with a belt...my ass good build quality.
@@Slithermotion 🤣 have you seen some of the other African aircraft on TH-cam? Compare to those, this thing looks like something straight out of wakanda
@Gabo H tbh honest this vehicle in the video is closer to a car with a funny rotating stick on the front then an airplane.
Srly guys in the 19th century build aircrafts that actually fly this thing cant even do that.
And I know….people don‘t like to hear the truth but thats how it is.
what should I do?
Be impressed by something like that?
Because it was made in africa?
A bad product is a bad product doesn‘t matter where it‘s made.
It might be a hobby for hin but he could use that money otherwise.
This seems like dead capital, the thing that he will get out of this is timewsting.
@Gabo H I doubt that you are a pilot.
Maybe you play around with RC models.
Ok if belt driven aircraft are common on small aircrafts name me one.
Wing designs are usually licensed, because it‘s complicated.
Even if it is self designed it would be made with aerodynamic simulation and wind tunnel testing.
This is absolutely amazing. Fantastic story.
They need more education. Building from scratch is like going back to the Stone age. In this jet age, we should build more vocational schools to take care of all these stuff.
true, there's already books and videos on how to build aircraft, what they need is education and improved Ghanaian infrastructure.
Blablabla if it was a white you wouldn't said that
@@daviwilliam281,
You're absolutely right. The African Government has not advanced enough to eliminate Racism, we here in the United States are barely into it but we are further advanced than the African nations.
@@daviwilliam281 @david williams This has nothing to do with white or black. Do you know that this skills are not new. Creativity is all about coming up with something new from the existing knowledge. Be original.
@@daviwilliam281 Racism is dead a long time ago. Money talks. If you want better metals to make aircraft you can get them at a cheaper rate from United States. They will not even ask you if you are Black or White. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! You can curse them or call them racist and they will not beat you, arrest you or physically harm you. If you are lucky you might even get some for free.

Am from biafra am happy for our Ghana brother, Africa should well up this is the reason why we need biafra to come God bless Africans
Great Job but not convinced. I want to see it fly. Cuz anyone can do this movable thing
Keep going. Never give up Better days will come.🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
The engine runs on coconut oil! Amazing!
These kids have more passion and initiative than most people, I hope they fulfill their dream of getting their machine into the sky. They need help though, there are better engines out there, so perhaps some kind sponsor might help them out.
This is great!! Please tell me how I can help these young men continue building airplanes?
T M If you could track them down and pay for that license it seems like that would help a lot
giv mone
Nothing can stop a determined mind to do what his mind desires, not even lack of resources in Africa. Great job guys.
There is a lady in Ghana from the Volta region who builds this type of planes that fly's,you guys should contact her
What village is she from?
Give us the link where we can see her flying with that self-build aircraft

They need to contact that lady in Volta region for briefing as to how it can fly,she has done it bravo
Other countries when looking at this ambitious toy craft and comments here, cannot do nothing but laugh out loud until stomachs hurt. Why would they stop saying (West) Africans are backward? It's embarrassing! I've seen accurately modeled toys of almost the same size that can actually fly using remote control.
