As a competitive game banter should be encouraged honestly, without rivalry competition has no reason for viewers to be engaging. Sucks the setsukos twitter harassers get off scott free they were seriously just slinging dead threats, if you consider that his responses to that level of toxicity was no where near his aggravators. Definitely seems setsukos punishment was out of portion when worse actions got less, valorant and league analogies seems pretty irrelevant since riot has not stayed consistent.
On one hand, setsuko probably (definitely lol) deserved a punishment. On the other hand, how the hell is the fine for pretending to type something MORE THAN CHEATING AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP? Edit: If what Frodan was saying at around 27:00 minutes is true, it's damn near impossible to show true wintrading, and they've established a precedent that outside of hard empirical evidence like message logs, they can't punish it as it should. This is gonna be abused tbh, so that's scary.
I mean yeah it is impossible because the basis of wintrading relies on the belief that a player performed poorly intentionally for the benifit of another, which is extremely hard to prove and you dont want to get it wrong and create a culture of players accusing eachother of wintrading everytime they misplay or just have a bad game.
