If you wanna play 60 fps and make it wide screen (get rid of the side bars) without being in beta, you could get the nuclear throne together mod. The main purpose is online CO-OP but it also adds a command console that lets you tweak a ton of things.
Trigger fingers might look really useless but it's probably the benst mutation in the game and it's effect is very very noticeable. Tale it when you can because it's really fun too

Love this game and it's gotta be the hardest top-down shooter roguelike I've played. I've been trying to beat a specific boss since for over 4 years and I just did it a couple months ago
you should skip regular red chest to get big chest(+25% chance 4 every red chest skipped, chance reset after opening big chest but you can rasie this chance again)
Coming from someone who's play the hundred hours in the game there is no definitive strategy they all have good sides to them just find the one that's best for you for me that's Explosive Melee for you it to be anything. Edit: aside from the disc gun that weapon is just a joke weapon this bad.
Last wish is a reroll on top of the ammo and full heal when you take it the first level of the frozen wasteland will have a flower head that you can feed 4 hp to go to a different lvl and it will reroll the last wish into a new mutation choice

If I could only play video games from one country it would be Russia Tetris and nuclear throne lasts multiple lifetimes gungeon I beat even if they added dailys wouldn't play more but this game it just speaks to me

I'm not saying people hate it, I'm saying it never really sparked off as hugely popular beyond just existing in a time when games like it weren't a dime a dozen like today. And I'm saying this as a big fan of the game. Nobody I know, even people into roguelites, know what the fuck Nuclear Throne is. It's not Binding Of Isaac or Enter The Gungeon.
@@OlexaYT Like I asked a friend who is a big Roguelite genre fan to name the most highly regarded Roguelikes, and he said BoI, FTL, Slay The Spire, and Rogue Legacy. I had to remind him that Nuclear Throne existed. I also asked a friend who is Aware Of Them but not a fan because he sucks at him, and his imemdiate response was BoI, Rogue Legacy, EtG, Hades, Spelunky, FTLK, and Slay the Spire. Both of them only knew about Nuclear Throne existed because I told them about it since I liked it. The same names come up for both of them, and are what I meant by 'I don't think Nuclear Throne is regarded', as it was on neither of their radars despite having once been a real titan of the genre. Outside of the more hardcore Roguelite community, I'd be surprised if there was a huge amount of awareness that it even exists, which is what I was lamenting.
No offense I think your friends are living under a rock then. Nuclear throne is 100% in the same vein as those other games in terms of roguelike history and legacy

And I feel like it has a lot to do with how Vlambeer bungled it. Right before the big patch that was suppose to hit retail, it just kind of went silent for at least a year and they ended up having a fan release a mostly bug-fix patch for v99 and just going "there done!" and nothing else ever, which killed a lot of the game's momentum. Also, I did some more asking, just to make sure I didn't get the one Roguelite fanboy who lived under a rock, and the two others I've spoken to so far... well, out of everyone I asked, only one even had heard of Nuclear Throne before I ranted to them about it, and they didn't think very highly of it, instead repeating BoI, FTL, and Spelunky and outright saying that NT doesn't deserve the title. It's a crying shame.

hey there is a mod for the game called Nuclear Throne Together that adds 60fps and a widescreen feature which makes playing the game a bit better imo

Yeah but the jungle is very hard and only really worth it to unlock a character
