I like the way Gary Pepper received his pay cheques from Elvis when they were put in a dish on a cabinet counter. Sounds so personal and simple in that day. You certainly would feel like part of the family. Thank you Ashley.
Isn’t that cool! Thank you Jackie!
I Love Elvis Presley! Love Graceland! Beautiful! I Love ❤️ The Presley Family! ♥️🎶🎸🎤🎼❤️💕🎧
Me too! You’re in the right place!
I really like how you are able to point out the little things that are right in front of us but so easily missed. Been through Graceland 20 times and you always teach me something new.
Happy to help! Thank you!
I really enjoyed the video, your detective skills are second to none, I can't pick a favourite it was all good 😀👍
Thank youuu!
My favorite part is how you take a picture we all may have seen serval times over and bring them into a new light. Then turn them into a story of how and what it meant to Elvis, his life, his family and friends! And now his Fans. As always “Amazing job Ashley!”
That’s awesome, thank you Mama Jo!
I love all your videos!!! You find the smallest of details that we would all miss....to find the details on the coffee table edging is amazing!! Master of Details! Another great video this week as always
Yay thank you Jason!!
Thank s Ashley. Love the way you see things that we don't. Thanks for all your hard work
You are so welcome! Thanks Sheila!
One of the GREAT looks into Graceland ever. EP Enterprises should hire you!!
Wow thank you! So glad you enjoyed it! I have a whole series of these if you’re interested: th-cam.com/play/PLpbgiT3hsfNYRJXM8BDZi3_q4q8MdOLQQ.html
I love this series Ashley!! I love the part about where Gary's paycheck's were left. To me, I think Elvis would want Gary to feel just like everyone else, so probably every guy/gal had their paycheck's left there. Who knows.? Thank you for doing what you do.
Absolutely! Thank you Danny!
Great video as always. I have been an Elvis fan for 40 years, I have read extensively about him and his life, yet today is the first time I ever heard of Gary Pepper, a really beautiful story. I myself work in the disability services and its amazing to think Elvis was promoting inclusion and employment for people with disabilities long before it was a done thing. He continues to amaze and impress.
Oh wow! I totally agree. If you're interested, I've created several videos about Gary and Elvis, here's the first one: th-cam.com/video/Pp-ZLWmvgwo/w-d-xo.html
Loved all of the tidbits of info, you always make them so very interesting and I always learn something new from you about Graceland and Elvis. Thanks Ashley ❤️
Aw thank you Karen! Glad you enjoyed it! ⚡️
Omg you’re good, really good. Thanks 🙏 heaps for all that you do researching all of this info. The wheels of life at the meditation garden was awesome to learn.
I appreciate that! I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks Lawrence!
Oh my, oh my Ashley! TMI!! I had to watch this video twice. Kept stopping, back ‘er up, fast forwarding! Whoops! Went too far. Dang it! 🤬 Whew!! 🥵 I’m exhausted! LOL. After ALL that, I loved the Cycles of Life wheels on The Meditation Garden wall. “PROPHETIC” or “COINCIDENCE” that Elvis put them there ? 🤷♀️ TCB ⚡️🕺👑🕵️
LOL glad it kept you on your toes!! TCB ⚡️😊
That was a lot of great information, thanks! Keep being awesome Ashley ⚡️
Thank you Nooner!
Young, time traveling Tom Cruise on the left at the table at 4:35 😂 Great video once again!! 😍
It’s the eyebrows! I totally see it 😆 thank you Olivia!
Very interesting as always!! I thought I knew a lot about Elvis after 55 years, but I always learn something new from your posts!! Thank You for sharing!!
That’s awesome! Thanks Rob
I love all of your videos. Keep on making them.❤
That truly means so much to me, thank you Kathy ❤
I love the picture of Elvis and his parent's that he loved so much. Elvis was truly a family man when it came to his relative's, a lot of them were on his payroll which Elvis took very seriously. Thank you Ashley you make great video's and alway's have the fact's.
Thank you Sandra!
Wheels of life. On the wall. Thank you for sharing. You are a joy to watch and listen to. Your secrets always amaze me. Can't wait to hear and see more secrets. Love, love your detective work!!

As always, another great video! Thank you so much for all that you do!
Cool name! Glad you enjoyed it!
@@ashleysadventures thank you Miss Ashley! I recently started making Elvis videos (none are anywhere near as good as yours!) But I appreciate you so much. You are carrying the torch for the next generation and that is so important. Plus, I respect your “positiveness” professionalism. Thank you for that! Christina
That’s so kind of you, thank you Christina! Best of luck with your channel! ☺️
@@ashleysadventures thank you so much!!!
Wow, a jammed pack video full of information. Usually I can pick a favorite but this is a video I wished continued for a few more minutes! I love the contrast between how things used to be and how they are now. Keep up the remarkable work. TCB

Ooh me too. Thanks a lot Bruce!
I find all the pictures fascinating I love seeing the difference from then and now
I like the picture of the cook maybe Nancy or lottie? Sitting in the kitchen having coffee with friends
It shows the normal day to day life going on and i like that
Thanks Ashley you always bring such interesting facts
God bless 😀👍❤
That’s my favorite part too! Thanks Alice!
You have a unique style of investigating and pointing out what most of us miss. You'd make a heck of a detective! "Ashley Drew P.I." Enjoyed the video!
Thanks a lot Jay!
Simply the best. All of it.
Glad you enjoyed it, David!
Thank you so much this was so fantastic I had to share this. Alot of stuff I never seen about Graceland my parents went there in 1988 with my favorite car my Mercury cougar lol. Wish I still had that. I hope I go to Graceland one day soon. My favorite part was was the wheels of the Budda resting place for Elvis RIP Elvis we love you so much and still watch n listen to all your music I grew up with listening to Elvis Presley my Dad was a very big Fan my Mom named me Lisa Marie but I'm older then Elvis Presley and Pircella Lisa Marie I was born in 1966 lol she was named after me lol. XOXOXO ❤❤❤❤❤🎶🎶🎶🎶💋💋💋💋💋🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
Thank you for tuning in and sharing the video, Lisa! So glad you enjoyed it
Thank you Ashley, wonderful information about things we Elvis fans really don't think about. Keep new information coming as best you can.
Thank you! Will do!
thanks for another good video its nice to see gracelands from different sides take care from england
Glad you like them! Thank you Paul
I love seeing the before and after's of Elvis' home/property. I think Ma Ma Jo Scott said it best! It is fun to see how things looked in the early years to what it became in the 70's and what it is now. All homes change with the times and Elvis' home was no different. Yes, he had some unusual taste but it is what made him him! I don't know that I had a favorite, but I love that you busted the myth of a door coming into the dinning room from outside. It did look like a door, but way to high. If I was going to pick a favorite, it would have to be the circles on the wall. I just think that is so interesting, cool and perfectly Elvis. Great job again Ashley, you always search out the truth and bring it to us. Thanks for all you do!
Yay thanks a lot Brenda!! Glad you enjoy these peeks into Graceland like I do
Like always great job and so many cool unseen pics to me....
Glad you enjoyed it!

Love your dedication & intricate details about Elvis & Graceland. TCB ⚡
Thank you very much!
Ashley, on yt there is a presentation of the 1984 AMA's. At the 133 minute mark there is a tribute to Karen Carpenter.
❤️Karen

Awesome info! I am very grateful thank you Ashley! 💯
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you Miranda!
Very interesting Ashley. Nice work for sure 👍🏻😎
Thanks a lot David!
I see the only commissioned by Elvis of himself painting you see in the trophy room photo is still there just before you exit toward the pool. I just toured Graceland again a couple of weeks ago and John Stamos mentions it on the iPad tour. Very cool video Ashley.
Stay tuned!
Very Good ... Really enjoy your Graceland videos , keep it up GREAT JOB
Thank you!
Thanks heaps Ashley. A great video indeed. Stay safe.

Oh ok, glad to help! Thank you Luis!
It was all great Ashley- thanks!
Thank you Rob!
My favorite part is Elvis and the little girl visitor. Too bad he made her wait 2 hrs. And the circles on the back of the wall in the mediation garden. Next time we go I'LL look and see if l can see them. Thank you for all your hard work. Much !love Mary
Awesome, thank you for watching!!
Ashley, I don't know how you do it! Where on earth do you get all your photos from and information? This is crazy! You're amazing. Graceland just continues to amaze me and keep me thinking about just where that view or something was...so confusing with all the changes through the years. Thank you so much for all of your sleuthing!
Haha! This is a culmination of years of nerding out. I was the same way, it was so confusing and hard to understand even after a few visits so I needed to dive in and kept finding more and more things that intrigued me. So happy you enjoyed this one! Thank you
Love it . I hope you do a video one day on behind the curtain at Elvis shows what went on and who was allowed back there etc maybe pics if any is available
Thanks for watching! That topic isn't on my list unfortunately
Yay!! 👏👏👏👏 ~ I’m waiting! 🤗 Patiently this time. LOL.
Lol you’ll like this one I think!! ☺️
@@ashleysadventures ~ I know I will cause you’re the 🌟 of ALL things Elvis!! 🤩
wow so much to take in - love these videos x
Yay! Thanks Helen!
Anticipation….
Yay I hope you enjoy it ☺️
Like it all ❤ Like your hair cut 👏Happy 4th July 🇱🇷🎇🌭
Thank you!!
I didn't know that the 15ft sofa was originally light blue 🤔 and like the information about the TV room and the original trophy room 😊
Thanks for tuning in!
Have they roped off the pool room? I've been to Graceland 7-8 times, but Aunt Delta was still living there the last time I visited so we didn't see the kitchen or her bedroom. However, everything else was open. You could walk the grounds, spend time at the racquetball court, go out to the Meditation Gardens, then come back through the Trophy Room. It was really open to fans, but as crowds increased I think they closed the living room and music room. Of course, upstairs and the dining room were always roped off. Still, a very special place!
It would be very different now! The pool room is roped off
You are good at what you do.
Thanks a lot!
Liked it all hugs
I’m happy you enjoyed it, Marilyn!
Another great one! ⚡️
Thanks girl, glad you enjoyed it! ⚡️
Very interesting. Thank you.

Wow like the stories especially Gerry
Yay! Thanks for watching!
Thank you..
Welcome!
Love it -!
Happy you enjoyed it! I love making these. Thanks Lance!
What was your favorite thing you learned from this video?
I loved the info on the patterns meaning. Wheels of life!
Trophy building info and pics were very interesting.... Great Video once again.
It was all fascinating but the most touching part was hearing how Elvis put Gary on the payroll. What a typical Elvis move. What a sweet, caring and generous man! Oh, what he did for his aunt Delta too!
Have you heard the story about when aunt Delta got drunk at Graceland? Elvis who apparently had great distaste for people who were drunk, warned her that if she ever got drunk like that again she would nor be allowed to stay at the house.
I thought the Buddhist Wheels of Life were very interesting. I've been to Graceland a few times so far and have never thought of going behind the wall in the Medication Garden. I will try to the next time I go in September. Thanks for all the info Ashley!
All of it was interesting. The wheels of life was my favorite part.
Thank you
And thank you for watching! ☺️
AWESOME, Ashley Drew!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching ⚡️
Your awesome let's go to Grace land together.I've been there 2 times in 34years
Glad you enjoyed the video! Here's my entire Secret Graceland playlist that might help on your next visit: th-cam.com/play/PLpbgiT3hsfNYRJXM8BDZi3_q4q8MdOLQQ.html
When you was talking about Elvis recording his last album, in the Jungle Room, it just made me think, it's not a place that is secluded, those sounds could be heard in the kitchen clearly, because there is no sliding door, like in the dinning room that could block the outside room noise.
Everyone had to be quiet. Thanks for watching!
@@ashleysadventures Cool. You're Welcome
Great info Ashley 👍
Thanks a lot!
Very Interesting
Thanks for watching!
Great Work!! Greetings from Germany 😍
Thank you for watching! 🇩🇪
@@ashleysadventures I will watch your videos more often now! Greetings🥰
Awesome thank you! I hope the German subtitles are helpful
⚡⚡⚡⚡ TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY PARTY!! I ASKED FOR AN ELVIS BOBBHEAD !!!!
🎉🎉🎂
I haven’t seen too much or any of the photos of the trophy room at 7:43 but lately I have been. For some reason(haven’t told anyone) I had a split second dream along time ago of walking into this room, looking like it does in 7:43 and Elvis was standing behind the counter. I have no idea why, but i dreamed it, and now this photo has been so different for me.
That’s interesting! Thank you for watching
Ashley . . . could you give us info on what is around the left corner of the refrigerator in the kitchen and where that area goes to??? Great video/info.
Thanks for watching! Sure, I just took a pic the other day and I’ll share it on Facebook and Instagram
Muy bueno el video q mandaste de mi ídolo lo importante q lo traducieron al castellano 🇺🇸🇨🇱🎸
me alegra que lo hayas disfrutado! traduzco todos mis videos al español. ¡Gracias por ver!
Everything
Thanks for watching!
Just wondering if the antiques that he had removed were kept? I love antiques especially if there is a provenance attached ..
I don’t believe they were saved
Elvis didnt like antiques.
Love your videos Ashley, do have recommendations for books on Elvis and Graceland?
I recommend Graceland by Chet Flippo. It’s a thick, comprehensive coffee table book you can find used for under $10
Parabéns pelo canal!! Menina vc tem futuro brilhante!!!
Muito obrigada, Eliza!
Best Elvis channel on YT! (Don't tell the Spa Guy I said that :)
Thank you. I'm not associated with him whatsoever
@@ashleysadventures Although intrigued, Your affiliation with him doesn't matter to me. You keep being the best at what you do. I'm glad I'm sub'd to this channel :)
Hi Ashley thank you for your marvelous videos always so informative. I would love to know if there is any information that you are aware of in regards to the privacy wall at the top of the staircase leading to the upper floor. I recently read a comment from a Presley family member that this wall was not installed until after Elvis passed. Do you know if this was correct,? Thanks
Thanks a lot Biff! That privacy wall can be seen in photos as far back as the early 60s
@@ashleysadventures Thanks Ashley I knew you would be able to clear this up your Graceland knowledge is nothing short of incredible. It's odd that a family member claimed it was never there.
Happy I could clear that up!
Nice pic of Ruth
thank you for watching!
I’m not sure but I think back then the shutters on the windows were there to help when it really cold so they closed them over the windows to protect the cold when the wind was blowing cold! Remember back then there wasn’t good heating in homes so they only had the glass windows so if they closed the shutters over the windows to keep out the cold! I wish I had asked my daddy when he was alive! In New Orleans the shutters were there to protect windows from breaking when they had bad storms! Now they just put ply wood over the windows to keep the windows from being broken in blowing debris.
Interesting! Thanks for watching!
I just visited Graceland. Awesome place. The best thing I observed was the smell of aged wood and carpet and fabric when I entered the front doors. I was expecting obnoxious plug air fresheners or over powering cleaner smells.
YESSS!! The my favorite part! 🙌
Do you think they will ever open up the upstairs to the public ?Seems to me that is the other half of the curiosity people have about Graceland.
My guess is no. There’s only one way in and one way out so unless they change the access, the fire marshal couldn’t approve it for tours
@@ashleysadventures I completely forgot about that …
Not sure, like in a cloud on the edge
Are there any pics of the billiards room before it was remodeled?
Not publicly that I’ve seen
Could it be Elvis' s Uncle Vester standing in the doorway of Graceland looking on at Elvis?
In the pic on the beginning? I can’t tell
Ashley it's been awhile since I seen a such an avid fan of Elvis. Can you suggest a restaurant that he or you would like that's nearby GRACELAND.
Thanks for watching! Try Marlowe's BBQ, an Elvis themed restaurant that Elvis did visit. on Elvis Presley Blvd
@@ashleysadventures do you live near there, you are some one I'd like to meet. I am heading to St. Louis MO soon and was considering going to Graceland. Anyway email me some time at Extrm41@gmail.com.
Are the stairs to the jungle room sealed off? When I went to Graceland in 84, you got to the jungle room from the basement stairs.
It’s the same way except you can see the jungle room from the kitchen, which was closed until the 90’s
Circled is the dining room window
Circled is the dining room window...
Hey are you going to be at the dojo grand opening Aug 14th???!
Me? No, I am not associated with those people whatsoever
@@ashleysadventures I’m sorry I didn’t know. I was hoping I would get to see you in Memphis that weekend. I love your videos.
