The last thing I can imagine the victims of Titanic would want is for more lives to be lost at the sake of glimpsing at a rusty wreck. The history of the 1912 event was wrought with its own blunders, oversight and hubris - and that led to more rigorous maritime engineering standards for a reason. Heather doesn't interrupt his stories and asks questions related to his personal experience, Michael says her name during the interview multiple times and listens to her questions as though he's speaking to her instead of a potential audience, just lovely interview etiquette on both their parts.
