    Great video. I'd love you to do a Notion walkthrough as I find it one of the most confusing and difficulty apps to use.

    I just made my iPad mini grayscale using the accessibility in settings. Makes me want to watch lessons do more. Also less eye strain for some reason. I initially was thinking of getting an onyx Boox but was hesitating because of my initial experience with e-ink a decade ago and I didn’t a]want to have to a headache returning it. Long story short, the grayscale thing seems to be doing wonders.

    I owned a 256gb, Cellular, Space Gray Mini--it was AWSOME! I only sold it, because I needed more space and I missed the Magic Keyboard. The portability was amazing. Get the 256gb cellular. You won't regret it.

      I want to get the ipad mini 6 256 cellular but am holding off on it since there should be a new ipad mini within the next 365 days and I would rather wait on the spec bumps.
      Since you have used the most recent ipad mini, what would you want in terms of upgrades in a new upcoming ipad mini?

      @@rAnge4Bl0w The number one problem with ANY device this small , is no one thinks OUT OF THE BOX. I wish there were a keyboard case--like the Magic Keyboard. There ARE, but the assumption for most of them, is that the case. has to be THE SAME SIZE as the tablet, which for me is stupid. The Tablet just has to fit within the case. The case can be larger for a larger keyboard. Everyone tries to make a case THE EXACT SAME SIZE as the tablet itself. The keyboard will FOREVER be tiny and unusable. Which means you have to carry a separate keyboard to get any real work done. This was the number one problem I found.

    • @DavidMussington
      @DavidMussington 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LinuxHurtsThere are plenty of 68 per cent and smaller Bluetooth keyboards that can be had for use with the mini. No need to stick with the specific form factor of the device. And portability is still feasible.

    With same size, I’d want the iPad Mini 7 to be thinner and lighter with pro features, much improved screen and audio. Then, I’ll ditch all my tablets for it.

    So this will never be read by anyone, as it's now 9+ months since the vid was published. Still, I'd like to say that I WOULD HAVE liked to have watched it, as I'm gathering info about the ipad mini at the mo, but that persistent background NOISE, with a 2-second CLACK, made it impossible to listen for more than a couple of minutes. Pity.......

    • @vincentbaker3681
      @vincentbaker3681 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I’m here watching it on my iPad and the speakers aren’t pointed at me like how the iPhone does so the clack noise fades. Pretty solid content and information tho, I wish you got a chance to watch it tho, maybe try without headphones or without the volume being too loud, wishing you the best!

    Setting up tablets to replace laptops and PC are mainly for novelties. The amount of peripherals and accessories needed for the setup can already acquire an iPad Pro or a decent MacBook Air. I use tablets mainly for the handwriting experience and sketching. I never use it on tasks that are well suited for laptops and PCs like photo and video editing.

    I still use my mini 5, I wish the bring back the old design but with no home button, but only the thin body and rounded edges with a laminated screen and the latest chipset… would be nice. Don’t forget the magnet for the pencil 😊😊😊 is that too much to ask, haha

    • @ark.curate
      @ark.curate  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on how you'll use it! If you're editing on it, it might not do. But if you're primarily using it for content consumption and note taking, then 64GB is quite alright.

    I'm confused. Doesn't Apple Notes have the same functionality as Notion but I see people using Notion over Apple Notes. Why? They look the same to me and if you're already in the Apple ecosystem with a really good note-taking app, why use another note-taking app?

    • @ark.curate
      @ark.curate  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I see your point, but I can’t really agree that Notion is the same. Apple Notes is great for linear note taking, but Notion offers more functions to add more details for project management.

    • @ajwalker4416
      @ajwalker4416 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ark.curate I guess that's where I'm stuck. Can't Apple Notes be set up like the folders in Notion? Or is it that Notion has those things pre-made so that makes it easier? I'm only asking because I don't know, I'm not trying to troll you or anything. Especially since Apple Notes is free while Notion has a subscription price. If iI have to put in a little more work to set up the free version I can save the monthly sub price or is the sub price worth it to you even over the free alternative?

    • @ark.curate
      @ark.curate  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ajwalker4416 I actually just use the free version at the moment. The paid one is great for collaborations and other functions such as creating Team Pages. Within Notion, you can have Pages and within those pages, you can create different elements such as tables, kanban boards, etc. I guess it will entirely depend on your use case and how you want to utilize the software to your needs. To me, it's an awesome platform for project management and scheduling tasks. Hope this helps!

    • @ajwalker4416
      @ajwalker4416 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ark.curate Thanks for that answer. I think it's because I don't have projects to manage, only ideas to be captured and stored. Google Tasks handles my actual "tasks."

    • @TheTommyCraft
      @TheTommyCraft หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ajwalker4416I also only use the free version of Notion to run my businesses. Notes works quite well, but Notion has a vastly superior document linking system for lack of a better way to word it. For example say I have an idea for a photo shoot. I’ll create a new Page for that shoot, similar to a note in Apple Notes. I can make headings, add lists, drag in links, and both handle them about the same. I decide I need a car for my shoot, and I want to keep track of potential cars and their owner’s contact info. In Notion, I can nest a new page right here and freely move back and forth making the data more logically separated. In Notes I’d have to either keep using the headers and section and just make the one note really long, or make a new note and create a folder to keep them together in. That’s a minor example anyway, but if you haven’t you should download Notion and try it. Their intro tutorial is excellent.
