FACTS. I've been saying this. On Discord/FB there's a lot of broke trolls who claim "iTs jUsT BaSe sEt RePrINts BrO" when it's clearly not. These decks are full of absolute fire. Plus the Japanese was only available thru limited lottery, you won't catch them at a Gamestop. I picked up 2 boxes already and want more!!

For the "coin flipper", pretty sure the white holes are both heads and the "black" holes are both tails. The even distribution makes for a cleaner 50/50 chance at either for a single ball roll.
@20:17, I just noticed that both Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan are in each other's background. Something I never caught onto the first time. Love the gold holo and nostalgia of this box.
The Japanese version of this product is sooooooooooooooo pretty. The gold holo pattern needs to be seen more.
The gold holo border is such a nice touch, the English version is crazy for charging that much without the aesthetics to the cards.
It's called the TCG Classic because that's what the classic cards looked like.

@Stocky3 damn, I was seriously considering picking this up just because of how cool these versions of the cards are. Maybe just pick up the JPN versions. That's so lame!
They need to keep making those clear sleeves for the etbs instead of the matte ones imo. I’d love to use the sleeves but I just hate the way the matte makes the cards look 🙃

The white rings signify “heads” and the blank spaces for the balls signify “tails” so you can do two “coin flips” simultaneously! Great video man 👌
You wouldn't want to do them at the same time, it would significantly decrease your odds.

Wow, I was not expecting so many amazing cards, I thought it was just the 3 starters and really fancy boxes!
I wish to get my hands on this product! The playmat, sleeves, and the gold border, everything! Love the art work of every single card of the deck.
I wish the english set had the same holo pattern. But it doesnt its actually a very big difference TBH and makes me prefer the japanese set way more.
It's a "classic collection". It's based off the vintage cards. It would be weird for them to go with a japanese design on the english set. The yellow border is "classic", and imo, AMAZING!
Love the sets for people that actually play TCG.
Man this brings back so many memories I remember my friends in Elementary School having a Charizard and me not being able to pull it I was so jealous it's so cool seeing them bringing these iconic cards back having these would be a treasure to pass down as collection

That box looks clean 🔥 Paradox Rift might be my favourite Scarlet and Violet set. The future and ancient cards look really interesting. It is a big set but can't wait to see you complete the set. ❤
Every time I see that Charizard card a piece of my heart dies. Short story is that I used to have a 1st Edition Holo Charizard when I was in Elementary and as a kid I didn't have a binder, but I had sleeves. Forgot they were in my pants pocket one day and my mom did my laundry...
Still awesome to see what surprises you get in each pack for me coming back from Ancient times.
If it makes you feel any better, it would be all bent up and crappy being you kept it in your pants pocket and handled it all the time lol

@@chexnfx7161 I had hard plastic sleeves at the time, so it might be the corners and edges if I still had it. I also have my cards that I saved from that time period and they're still in good condition, def not 10s though.

The Halloween Booster bundle got me back into collecting cards. Took a couple boxes to some Halloween parties and they were a huge hit. This box set looks super sick, especially for old fans like me that never got all the OG cards.

The cards bring back memories for me, I was a teen when they first came out and I used to collect them. As I got older I traded them for a skateboard and I could kick myself seeing how much the first gen cards are going for now 😂

Actually its worth it for $400. All cards are holo foils, and they are so pretty, high quality, and 180 cards total. (I think a deck is 60, and there are three decks)
This set is legit. It's proof they can have quality products.
The cards in those decks are absolutely awesome! I'll definitely have to pick them up individually at some stage! I only wish the Lugia and Ho-Oh/Suicune were reprints from Neo Genesis and Neo Revelation, that would have been insane. I love how it's not just base set reprints too, it's so cool seeing all the other eras as well!
First when this was announced I thought the price tag was too much but when you collect cards this is a must have for any collector
I personally love reprints, just like how they still make Jordan 1’s. Some people love the era and want to relive it.

This box is absolutely stunning. I definitely prefer the Japanese version. I was going to stay away from tbis box due to the price, but now im definitely keeping an eye on it!

I believe you can still use the Energy Cards, but otherwise you're right. Those cards can't be used in tournament play.

Hey, I started watching your videos about a month and love the content. I grew up collecting the original set and dropped off soon after but after discovering my old set and watching your videos, I purchased my first booster set in about 20 years with the Japanese Pokémon 151 set. My wife and I are expecting our first child later this year and your family has inspired me to get back into the hobby and hopefully pass it down to my kids! Keep up the great content!

Why did i love the sleeves so much? they are like so simple but just right too.
9:24 the ones with the white details are heads and the black ones are tails. Each player has their own metal ball and when they need to use a coin they throw their own ball.
I remember in the late 90s and early 2000s their were a bunch of fake cards that look like stickers and they had this same patterns. That’s how you knew the cards were fake. I guess everything comes full circle.
I was thinking exactly this! I had found a deck of fake Yugioh cards in America when i was a kid that was stacked entirely with overpowered super rares and they all had the same full card cheap glittery gold holo patterns like these!
The Japanese cards ALWAYS have the best holo patterns. Those reverse digiholo cards recently are 🔥

I’d say the two white outlines could be heads, and no outline could be tails. Something like that
I believe the holes with the arches indicate heads and the holes without indicate tails.

Rev, the holes with the white trim indicate heads and the holes with no trim indicate tales. You onoy roll one marble to simulate a coin flip.
Wow, I started collecting a little less than a month ago and need to find that box. I honestly can care less for the table, but it allows me to get my hands on the Big 3. Pokemon came out when I was a kid and really wish I started back then

I may buy this as someone that got out of cards and sold them during the covid boom, just to have one thing in my collection that i love and has the og reason i loved this hobby. As a centerpiece collectable.
Common sense would say the 2 holes with the white marks are heads and the 2 without are tails.
Honestly the most this should be sold for is $200. Yes they are reprinted original cards but it’s only three decks and some fancy packaging/stuff for the game
Where can you find the prices for the individual cards? I can only find celebration cards.
