Thank you for the advice on not muddling colours Amie, it is so easy to become a slave to one style of blending when a technique works so well, such as over using that white pencil.

Exactly! I was stuck in a rut of using warm/cool grey as a base and as soon as I switched it up....so much more vibrant portraits!
