    Yeah, that first pistol was definitely a Makarov, and by the red Bakelite handles it was manufactured in Bulgaria. Makarovs were standard issue to police in most Eastern Block countries. Several years ago they upgraded to something else and the old ones got bought up in huge lots and sold overseas, mostly to America I think.

Scary as hell to watch you throw one of those on the ground as I knew what it was (seen many a cannisters pulled out of creeks and rivers and was taught to always be weary of the ones with intact fuses as they could still detonate).

    Also Fun fact: canon balls can not actually explode but we’re instead made to be fired in a straight line at the target or at the most effective angle to do as much damage as possible without actually exploding and do not contain any way to explode the one’s that do explode are the ones that were shot out of mortars that looked like small stuby canons that were only able to aim up towards the sky and down to about the height of a 12ft tall persons head and only the top of their head but slightly higher and were really big and heavy and another type of canon ball was not actually considered a canon ball at all but instead a small handheld canon ball that was used as a grenade!.

      And here's an "actual" fun fact, these thing's can explode and have exploded. A lot of these actually have firing fuses in them much like a actual grenade. So no, I don't know where you heard that from but it's completely wrong. These thing's can and will explode if you mess with them. You think that army dude was just saying that because he doesn't know what he's talking about? Another fun fact, even if the powders wet once it dries it still is good as ever.

    • @alexandarcecil8212
      @alexandarcecil8212 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Wrong gunpowder is actually becomes a nonflammable/explosive when it’s been wet and then dried out because it becomes deteriorated and no longer a threat same thing if it’s sat in one place for a really long time I would know I have gunpowder and that is literally how it works so yeah I know what I’m talking about plus if you actually do the research you’ll find that I’m right because there is literally proof and past documentation of blueprints and everything else about said devices and ammo because canon balls are literally solid balls of iron or steel and or zinc and were mostly used to shoot straight through structures and forts and army’s in battle to do as much damage as possible in one shot to get maximum effectiveness out of the ammo that they had back in the early to late 1500s to the 1700s or 1500s to 1600s/1800s!.

      Cannonballs do NOT explode......A round shell with explosives inside and a fuse is NOT a cannonball. A cannonball is a SOLID round piece of metal where a Shell is HOLLOW.
      Cannonballs were fired with force from Cannons by Infantry(Think bowling using humans as pins with devastating results) and also early Warships.
      These type of round shells have not been made in at least 100 years....as they are now Mortars and other new age designs.

I'd love to have one irl (of course in 9x18 as intended), cause they're pretty damn rare these days since the foreign imports ban. Also at 14:22 you really just point that gun at your buddy, don't do that. Despite corrosion, there have been incidents where they have gone off after years underwater.
