Nice. Love from Land of Gurkhas "Nepal"

As an elderly Singaporean and during my younger days I observed these Gurkhas SPF officers were most reliable in their line of duty.
I have come to learn that those who had returned to Nepal had found it very difficult to adjust to the dreary backward life there especially the
children who had a comfortable and happy life in SG. Now that SG is considered wealthy could our leaders grant these children (who are
adults now) to return to SG and be granted residency and be allowed to contribute their share by working in the civilian sector of our society.

Speciality of Gurkhas, the are gentle & friendly natured, at the same time they are the fiercest fighter and very honest & loyal by nature

I would say they are politically neutral. That is plus point

They would lose their purpose otherwise. They are there purely as neutral force if riot starts. If they are allowed to settle then they would create another community and lose their neutrality. I guess the reason for not allowing them to settle is valid.

Chandu Chandu but they get hefty pensions and financial support

Convenient eyh? Countries should stop exploiting Nepal for Gurkha soldiers.
Which other countries are selling out their citizens? Even the government has tried to stop but failed.
They are sent to die in Afghanistan/Iraq and to other countries to protect you. Maybe singaporeans should rely on their own army rather than hiring mercenaries

    • @TheZachary86

      keith lee
Lol, so your soldiers are for “counter terrorism” only? While you use Gurkhas for frontline meat shields? Bravo +1 for Singapore cowardice.
And yes I am complaining on UK, India, Brunei etc. These lads are shipped worldwide in service of a foreign power.
What other countries have chosen to do this? It’s a shameful thing. Gurkha regiment is still a product of colonialism wrapped up by nice packaging of “fierce and loyal” soldiers

Not 16 or 17 the Nepalese gurkha can join the nepal or indian or British army or Singapore police only after they turn 18 first research about them properly and we gurkhas are not your very own because we can only be yours if we were citizens of Singapore but we are not

    • @Rebelass74
      @Rebelass74 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

What the fuck you talking about? It’s only recently the rule was changed to 18. 16, 17 were allowed to join before and even after the rule change I know many who lied about being 18 and joined at 16.
And also no one forced us to join. You can make a pretty good living from a good Singapore police career. Off course they are Singapore’s own Gurkha police. They pay their wages, not the Nepali government.
