I still dislike when Christians try to be like "Atheist just got destroyed" because it makes it seem as we are the bad guys for trying to spread the Gospel. I like it when an Atheist and a Christian can have a civil discussion not just a debate. I had a friend who would always scream out his answers and was an atheist, I have not talked to him in a while we are still friends but his disrespectful behavior has always lead me to learn not to be disrespectful towards him. If you put 100 lesbian couples and 100 gay male couples and 100 normal couples on 3 separate islands, never to meet or communicate with each other or the outside world, for 100 years, with all the necessary food. Go back and see which island still has people alive on it. THAT is natural law.
Natural law doesn’t determine morality? The natural law in animals do all types of things we think are immoral. And also would you then say if a man gets married to a women who is infertile that is immorally wrong then?
@@Nynya11362 natural law is evidence for a higher law. Gods standards would be the true moral authority/framework. Is it wrong for a man to lust after his wife? Lust in the context of marriage is not wrong provided it is part of love making between husband and wife. It is natural for the husband and wife to desire each other.
I have loved men and been in-love with men without a sexual relationship. It was a love based on my desire to care for that person above all else, to want the very best for their well being and happiness.

In short, the "Love is love" mantra is an equivocation. It equates "Love as wanting the best for another" with "Love as fulfilling my own desires, even at the expense of another".
@@isheworthy You evidently do not understand how Koine Greek works! Agape love is love based on principle, romantic love is Eros, the former (Agape) has nothing to do with a so-called "romantic attraction"! God, in the beginning set the standard of morality, what is good and what is bad, right and wrong! Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities were all destroyed because of their gross sexual immorality and perversions of what is natural! The world we now live is a world-wise Sodom and Gomorrah, it's even affecting children and grandchildren!
And love is not sex. Sex is an expression of love. Love comes from the heart not the loins. I may be attracted to someone but I choose to not have sex with them because I'm married. Sex is a choice from lust not love.
Many people equates physical sexual attraction to love. Whereas agape is love that is pure and perfect the love of God. Your program is always helpful. Thank you
@@akhoyhokha5072 Excellent point, I 100% agree that Agape is the highest and most perfect form of love - the unconditional love of God. I think it’s interesting that in this discussion neither pastor offered the traditional biblical scholar’s lesson of the “three types of love” as a basis for explaining why homosexuality is a sin. Neither used the traditional “Eros, Philos, and Agape lesson” in this clip, but both seemed to communicate the truth very effectively with good result.
@@c5back9 - Homosexuality is a normal, healthy, attraction found in some people. It is biologically normative, although not as prevalent as heterosexuality. Made-up creation stories, vilification of relationships using First Century mores, allowing Northeast African tribal cultures from long ago to dictate his we behave today, is unhealthy for a modern, growing people.
@akhoyhokha5072 that's why the Greek language gives specific definitions for four types of love. They aren't the same and should not be treated as such. In English we say "love" and the meaning is taken from context. I can say that I love my brother and I love my wife and because of context we can *kind of* make the accurate distinction. Specifying the type of love meant removes the ambiguity that a lot of people seem to misunderstand.
Glad you play the clip-agree her question was not answered- he was making opinion statements-the Holy Bible would have help him to answer her questions-much babbling on his part😊❤
Woman who's attracted to women here 🙋♀️ have been all my life but I know that it would be a sin to act on that so I dont act on it, simple. As a teen I thought I was a lesbian as I've got older I've realised I like men like God made me to and now I have 3 sons 😁 I'm so happy God steered me away from that particular sin or I would have missed out on the blessing of children.
How do you know your god exists and steered you away from anything? Why did your god make you bisexual to begin with? Why is it ok for straights to “act upon it” but not other sexual orientations?
Yes but a heterosexual man is attracted to women. Christians often conflate attraction with sex. The Bible says that we should choose to not have sex before or outside of marriage but we are sexually pure inside of marriage. However, these are parameters for sex, not that we are created with attractions to people. What this woman is asking is why did GOD create her with not only attraction for women but a lack of attraction to men? As a heterosexual man GOD created me with attraction to women and a lack of attraction to men. A homosexual is created with an attraction for the same sex and a lack of attraction for the opposite sex. See what Christians do is they never address the core of this topic. Let's say the Bible said I had to marry a man to be godly. Yet I am only attracted to women and have no attraction to men, then I have very few choices. Marry someone I am not attracted to, or desire, or be forced to remain single never which only the outside appears that I am godly since I still have lustful thought and desire, longings for companionship, and love. What Christians need to do is deal with the idea that GOD has created people who have no attraction to the opposite sex. And we know forced celibacy has a horrific history. Many Western Christians sadly have been lying about this topic for years because the truth is simply to difficult. First, regardless of sexual orientation you either have Jesus or you don't. If we are talking to people who don't have Jesus, then to talk to them about Jesus. When reading the Bible what many Christians neglect to see is the context of any "homosexual" passages. In Leviticus 18 it says Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God. Romans 1:7 To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: GOD is speaking only to His Children, those who are called by His name. So if the people we are talking to aren't His children (Believers) then we have no business even having this conversation in fact then our job is to share the Gospel. If we are talking to Christians then Jesus has washed them clean 1 Cor 6:11 But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. And we have faith that GOD will complete the work He has begun in them. 6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; Morality will never save you ONLY Jesus can and none of us are moral. And immorality will never condemn us because without Jesus we are already condemned. John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. What far too many Christian have done is made Christianity another man-made religion. The enemy has used this topic to wreck the Church and it's sad to watch. While Christians are focused on this topic, they fail to see the world is marching to global war and economic collapse. They fail to see that the LORD over the last 4 years is collapsing the West including America not because of the Lost but because His people are wicked. 2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. In my 30 years as a Christian I have never seen the Church adopt so many heresies. Christians claim to preach the truth but can't define what salvation is or how it's obtained. Is it by faith alone or faith+ can it be lost or is it once saved always saved? Also, Christians keep trying to tie morality to salvation which is anti-biblical. The reason Jesus died is because morality can't save us. Every doctrine is in dispute, there is no truth in the Church anymore and yet Christians are blind to it. And we wonder why we see Pastors and leaders caught in scandals. It's because morality and self-righteousness is the god of the day not Jesus.
Loving another women is not adultery. You should love all women even when you're married. Sex outside of marriage is adultery. As Christians we need to stop calling sex love because it's not. Love is always beautiful, sex is not.
When I was young, I became a drug addict, it was a selfish love. I loved how the drug made me feel. However, the fruit of that love almost killed me and destroyed my relationships with family and those that loved me. It took Gods love to free me of this evil kind of love. He restored my health and my relationship with my family and friends. Praise God most high. True love gives and cares little about what is in it for them. It is a selfless love.
So how did God appreciate that in the name of his son Jesus, Christians have slaughtered 2 million people in the last 2000 years in religious wars and the crusades ? How, according to the Bible, God is ok with the fact that 6 billion people who do not believe in Jesus are actually doomed ?
@@wh1teshoes I didn’t say anything about beliefs I was making a distinction based on the English lexicon. Heterosexuals are as guilty of the confusion of definitions. And you can’t just change the definitions of words because of your personal beliefs.
Most people do not even know what true love is. True love is NOT a feeling. It is self sacrificial and involves total commitment even when you don't feel like it.
Similarly, I think a lot of religious people assume that when someone speaks of his/her same-sex desires, he/she is only viewing it through a sexual lens and not a romantic one.
@@mcspinixvids3875 romance is not love either. If u don't love God first u can't love others. If we die in what God calls sin we die eternally rather than living eternally

Seems to all boil down to a fundamental misunderstanding and/or disagreement about what “love” is. Love is not merely passive affection, but active devotion. Therefore, love is necessarily a choice (despite the culture insisting otherwise). @@amandavieira2543I’m sorry you have this perspective of God because it’s the furthest thing from the truth. God loves you and all of us more than we can imagine, but because of sin and our sinful nature, it inherently separates us from Him. In order to get us back under His care & salvation, we have to make the choice now to accept His salvation meaning that He now accepts us as we are. You said true love is about acceptance and not judging - that’s the point of Jesus Christ. “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1) Meaning we don’t have to stay in bondage to our sin, but are now given the opportunity to be free. I hope this helped you.
God does not direct people to sin, she just wants to be validated in her choices. God is the source of Love and there is no sin in God. Love is not sinful, if something is sinful it is NOT Love. What is called love by the World if sinful is just Selfishness, a perversion of God's Love.
God created Angels too, but they aren’t bound by the same commandments as humans. It’s often those who call out others' sins the ones who are dealing with their own.
Thanks for this video. I knew that love can be sinful and our passions can lead us to sin, but this gave me a better understanding of what is God's love and how to better explain it to others. I'm constantly learning and amazed by what I find. Thank you for making these videos. They help me a lot.

The love of money is the root of all evil. l Timothy 6:10 The problem with the world is that they believe love has a direct connection to sexual activities.
@@QueenQaffir I did not post sex equates to love. My statement was love has a direct connection to sexual activities. The love the woman was referring to in the video was a love between two adults. Each adult loves the other person and they have a sexual relationship. Lesbians and homosexual males engage in sexual activity. The world can not identify with two adults loving each other and there not being sexual activity between the two adults. My comment was made within the context of the video. In the video she was discussing two adults that loved each other and not a sexual relationship with a prostitute or some woman a man picked up at a bar or some woman that agreed to have casual sex with a man.
@@brisbanekilarny6212 u said the problem was they believe love has a direct connection to sexual activities. I then said that describes women, not men. Homosexuality is as wrong as a straght person committing adultery. In fact the Bible talks more about straight adultery than homosexuality, but both are sins and should be avoided because ultimately these sins harm us.
Correct and heterosexual hook-up culture is under the same judgement. Also pornography being of hetero or homo type as well. A lot of married Christian men struggle with pornography. Lust is a very tough thing to deal with for any human. All this needs to be repented of for our eternal benefit.
@@trajanfidelis i think you are not reading your bible right. homosexuality it one of the great sins that if you read more God himself commanded complete genocide anyone even remotely connected to it. You know complete destruction even to 2nd generation. Basically God is saying Homos do not have the right to exist.
I pray you find Jesus. What's sad is that whatever your view is it's certainly not biblical it's American. In 1 Cor 6:9-11 Paul writes 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [b]homosexuals, nor [c]sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. Notice you write "homosexuality" which is a verb but Paul writes "Homosexual" which is a noun. This is a massive problem for Christians today. They claim on the trans issue and DEI that GOD has made us male and female and we can't change it. That I am a white man that can't choose to be a black man that I am a heterosexual (Noun) that is attracted to women and I can't change that. Well a homosexual which is the word Paul uses is someone who is created to be attracted to the same sex, but is also not attracted to the opposite sex (otherwise they'd be bisexual). See the lie you believe is that people engage in "homosexuality" a verb, just as people engage in "adultery" a verb. But Paul uses nouns not verb. As a heterosexual man I am attracted to women and have no attraction to men. I can choose to have sex (verb) with women but not change my attraction to them. This is why marriage exists. We are instructed to not have sex before or outside of marriage. So Paul in 1 Cor 7 writes. 8 But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am; 9 but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion. Now is this the ideal for marriage? No. But it is acceptable. So here' the problem that Christians have. This women is trying to ask why did GOD create me to be attracted to women and not men? It's like if the Bible said I had to marry a man, except I'm not at all attracted to men. We also see a number of Christians who believe in Jesus who are not attracted to the opposite sex. The hypocrisy of Western Christianity is that first it lies all the time on this topic and it creates a doctrine of hypocrisy. As a heterosexual man who desires a help-mate, love, companionship for life, and yes sex, I am attracted to women. Now the Bible says then get married. However if I was a homosexual man who desires a help-mate, love, companionship for life and yes sex, Christians say the Bible forbids me to get married. Christians create a hypocritical doctrine. This is why Christians for a long time claimed that everyone was born heterosexual and chose to engage in homosexual sex. Yet over the last 30 years there have been a number of Christians who are gay after salvation. And Paul uses the noun not a verb. So what many Christians have done is a sleight of hand deception. They will say you can be gay just don't engage in homosexual sex. Which ignores the reality of attraction. Look at how many families and marriages have been destroyed when people try to be attracted to the opposite sex but aren't to keep up social appearances. What is Paul saying in 1 Cor 6? 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? This is a question we should all be able to answer. It's all of us, we are all unrighteous. Paul later clarifies this in 1 Cor 15: 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Paul is saying that as mortal imperfect people, which inMatthew 5 Jesus defines all of us who have ever had a lustful thought which is adulterers as unrighteous, means none of us will enter the Kingdom of GOD without Him. So Paul shows us all that we are all unrighteous NOUNS. It's not what we do verbs, it's who we are. But in verse 11 he gives us the ONLY hope we have. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. Morality will never save someone, just as immorality will never condemn someone. John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. We are condemned because we are flesh and blood. Only Jesus offers us eternal life, 1 Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a [m]mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Christians need to stop worrying about who people are sleeping with and focus on Jesus. Another lie Christians believe is that the mess we see in our nations is because of the lost. It's not. It's because of the wickedness of Christians. 2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. What's sad for me to watch is how so many Christians can't tell the truth from the lies.

In the past 2 years, I've noticed more people coming to church, studying the bible, and converting. I travel around the U.S. and attend several Catholic churches consistently and have noticed an awakening. I've also noticed this is happening with people online like Jordan Peterson, Russell Brand, Candace Owens, and many others.
I love how Augustine states it, disorder love. Love is from God and God is love on top of other things. However, because of sin we can have disordered love which causes us to sin. By salvation we can have a reordered love to God although we aren't perfect by faith, we can have a restored and reordered love for God.
If a person truly loved the person of the same sex, they would not want to lead them into sin,but lead them into a relationship with the Creator. Leading them away from God is evil, not love.
I’ve watched both of these videos in entire context and they both do a good job of addressing it from their own area of expertise. However, one thing that is left out is WHAT is meant from the questioner by “LOVE”. Because English is very limited and if we’re looking to scriptures about what it says about “love” then we need to know what “love” agape, philo, eros, etc? Love being love can work in God’s order if it’s agape or philo, but in eros (God has a specific nartural order for that form of “love”). If we are following God’s order for love, love cannot be sinful, if it is it is NOT love His at all.
Check out Rosaria Butterfield, Jackie Perry, Christopher Yuan. They answer the question much better. maybe because they came out of homosexuality. blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Only God can judge us and only God will bring true Grace. This woman knows herself as the seed she was born as. No preacher or teacher can tell her differently. One day she will face God and I imagine her saying “Here I am, as I am, with all my confusion and longing-and I trust you, God, to meet me here.” The confusion comes from people, not from her knowing. Praying for her made me cry with this realization of the weight of love and grace. There’s something incredibly tender about the idea of someone, perhaps with their heart heavy, coming to God and saying, “I don’t know how to change this part of me, and I don’t even know if I should, but I love, and I trust you, God, to understand me better than I understand myself.” That is faith: bringing all that we are-our joys, our love, our uncertainty, our flaws and trusting that God’s grace will cover us. I will ask the same, as a straight woman. Many teachers and preachers have more of the heavy approach. While I understand the need for this, it’s unbalanced and it seems they haven’t been touched in the same way. I prefer someone like Serene Jones personally and I think this woman would benefit from speaking to her more than this teacher, as much as I respect him and his position. I don’t think the preacher answered this either. He starts by saying there are many interpretations in the word “world” but doesn’t consider the context of the times for homosexuality (which was often in public, promiscuous and hedonistic rather than in a relationship). If two same sex people follow God as two straight people do, only God can judge. This preacher may be judged for his judgment but nobody is making a video about that. We are all God’s children. God bless ❤
@@Fungkatron the Bible is never changing. Just like God and His expectations. God has never said it is okay for same sex relationships, and He never will. Trying to say “the context of the times”, is irrelevant otherwise you would then be saying “adultery is fine given the context of the times” and so on and so forth. Where will it end? It won’t. There’s a wonderful video of a trans man & gay man who got married and found God. Thankfully, their marriage ultimately is a testament to God’s glory & grace, since they are a heterosexual couple who found God and allowed him to change their lives completely. Ultimately you can have feelings you don’t act on. It’s the act that is the sin, not the feeling. Just like it’s watching pornography that is a sin, not the initial thought to do so. And saying God thought being gay was wrong because it’s “hedonistic” is completely ignoring God’s standard that he set in Eden, a wife for a man as a complement to him. To be gay, IS STILL hedonistic because you are self-serving your own desires to not listen to God’s standards and to please yourself instead. Fundamentally it’s hedonistic, just like drunkenness and gluttony. And 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 tells us love is not selfish, among other things. And the apostle Paul continually tells us we need to put others needs ahead of our own so as not to stumble them. Good luck on your journey, but maybe you need to re-read God’s Word a little more carefully.
Love is a morally neutral thing. It is not good or bad. "Love is love" thus means nothing at all- as Vodie said, the object of our love determines whether it is good or bad.
Several years ago I had an assistant manager that was atheist and most liberal give me and my workers a long disortation on how NOBODY had any right to dictate how another person should enjoy sex! She was extremely passionate and agitated to say the least. I just let her rant for about 15 minutes, biding my time. Finally as she started to wind down a bit, also she had a male husband, I innocently asked her one question. What about 60 year old men and 5 year old boys? She lost it! Screaming, I knew you were going to go there, turned around and stormed off agitated to a high degree! Amazing how the Holy Spirit can give us the right thing to say when we need it. God is Awesome!
The issue with being young is that every feeling seems right yet as we grow older and through the Holy Spirit who convicts we understand that many of our feelings are not righteous so where do we seek righteousness? Regardless of sexual orientation righteousness can only come through a sinless sacrifice.

I “fell in love” with a freshman girl who didn’t like me even a little bit (she’s black but that’s not why she didn’t like me) and I told myself it was okay because at least she’s a female and I’m still straight. Well in this case, even a straight “love” was sinful because she didn’t want it and it made her uncomfortable. I couldn’t wish away my feelings but I shouldn’t have acted on them, which was wherein the sin lay. Even though I never touched her, it was still wrong. I got married years later to someone completely different.
In these debates, it's important to recognize that people often confuse their sexual orientation with their identity. Being attracted to the opposite sex doesn't define who you are-there are many other aspects to our lives. If someone asks who I am, I wouldn’t immediately define myself by my sexual orientation. Similarly, things like addiction, alcoholism, or even the desire for multiple partners aren’t who you are-they’re drives or tendencies you might have. When you act on them, it becomes a visible sin. The issue arises when you criticize the sin, and the other person feels like you're attacking their whole identity because they've attached the sin to who they are. It’s like criticizing me for an addiction, and I get offended, taking it personally, as though you’re attacking my very being. Debating this way can get really tricky.
Love is pure by definition, but you are looking at what we do or feel as defining love. Love is already defined. If we “love” we are sacrificing without personal benefit

I think another very large component of the resistance to accepting Jesus Christ is that humans act as though one sin is worse than another when we all know, if we’ve read the Bible, that that is not true. ALL SIN is abhorrent to the Lord our God. We as humans who will inevitably fall short of the glory of God need to come together to understand that the sin of all kinds is EQUAL, there is no LESSER. Example coveting your neighbors wife or the sin of murder and the sin of homosexuality are all equal. So just because one person struggles with homosexuality but another struggles with drug addiction or another person struggles with coveting their neighbors wife, those people are exactly the same in the eyes of God. We forget this, and so there is perceived judgment on one side or the other. If we can pray for that perception to fade, and find LOVE in CHRIST FIRST, I truly believe that breakthrough is possible. Anything is possible in God. JESUS I pray for all of us to find You, and know You .
Very tough subject. And it's not out of being selective or biased one direction ot another, but the command to love and not to judge overwhelms any thoughts of holding homisexuality against someone. I'm a sinner. I have lust problems and I have committed terrible sins involving marriages.. plural and not just my own. I have been unfailingly unfaithful in my life. And I struggle with forgiving myself even though I believe God has. All this before answering Him of course, but im still a sinner. So, how can I judge anyone? Hold something against them when I know they were born that way? As a straight, God fearing man, any excuse I find to condem someone else, is simply a judgment I'm not worthy to make.

@Metal-Nine11 Thank you for sharing a small portion of your story. I'd like to start by saying that you should not be so hard on yourself. You are a sinner, that much is true... everyone is a sinner, but what separates you from other sinners is that you are a REPENTANT sinner, and you have become a child of God, co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). In as much as you are a sinner, a step you can take to overcome your guilt is to establish your place. You are no longer a slave to sin. You are a child of God. You are born again. This is not said to mitigate or rather trivialise your sinful nature. Rather, it is meant to hold authority over it. It is good to acknowledge being a sinner, but don't internalise it and make it who you are. Because if that's what you make yourself to be, then everything else will flow from it. God holds nothing against you! As for the condemnation part, I wholeheartedly agree. We have no place to condemn. But we are called to judge. Not people of the world, we don't judge them. We give them loving reproach, but we judge fellow believers (1 Corinthians 5:12). This is not worldly judgement which is condemnation as you said, it is godly judgement which convicts. The Holy Spirit convicts and the enemy condemns. Conviction is you saying "you've made a mistake" Condemnation is you saying "you are a mistake" You have the authority to judge fellow believers (EXCLUSIVELY USING THE WORD OF GOD. NOT BY FEELINGS OR THOUGHTS, BY THE TRUTH). So please, don't be too hard on yourself, and don't shy away from giving scripture based reproach because of guilt! God loves you, and I love you too. Take care.💌

It took me over 20 years to understand that I didn’t need to feel shame because as the adult he should have known it was wrong and I was too young to understand. So, which one is right because they can’t both be. Did I seduce my 24 year old neighbor when I was thirteen OR maybe these kids are too young to make irrevocable changes to themselves?
Love should be pure and spiritual. In a spiritual context, love reflects God's love for us, which is unconditional, self-sacrificial, and directed toward the good. It is oriented toward higher values such as compassion, mercy, and mutual understanding. It recognizes that every person is made in the image of God and, therefore, deserves respect and love. True love always implies a willingness to sacrifice, placing the needs of others above our own. This requires effort, prayer, and continual growth in faith so that our love may resemble the love of Christ.

@@AlexReynard God's love, and the love of saints who imitate Him, is pure. For such love, a person's gender is not important. This love does not imply the formation of a couple. What matters here is that every soul, regardless of gender, is beautiful because it is God's creation

The bible is so clear on this issue. It is not the same sex attraction alone that is sinful, but the actions that result from it. But what we as Christians neglect is the Love and Support we must give this person who, despite having these desires, refuses to give in to them. Their life is sad and lonely because loving and making love are beautiful affirmations of love. But these are now self-denied to honour God. A desperately lonely walk. Only eunuchs do not have these issues, Single people all share the burden and loneliness
yes exactly.... some here lack empathy to understand the gravity of this. Like as straight people just imagine you couldnt marry and be intimate to your other sex partner.
Nobody needs sex to be happy. These people are just low order thinkers that act entirely on emotion and instinct. It is the duty of society to judge these people and condemn them for their corrupt degeneracy. Help them stop being evil

I'm a ratlike squealing coward who'd rather follow the rules than accept when God shows me I'm wrong."
Love is Love, & God is Love. The issue here isn't Love. But, rather Lust. People of the same sex that desire to do what a Man & Woman were created to do have a strong desire that is driving them. Which is Lust. You can have a strong desire to cast yourself head first off a cliff, but most won't do it because it doesn't lead to a pleasurable result. The only reason any of this is even in question isn't because of a lack of sufficient evidence that this behavior is out of order. It's because this behavior is pleasurable. If there were severe pain associated with this act, those afflicted would willingly seek repentence. But, because they deem pleasure good & not Truth. Here we are. & Why this issue will only wax worse. The creature was made subject to vanity & will find pleasure within vanity. Whether it be in killing, stealing, molesting, deceiving etc.
I think its best to compare it to like lets say you are a man but were forbidden to be with women. So you either stay single or are with another man you have 0 attraction to. Its called friendship. Like I am a woman but could not imagine being in a relationship with another woman besides friendship. So thats how gay people feel also. They cant imagine being in a relationship with the other gender.
Yep. The problem is with our definition of love and the way we throw the term around. I love your shoes, I love that car. The way Jesus taught love is that it is not directly self serving. A same sex relationship is very self serving. It produces no offspring for the community and God forbid they do bring up children they cannot provide both male and female role models which is unloving considering now the child will have no concept of marital roles or the difference in male & female. They are pleasuring themselves without thought as to how it might affect others around them. The age old question comes to mind: "what if everyone did it?"... If everyone turned homosexual over night the human species would be extinct in 80-100 years. Maybe sooner since there would be no young people to care for the old. It would seem to me that if something is harmful if everyone would do it then it is probably harmful in any instance. Look at history and current societies. The more a society took part in homosexuality the faster it fell apart.

Natural law is what libertarianism and voluntaryism are based upon. It's the idea of first principles that are derived from mutual benefit and arbitrating any intentional, measurable loss for redemption. Self-ownership is the primary principle from which property rights, abolition of slavery, the non-aggression principle, and everything else derives. Secularists often reject self-ownership. That leads to the justification of big government, extortion, abortion, affirmative action, etc.
@@isheworthy in regard to bodily autonomy they have somewhat of an argument to perform an abortion on themselves. However, it runs into a problem when it's demanding a doctor perform it. If a doctor isn't allowed to engage in unnecessary harm, then elective abortion is a violation of that basic ethic. A big problem with the justice system of the government is the lack of the consistency principle.
@@litigioussociety4249 I don't think they have an argument even performing an abortion on themselves: the point is to end the life of the body inside them, so there's a question of when civil rights begin and end. To say after birth seems too close a proximity to the non human argument for blacks in the 1800s. It's a mechanism to erode rights. Forcing doctors to perform it and those opposed to fund it is a couple cherries on top. Perhaps altering the mission of medicine from do no harm to do only harm.
Astute comparison of (according to culture) kids being able to choose a permanent decision like transitioning vs not being able to choose to be in a romantic relationship with a much older person. The Bible mostly represents God as an intentional, evil creator, but it also says earth is flat which we know is false, so it just may not be accurate source of infromation.
I believe part of the problem is they don't understand the word love. Love is not an emotion. You cannot be called to have an emotion yet we are called to love one another. Love is a decision we make, not something we fall into like a cow patty. What this young lady is calling love is actually the emotion known as lust.
100% this. I've said it time and time again, love is a *verb* for a reason. We do, in fact, *choose* who we love. This runs counter to modern ideologies but it's the full truth. We choose who and what we love, which is why we have the ability to remove harmful love from our lives.
I wish I could stand in front of you, and everyone you love, and tell you to your face that it's not real love. Tell you you don't love your Mom. Tell you you don't love your Dad. Tell you you don't love your grandparents, or your pets, or your spouse, or your children, or your friends. Arrogantly insist, as a complete outsider who knows NOTHING of your life, that the love you feel isn't real, just because *I say so.* See if maybe that stings. See if maybe you hate me for saying something so cruel. And then see if it sparks the tiniest bit of empathy in your own bullying heart. [spits on the ground at your feet]

If it hurts you to hear that the love you place your faith in doesn't compare to the love of the Father, or it hurts you to hear that God will send you to hell because you're choosing to go there, then I think it says more about you and your faith than it does about ours. God made himself known through the scriptures. Do we believe in a God so powerful that he made the universe and holds it in motion with immutable laws, and yet can't figure out how to make himself clearly known to all people? Does he wring his hands worrying about how people can know him? NO! He has made himself plainly known.
Some of my best friends are gay. I can’t bear the thought of them being judged so harshly. Don’t compare them to paedos!!! It’s just wrong! They are beautiful people.
According to Christians, pedos and other alphabet people are equally sinful, and will be forgiven if they repent and ask Jesus for forgiveness. If you don't ask Christ for forgiveness, God is just going to pass judgement. Acting out sinful desires is still a sin, whether you like it or not and they will supposedly be judged individually
We're not comparing them to pedos. We're pointing out that the same logic applies. If I can love whomever I want because love is love, who are you to tell me I can't marry that six-year-old over there?
I wanted to thank you very much for this video. I've been struggling with these desires for my entire life. No one seems to have been able to answer my questions. For example: If God doesn't make mistakes then what am I? I want to convert but I'm an abomination. How can I sit there week after week in church listening to what a foul creature I am? I love God but does God love me? How can he when I'm what he's against? How can I truly love him if i am what I am? This video has been the closet I've ever come to understanding these desires.
This is just my personal observation and I might be completely wrong. I knew 3 lesbians through my life and when I met each of their mothers, I realized why are they the way they are. All 3 lesbians had one thing in common: absolutely disgusting and unloving mothers. But unlike many other women with unloving mothers, those lesbians couldn’t even address the issue and accept that their mothers failed them, but locked themselves into some fantasy world believing that their mothers are good and if they just do enough, they would be enough. So, because they didn’t get the love from their mothers that they are perfectly entitled to ( like every child), they went around to seek love from other women. I know that 3 is a very small number. It might be a coincidence, but I am wondering if anyone else has noticed that
I know that's a pretty common thread across a lot of homosexual relationships, but it's definitely not all. I know the mother of a lesbian woman who is the sweetest person you'd ever meet. Misguided in a lot of ways, but sweet.
@@isheworthy - “So, because they didn’t get the love from their mothers that they are entitled to (like every child), they went around to seek love from other women.” - Citation Needed. This may be a normative abnormal psychological condition. It may not imply that women who have had unloving mothers seek out the company of other women-we are assuming a sexual component here-to make up for what they didn’t receive. The problem is that The Bible and its doctrines are at the heart of this conversation, with the end-game-argument being that the Bible is thought to condemn same-sex sexual relationships. Modern psychology has shown that same-sex relationships with a sexual component are as normative and regular as opposite-sex relationships with a sexual component. Studies also show that same-sex couples are also good for child development, and have the same, or better, outcomes as opposite-sex couples in the raising and education of children. They also seem to do better when non-stigmatizing religious belief-where present-is evident. Secular practices still have the best outcomes of quality-of-life than religious practices do. That’s because there is no stigma toward other people from the earliest of impressionable ages. This just makes sense. The acceptance of homosexual relationships in the United States, and the World, is proper and just in a society to is growing weary of religious hate and anxiety caused by extreme viewpoints that vilify people as “other” within that religion. That’s what I mean by “Ditch The Book and Think For Yourself!” (I’ll get citations later and post supporting links here, maximum of two (2) for thread brevity, or I’ll post a link to multiple papers supporting the normality of same-sex sexual relationships.)
@@isheworthy - Not common at all I would think. Misguided as to what? Some folks are just attracted to members of the same sex. For some, sex and/or gender doesn’t matter. So long as normal adult attraction falls within the adult age scale, it doesn’t really matter who one loves, or how many. Society needs to advance and mature. We need to be accepting of others who just have an attraction to members of the same sex/gender. Religion needs to step aside.

The old “we all have these struggles Sammy” what Frank is gay? I don’t think so he’s married with kids so it’s a false equivalence. Frank struggles with thoughts but thankfully he has the ‘right’ sexuality that means he can have all the things that improve your life like a loving partner and family. This little lady needs to just tough it out with a man she’s got zero attraction to. Straight back to the 1950s we go!!
yeah this is a tough one for me also. Like I am straight and have a husband and kids. But then I imagine lets say it was a sin to be with the other sex and I had to be wth a woman.... I have no attraction to at all. And just no romantic feeling sto or want to kiss or hug or cuddle with. It such a huge part of life. I think when people talk about this they should imagine this like placing themselves in the shoes of the gay person. Like what if your attraction was wrong, what would you do? So for men lets say you couldnt be with a woman and women you cant be with a man. Tbh I think id just be single 😁in that case. I was asexual until I met my husband
This is the church’s line on it. Do they honestly think someone like Elton John could be with a woman? It’s just insulting. So the church are fine as long as you keep up the charade of being straight or live completely alone. It’s so messed up that I can’t believe these people are Godly it sounds demonic.
I think the point is more specifically to address the question of 'why would I have feelings that run counter to God's law?' to which the response is we all have those one way or another, it is not a trait unique to gays. Also no one is saying she needs to tough it out and go with a man, there is always living a life of celibacy as many (gay and straight) people have done in the past and continue to do. You say having a partner is a blanket improvement in ones life but that is not what those people have found. St Paul wrote about how he was thankful he never married and encourage others to do the same as well, because it is a different type of blessing to have- it isn't an interior lifestyle.
All religions encourage marriage and children and we know that not having a partner and someone to love can be psychologically harmful. Celibacy doesn’t kill desire and the problem with not allowing it is that it can morph into something inappropriate. Ask yourself this, would this woman resent the church for saying she can’t explore her desire and love for women when she is 80 years old? Why is Frank alllowed to when two women can have a monogamous relationship with children?
@@katiemiaana You say all religions encourage marriage but I gave you an example on how there is scripture specifically saying that it is not only OK to remain unmarried but it was actively encouraging it. You seem to be worried about the effects of celibacy on ones psychology, but studies show that married couples are not magically happier then single people. (there is some that even say they might be unhappier, depending on how you measure it). Those who practice celibacy are not made worse for it. You ask if she might resent the church for saying she can't act on her desires but the church says this to everyone in some way. The church tells the unmarried they can't act on their sexual desires, even if they are straight. If they are married, they are not allow to pursue desires if they feel an attraction to someone else. Do these people (and I'm willing to bet Frank has been among them at some point) resent the church for putting these limitations on them? No they do not, and so neither should she. Celibacy has been something different people have practiced for thousands of years at this point, and many of them keep finding the same thing, it can be very hard at times, but is ultimately very rewarding. An example of this might be St Augustine, who lived unmarried to a woman for over a decade, even having a child with her, until his conversion where he realized he had to give it up to abide by Gods law. He would go on to write about how he found chastity to be a more for filling life, and described it as a gift from God.
I think all love is pure. It's not love that is the issue it's sex. As Christians we need to stop buying into this idea that love is sex and sex is love. Just because you love someone doesn't mean you need to have sex with them. If you think about it that itself is an evil idea that we ,ask Christians, need to steer away from.
I really like your videos. I just found them and am enjoying them. Can you tell me who the pastor is? I thought you said Voty Boccum, or something like that.
One of the issues with their arguments is that people are not discerning love from lust. Yet, when hearing discussions about this, people had weaponized empathy, making it seem as if we (Christians) were the bad guys for making such lifestyles unlawful. Further, people expressed how they can't fit into such a society and expect us to change, not they. It's not our fault that they make their own decisions. We are holding to a solid, consistent moral foundation. Also, the symbol of pride isn't one of accomplishments, it's about "Me My I".
look I am Christian but I also see the gravity of this issue. For most its not a choice its just like you are attracted to the other sex, they are attracted to the same. Just imagine that it was the world in reverse and you couldnt be with the same sex, how would you feel? I think its a good exercise in empathy. No matter if you approve or disprove. I just find it easy to judge for us straight people you know. We can have our partner of choice (I mean gender wise) and have a family. But then a gay person has to tough it out either single or sith someone they are not attracted to. Say like if you are a man and you would have to be with another man ( you have zero attraction to). Its just a hard subject.... we should always resond with kindness and empathy even when not agreeing with the lifestyle.

Why did your god make you bisexual to begin with?
Why is it ok for straights to “act upon it” but not other sexual orientations?
A man loving a woman is not always pure.
A man could love a woman that isn't his wife, that's adultery.
In Leviticus 18 it says
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God.
Romans 1:7 To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints:
GOD is speaking only to His Children, those who are called by His name.
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Morality will never save you ONLY Jesus can and none of us are moral.

It’s amazing to me that love is so often confused with lust.
Most people do not even know what true love is. True love is NOT a feeling. It is self sacrificial and involves total commitment even when you don't feel like it.
The problem is that most persons confuse the concept of love with passion, sex, selfishness, etcetera.
They even confuse it with flat out contrariness. 😊
There is a "difference" between Love or Lust. And I am amazed some people still do not understand what has been taught from the beginning of time , why we are here. ❤
We must remember love has many different attributes: 1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
God bless everyone ❤

Seems to all boil down to a fundamental misunderstanding and/or disagreement about what “love” is.
Love is not merely passive affection, but active devotion. Therefore, love is necessarily a choice (despite the culture insisting otherwise).
My wife asks me quite frequently: “Babe, do you feel like doing ____.” to which I almost always respond (somewhat jokingly), “No, but I will because I love you.” Love has little to do with self-gratification and everything to do with self-donation.
But you can do that to anybody, regardless of sex/gender.
@@amandavieira2543 Can ≠ should, at least if the desire is to be obedient to God’s desire/design. I *can* extend romantic love to lots of women in addition to my wife, but I *shouldn’t* as it would be an affront to our covenant, to God’s intention for marriage, and it would also reap significant undesirable consequences.
If you’re not interested in following Jesus, you are not beholden to the Christian sex ethic. One of the greatest mistakes the Church has made throughout its history is expecting those who do not claim or desire to follow Jesus to live as if they do.
@@joshpetermann so god's love is about self-gratification, because he is not able to trully love those who don't follow what he says.

This is so important I know folks who spout..."it's all about love. Love is love." Thank you for useful tools.
God does not direct people to sin, she just wants to be validated in her choices.

It's not equating sex with love that they are doing. It's equating the need to have sex with love.

In 1 Cor 6:9-11 Paul writes
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Paul later clarifies this in 1 Cor 15:
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
Only Jesus offers us eternal life,
1 Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
What's wrong about it?

What they said about this matter?
Just watched Rosaria Butterfield's testimony - thank you
I admire his patience, in arrogance he always offers humility.
Good luck on your journey, but maybe you need to re-read God’s Word a little more carefully.
i think about this a lot. glad to know im not the only one

Nobody sees the "love" inside you until it is expressed in action. Otherwise, "love" can be confessed a million times but it means nothing when there is no action. To me, "love" is an action word, not just an emotion. Love, and romance and lust can many times be confused.
@@JohnLee-gt3sr "I feel love in my heart for you... but do nothing"
Precisely so. Words mean little. Action means much. Love *might* motivate an action, but the action itself is not love. It's ACTION! This is a problem in Christianity since "love" has many meanings and definitions. To require an action turns it into "works" which for some reason BAC (born again Christians) find offensive.
Natural desires lead to legitimate fulfillment of human needs which is a choice and can also lead to illegitimate fulfillment of human needs which is also a choice.
Of course, the Church knows what needs are illegitimate, and not one's own loving partner. Sure, sure.
@@AlexReynard no. It’s basic human needs. Objective human needs. You cannot fulfill legitimate human needs to multiply humanity with the similar genetic traits as both of the parents in gay relationships. Hence illegitimate. It’s not church, it is simple 1+1=2

In 2007 at age 17 I suffered a brain injury and was put back in high school after turning 18.
Mankind doesn’t love purely but God does.
David Wilkerson was an excellent pastor too.

How About This: You Are NOT A SINNER! Think about that for a moment in the first person. “I Am Not A Sinner Because Sin Does Not Exist! It Is A Made-Up Construct, Created By An Ancient Priest Caste To Control Their Followers!”

@@TheFirefishe So, if sin is just a fairy tale spun by ancient priests, then I suppose murder and theft are just mild misunderstandings, like forgetting to say "bless you" after a sneeze.
Conviction is you saying "you've made a mistake"
Condemnation is you saying "you are a mistake"
You have the authority to judge fellow believers (EXCLUSIVELY USING THE WORD OF GOD. NOT BY FEELINGS OR THOUGHTS, BY THE TRUTH). So please, don't be too hard on yourself, and don't shy away from giving scripture based reproach because of guilt!
God loves you, and I love you too. Take care.💌
@lilaclaza i appreciate this more than you know. I keep hearing similar things, and I don't know why it's so hard to let go. It just stays. At the end of the day, I'm grateful for a heart capable of hurting. I'm grateful for the opportunity to know the truth. I was once like the guy saying "I'm not a sinner because it's all made up"... etc. I was atheist and proud of it. Common sense and science kept me comfortably ignorant. And blameless. Guiltless. So in a way, I'm grateful to feel it. I know he's forgiven me, but I'll carry some until I meet Him and ask personally.

15:41 Brandon, this finally put things in perspective for me. When I was 13 I was victimized by my 24 year old neighbor. He was someone I looked up to and admired, and he betrayed my trust. I was assaulted by him any time he could get me alone. It took me over 20 years to understand that I didn’t need to feel shame because as the adult he should have known it was wrong and I was too young to understand. So, now these kids, some younger than I was back then are being allowed to make this monumental, permanent change to their bodies and we’re told that we are wrong to say they don’t understand?

It is as though a part of you is dead. Pray.
I strongly disagree that your claim Christian neglect to love and support same-sex attracted people. Their attraction is no different than many heterosexual attractions which God does not want us acting upon as a single person . Should the church do anything special to help us? Only eunuchs do not have these issues, Single people all share the burden and loneliness
What actions that result from it???
yes exactly.... some here lack empathy to understand the gravity of this.
Translation: "I claim to love God, but I ignore His deeds and insist on following the words in a book that a bunch of mortal men wrote about Him. When I see a love he put in the hearts of two people, I insist it's not real. Because I'd rather believe in some dusty 2000-year-old book than what's right in front of my eyes. I'm a ratlike squealing coward who'd rather follow the rules than accept when God shows me I'm wrong."
Man, your videos are so helpful, thank you.
Excellent points
Prejudiced much?
@@TomSanders-mi2bg Not sure how that’s prejudice? Does not logic & reason show this type of behavior to make 0 sense? & if it weren’t for the driving lust behind it. Who would partake in same sex anything? Even without the pleasure aspect heterosexual relations still make sense.

@@litigioussociety4249 I don't think they have an argument even performing an abortion on themselves: the point is to end the life of the body inside them, so there's a question of when civil rights begin and end.
Pedos are making the same arguments as the gay community. Even sin (and crime) has an excuse.
You are free to love anyone. You are not free to engage in sexual behavior with someone of the same sex. It’s very simple.
It might be a coincidence, but I am wondering if anyone else has noticed that
@@Louise-o7b - Your daughter is setting, and continuing, the example you started. Ditch The Book, think for yourself, and you’ll be on solid ground!
I know that's a pretty common thread across a lot of homosexual relationships, but it's definitely not all. I know the mother of a lesbian woman who is the sweetest person you'd ever meet. Misguided in a lot of ways, but sweet.
@@isheworthy - “So, because they didn’t get the love from their mothers that they are entitled to (like every child), they went around to seek love from other women.”

Citation Needed.
That’s what I mean by “Ditch The Book and Think For Yourself!”
(I’ll get citations later and post supporting links here, maximum of two (2) for thread brevity, or I’ll post a link to multiple papers supporting the normality of same-sex sexual relationships.)
@@saraandstuartshannon2160 - I would think there have to be other examples of lesbians who have had absolutely fantastic mothers!
Did you notice at 12:55 that the captions of what Voddie quotes are wrong. The last word should be 'ungodliness' but it's written as 'and godliness.' I'm not sure where you got this clip (a link in your description would be helpful), so if you could pass that type-o on to Voddie or whoever posted this sermon, then they would be able to make the correction. This may not seem like a big deal because we heard what he said (& we could read it if we were told which chapter in John he was reading from), but it IS a big issue for people in the Deaf community. Especilly those who have 0% hearing available.
Thank you for this video, and a big shout out of appreciation that there is no background music in it. I am very grateful to you for that!
God didn’t do that for you, you were lead by Satan not God.
Where can I go to get the complete sermon from Voddie Baucham?
He would go on to write about how he found chastity to be a more for filling life, and described it as a gift from God.
thank you so much. my morning breakfast with this. bless you
I think all love is pure. It's not love that is the issue it's sex. As Christians we need to stop buying into this idea that love is sex and sex is love. Just because you love someone doesn't mean you need to have sex with them. If you think about it that itself is an evil idea that we ,ask Christians, need to steer away from.
AMEN!
@FixyASMR I'm attracted to money. But God says it's wrong and you can't serve two masters. So I don't act on my desires
@@sshpeppermint well I would say money is something very different than a bond between 2 people. A lifelong partnership to go through life. So I understand their sturggle and empathize
@@FixyASMR it may seem different for us humans but both things are wrong in the eyes of God. our judgement is corrupted and our hearts are wicked. but this is love pointed at the wrong object.
don't think I don't empathize - my own dad is gay. and it breaks my heart to see how he ruined everything good in his life in pursue of cheap thrills (gay lifestyle may be pretty shallow, lifelong gay partnerships are rare). to add salt to the wound we are from a homophobic country. and I pray for him to accept God while he's still alive and it's not too late
