I agree, but an organized short firework display may be fine. I live in the U.P.of Michigan, and no lie...the fireworks go from July 2 til after Labor Day, all week weekends, it's horrible for older folks, pets, nesting birds, I despise fireworks!!

Really wish fireworks were banned. By now people know the harm it causes towards pets and wildlife.
