Thank you, I don't know if the 454 has the same system but conventional injectors are all similar devices and can all be restored the same way. If you don't have a pop tester just don't interfere with the spring settings and look out for broken springs. My Fordson Dexta injector video gives a deaper insight. Good luck, Jon
The stop control when set halfway gives excess fuel for starting I think also we put geared starters on as they're much faster turning and make a better start 👍
Just had a look at thermostart video ,your tractor has a cav rotary injector pump so does not have rhe stop control when set halfway gives excess fuel for starting that was on most models with the more common Bosch pump
