So once it's been started remotely is it ready to drive or do I still need to put my key in the ignition? We've had to replace our ignition twice in as many years and I'd love to go "keyless start" to save the trouble. Cost $630 this past time to replace so I'd sooner go keyless and forget about it.
With it being a plug and play, most likely no.. I’ve installed generic remote starts with manual transmissions before, but you have to make sure you ALWAYS leave your vehicle in neutral, otherwise you might be chasing your car across an empty parking lot (ask me how I know)
@@scathelocke Lol, thank you for your reply..... I dunno if I should ask 'how you know.' My car is always on a flat parking lot at home and work, so I never leave it in gear. I rely on just the hand brake in both locations.

Key is still required in the ignition.
I purchased and installed this kit for my 2016 Ford Fiesta. It accepted the programming, but doesn’t start the car. How do I reset it to reprogram?
Will this remote start work on my 2014 Fiesta with MANUAL 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION? Thanks for any reply.
