Did you check your luggage at the airport? Or did you have small enough containers of liquids? How easy was going through security and customs with the bag being so full and complex compared to other travelers?
@@johndam1098 Our backpacks fit the parameters for carry-on. Our liquids pouch met the requirement. We travel with less liquid, such as our bar shampoo soap. Global Entry status also expedited our passage through airport security.
Was it easy to get thru customs? Did you basically just say that you were going to be in country for a certain period of time? I know in Germany all they cared about was when you were leaving the country. They didn't care how long you would be in Europe. Just the country itself.
@@johndam1098 Good question ! Yes, customes was quick and easy. All we did was scan our passports and they stamped it. Keeping your passport handy is necessary when purchasing a ticket for transport to another EU nation, otherwise travel between countries is pretty seamless.
