In my own case, knee pain is a great indicator as to what style to buy. As I get older, it’s fundamental.
    Thanks, good video.

    Hi Josh
I'm a midfoot to forefoot runner and I overpronate. Would you be able to recommend some stability/max cushion shoes that caters towards midfoot/forefoot runners?
    Big fan of your videos!
    Keep it up mate!

See I over pronate a lot but my arches are high. Whenever I research it says usually flat footed people need stability shoes yet I have high arches

If 75% of runners need stability shoes, why is 95% of running shoes made for neutral runners..? 🥲🧐🤷‍♀️

Because most people use them for day to day wear.

What happens if shoe wear is on the inner side but only in the heal? Wear on front part of shoe is centered and even. My arches are on the higher side.

Can you recommend a place in Sydney, NSW that does a good job at a professional foot assessment? I know many retail stores offer it, but are they trained and knowledgeable enough to save my feet from permanent damage?

Hi Mange, Thanks for watching and sending through your question. It is challenging finding a reputable store, that you can engage with and have trust straight away. Where about in Sydney do you call home? I have a few stores in mind, and I will let you know where they might be placed. Also I am more than happy to jump on video call with you and talk it through before you head into a store? We offer a free service called LiveFit - www.sportitude.com.au/live-fit - This would help me understand your needs and requirements, so I can assist you accordingly. Around a 15 minute chat. Regards, Josh

@@SportitudeAus live fit sounds great and if i was in a remote area I’d be all over it. I do prefer the hands on experience though and I am close to the city, so anything from Sydney to Strathfield and the inner west will be ok for me.

@@WeDontWantYourWar - More than happy to point you in the right direction. I would reach out to Running Science. I believe they are in Rozelle, Fletch and his team are very service focused. They offer full analysis and can guide you into the right footwear. There is also Pace Athletic, while they have a very good understanding of footwear, I'm not sure they offer an analysis as such. These would be my two starting points. I would call them both, and ask a few questions before heading in and double check if you need to book for your assessment. Hope this helps. Let me know how you go.
