The Blouse and Skirt are PAK items that were available in a variety of colors (1962-1963). The ensemble "Country Fair" #1603 from 1964 contains a unique set with a "Floral Skirt" and "Yellow Blouse" from the same pattern. It look terrific in my Bubblecut.
these are beautiful outfits! I, prefer collecting vintage repros because they are easier to find and they are in better condition. I do have one vintage doll from my Aunt, its the original authentic Midge and sadly she has poor eye paint, and a bald spot, also what I love about Barbie is she is for any age that wants to collect and I am a very young collector, and I like that your channel isn't just for 13 up!!
I love your videos, my Barbie was from 1960 Christmas & Midge was 1965, I had so many from these outfits you feature. All my Barbies were stolen along with my Dream House in 1974.
@@JazzHandsyes I have, I have 7 Barbies & 1 Midge, reproductions, but they make me happy! Slowly collecting the outfits I had & I plan on getting the 1962 Dreamhouse.
I'm sure the boy's name "Matty" on the apron was by design as Mattel's trademark included the character Matty Mattel (who sat on top of the "M" and wore a crown, too)!
Glad you are enjoying them! I’m glad I have a nice new camera in my phone to take hopefully better quality videos! There a couple more barbie fashions and my new Licca-Chan doll introduction video up now :)
The apron is really pretty easy to find, it is sturdy cotton and holds up pretty well. The accessories are challenging to find. It’s fun to collect them piece by piece, and then one day have the full set!
OK. You're having way to much fun:) Great to see another video! Your favorite doll still looks great. Can't really tell on camera. She'll have a high drama war story to tell now. She probably still loves you :)
Hahaha! I definitely feel bad about her cheek, she is stored much more carefully now until I need her for the next video. Maybe I should get her a vintage GI Joe? They came with a battle scar on their face! They could compare scars! 😂
Glad you liked it! I have a few more rolling out tonight too :) hopefully these videos make up for the dry spell everyone had to sit through while I was without a camera!
It is! It’s one of the more common vintage items because it’s sturdy and holds up well, being made of cotton. The little accessories are hard to find. Guess you better start collecting the whole set! I try to keep each outfit in a plastic bag with all the stuff it belongs with, I don’t want to lose anything!
@@gavinresendes5276 ah I completely understand. I wasn’t allowed to either! It’s really hard when our parents don’t let us have the things they want isn’t it? Just know that your mother loves you and is doing the best that she can for you, and you’ll be able to get one, one day! Barbie will be waiting patiently until you can have one of your very own!
@@JazzHands also pretty sure she would get me one but on amazon there was a silken flame barbie for 50$ so she was like no it’s to expensive but i looked on ebay and saw one for 5$ , 10$ she still didn’t get me one so it’s either the ones are kind of / to expensive or she doesn’t want me playing with barbies.
More videos please! I so enjoy them! I watch one most days!

LOVE THIS SET!!!! Really love the apron! I wish I could find this set some where.

Dip the bubblecut in very warm water more to the hot side. This will restore the plastic on her face. Add a gentle shampoo for a fun bath!😊
I let her rest for awhile and she seems to get molded back into shape over time!!
Your so natural with Barbie man !! As a doll player and collector i have to say you run a good vid man ....thanks
Haha thank you! I deliberately want my videos to be low tech, simple videos where you see the outfit and doll as they were intended!
Oh! You have the baby!!!!
Yeah it isn’t the hardest piece to find luckily!

Boiling water will fix that dent :)
I am happy to report that she has “bounced back”. Quite a relief, I hated damaging my favorite barbie!
