Nice work getting the first coverage of the Elantra N face lift model in the US! Thanks for sharing
Im on my 2nd Veloster N, but I am loving the look of this face-lift Elantra N! #savethemanuals
Love the black Hyundai badge on the steering wheel too. Going to have to swap out my chrome one for that one. I also noticed they didn't put rear vents. Luckily you can add that with the Korean avante spec
Awesome video! Keep it up 🔥
Elantra n is such an amazing car all around!
Looks fantastic I would say
I now know why ppl have been asking me about vents on the second row. Korean specs always had them, can’t believe Hyundai USA didn’t put it there 😢
I agree with you! It’s unfortunate that the US Spec doesn’t have the rear vents! Also just wanted to say I love watching your videos on Hyundai, Kia and Genesis model! Hope all is well!
It sucks but you can always add it it’s not that hard
Nice to see you here!😂👏🏾 I personally dont even care about the rear vents being that im a single individual. I truly wont have any rear passengers in my car other than my gf. Im all about the performance and ofc the outside appearance. Those vents are not a concern lol.
I went on the website and was mad that the Korean indeed got rear vents and sunroof on the manual, heated rear seats, illuminated door handles...there are some more features I did not mention. The US spec sucks.
Thanks for the video.
Any idea when they are launching it in the US? I couldn’t find anything online…
I’m glad a lot of people like the redesign so it’ll help keep the Elantra N around with good sales. I disagree that the front looks more aggressive than the 22-23 design. It’s been toned way down and to me looks a lot less aggressive. I prefer the original, but I’m biased as a current Elantra N owner. There’s something about the space above the headlights that just looks like the front is being squished down. So while I’m not in love with the front, it’s growing in me a little bit, but back is a total fail. That straight line and all black underneath almost covering the entire bumper is just blah to me. Again, I hope more people buy them, but I think Hyundai could’ve done much better.
Definitely looks really good especially the front but with good sales 😂 their always sitting on the lots at the dealership.
Not where I’m from!👎
@n-power automotive , you nailed it. Completely agree with what you said. I too I'm not a fan of the new look but there are some aspects that I mentioned in my comment that I like about it
idk what area you live in but near me they definitely do not sit, usually selling 2 days tops after being received@@MWAclanGaming
@@MWAclanGamingWhere do you live where they’re sitting?? There are literally ZERO available in my state, any time we get one it’s instantly sold before it touches the lot
Damn it looks so good

Don’t be afraid to say it. Its high quality engineering and its better than Toyota too. Skeptics wont accept it. But it is. Hyundai is in a whole new level.
They have for sure go up in build quality. Gaps are improved constantly and the door feels nice and heavy and not like a Civic
Bro I feel the quality is up there in these cars there not rattling or squikin after 100k.
I’m a fan of the face lift! I own a 22 and I definitely like the new look.
This is rare to see! An actual current Gen owner liking the new look lol. Nice.
@@porfiriato84 ohh definitely lol 😂! I absolutely love the new front lights, if I were to give a comparison it reminds me of the JDM Acura Integra front headlights and the 22/23 are like the U.S. spec version. I think that might be a good analogy for my comparison 🤔 if that makes sense lol 😂
@@nstylemotorsportsracing1471yeah It does make Sense man 🙌🏼
I'm just hoping there's good availability around February when I plan on getting it.
i prefered the 22 i had, but im not buying a used one, this isnt bad, i like the new wheels
too beautiful and powerful this version. the truth is that Hyundai has done an excellent job with its models. incredible❤🙌
I have one and I love ❤
Awesome.
I'm glad they kept the manual handling brakes, will allow me to slide around the corners. Did you see one with the 6-speed manual transmission? I will be looking for the manual one.
No Manual at the show unfortunately. This was the same press photo car they used to unveil it on the 30th!
One thing I did notice was the 3rd button just below the parking button which seems to be the parking distance warning, not present in the pre-face but i wonder if its just to turn on/off the sensors without having to go to the menus. Another thing is based on the angle that could be antiglare rear view mirrors if it doesnt have that flip thing. 2 USB-C in the back is nice, would rather have the rear vents rather than modding it. The USB-C in the front is also nice. Would like to see if they have wifi hotspot as a subscription with bluelink native.
I think that is to just turn it on or off for the parking brake distance. As for the mirror I don’t think it had that. Would of loved to see the rear vents!
Did the weight change?
why does it not have the adaptive cruise control I saw the 2024 uk version have the adaptive cruise control along with air vents in the back.
5:27 "the oh shit handle" that had me weak
😂😭 that’s the only thing it should be called
@@soflojoshautoreviewI know it’s months later, but is that oh shit handle better quality than the ‘23 model? It looks pretty flimsy/cheap in it.
I’m looking to get an EN and idk if I should wait for the ‘24 model to finally release or buy what’s out there now.
Thanks!
Very nice facelift! Just wish they included HDA just like on the Korean version!
Does this car still have the red boost button?
It’s coming next year?
This needs to come to the UK💯💯💯💯
I got the front flat badge, now I've gotta get the rear one to balance it out and I'll be all set❗️
Does this car still do have 286 hp with ngs? And does it do 0-60 4.8-5.1 seconds?
@Rururu-ci5dl yes and surely 👈
NICE!
Bro, I don’t know how you don’t have more subs. This video is top notch. Very pro looking and sounding.
I’m gonna pick up a facelift EN in spring 24
Thank you very much! The 24’ looks sharp and I was definitely happy to see it in person! I hope you enjoy your EN
@@soflojoshautoreview I edited my above comment. My iPhone autocorrected “more” to “my” for some reason 😂
@@soflojoshautoreview And thanks! I have a 21 Forte GT rn that I love, but I crave more power. Plus, the EN has a lot of features normally reserved for the aftermarket such as its lowered stance, great wheel fitment, and exhaust pops/bangs all from factory.
Get in line and be prepared to pay over MSRP.
@@richardmichael59 I will not pay over MSRP
Nice video, nice car.
I'm so glad they kept the manual. I was afraid for the face lift that They were gonna discontinue the manual and just keep it automatic. For 2024 . My Lease almost up on my accord sport. I got less than 6 months left. I like the Elantra NLine and the Elantra N more now lol
Same
@@terab6942 😎 I really like the Elantra NLine and the Elantra N . So clean and sleek
In the year 2030 the elantra N is gonna be a full blown super car.
On the rear that triangle on the Elantra is NOT the 3rd brake like. It is just a reflector.
One nice update on the interior is that they added LED lighting
Yeah that was my bad. It does feel a lot brighter on the interior which I’m glad they added LED.
First video I've seen on the US models in person, looks nice. Glad to see the manual handbrake. Do you know if the cruise control is adaptive?
On the DCT it should be adaptive but not the Manual.
That was a DCT in your video and it did not have radar cruise. @@soflojoshautoreview
@@soflojoshautoreview damn goes for regular on the DCT. Thanks!
If you can hold out for two years I'd wait. Bierman said in an interview the 290hp engine in the sonata fits just fine in the Elantra and wants to throw it in there.
much better front this time !
Will the manual have the sunroof option?
Still unsure. I tried asking around but the people working at the show were not executives.
Looks better, hopefully the price is the same, without dealer mark up
Thanks, I've ordered this so can't wait for it! I'm surprised it has manual handbrake as the Korean examples had electronic.
Yeah the US models remove some items to keep the price down, same thing happened with 22/23 models. Personally handbrake is a huge plus anyway
You can already order the 2024?
You can put a deposit down on one, but you can't spec one yet I don;t think. @@howdypartner3894
@@howdypartner3894 tell me where if you figure it out. Thanks
Do you know if it's available with the 6-speed manual like the 2023?
I wonder who approved the snow-like floor for the Auto Show.
does the N get video blind spot montoring now and 360 camera park?
So the Hybrid Elantra gets the 360 but the N doesn’t unfortunately. Think they do it for cost purposes or weight.
@@soflojoshautoreview :( was hoping for it.. korean spec gets it, that and heated steering :(
Does anyone know if you can cap the RPMs to 4000 like you can in the Subaru BRZ. Only reason is to break in the engine for the 1st 1000 miles.
Yeah with your right foot. ;)
When can I can buy it i got the money I want it I need it
Do a Sonata video bro
Of course those who already bought the previous version prefer it. Otherwise they would have to admit to buyers remorse. Any other person can clearly see it's a much more agression and attractive design after the facelift.
Dude! It's what I've been saying! It's unbelievable how in denial those current owners are in the comment section! They try so hard to defend their 2023 lol but they know this one is much better. They just will never admit it
Any new videos on the 2024 get instantly bombed by previous owners who are worried about their older models becoming obsolete. It's super annoying. All cars become outdated soon enough! I try to tell them just to enjoy their 22 or 23 models! And please don't dog on people who love the new 2024 model!
@@CrystalNinja07I agree 💯
I prefer the OG as the solid front Black front end looks aggressive, Also I love the style of the OG wheels.
@@mrnobodytheuser2950that's fair. But as mentioned, it's stupid when the current owners just have to downplay the new one when really it's going to please those who are looking into getting one
Does anyone know when can we build and price on the Hyundai website?
Don't know but I feel like it's taking longer than it should have for this car to be released. Like c'mon it's almost December!
Either way there's really not much to build on. You either get manual or DCT and the color.
Glad it’s the manual hb, might get this over the 2022-2023 model now
Would have beeen nice if we can hear the exhaust
Can you cover the sonata too?
I’ll have a video on that later today!
No radar on the front, 360 camera and no e-park brake like the Korean version? Dang. I hope Australian spec gets those options. Maybe I got a bit too excited from the Korean videos.
Rather unfortunate to see it not get the radar system!
If you choose the SmartSense1 option, you get the front radar, 360 camera, and e-park brake, but lose the manual parking brake.
E brake is doodoo
Go away, e park brake is for grandma's driving buicks.
I noticed that too , could be a deal breaker for me although I believe Australia gets the Korean models ….. or I think they do
Before its look Spaceship but now its better looking car 👍👍👍
Off topic, but I just seen a 24 kona and those look like the owners have come from the future and are in disguise like aliens or something like that. They make the look of these *NOTHING" compared to those ugly and kind of "creepy" futuristic looking spaceships in disguise things
i cannot wait to get my 2024 Elantra N was gonna get a 2023 but then they announced the 2024 and i knew i needed to wait to get the new model the front looks so much cleaner and aggressive and i love it.
Same here man. That ugly front end from current Gen was the thing that prevented me from getting one. This one looks much better and I hope to get it early 2024
Absolutely with both of you. Got an order on a 2024 model. Couldnt stomach the current design. This is exactly what I was hoping for! Hope to be driving this in a few months! 4:43
@@CrystalNinja07 how'd you get an order?
@@otakulture2398 It's actually a pre order. I paid an early deposit and signed a contract, but it's subject to test drive and final pricing.
@@otakulture2398 I assume you just visit your local Hyundai dealership. That's what I'm gonna be doing.
I wonder if there would be a 2024 red Elantra N

is this still there i might go today
Will be there on display until the 10th!
@@soflojoshautoreview Thanks!
2023 hands down looks wayyyyy bettter. Now it looks like a new Honda from the front
I love the front but the rear I kinda don’t like the mostly all black part looks funny. Kinda prefer the 23 rear bumper. Just my opinion
Do you know how much it's going to be ?
Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet. I would say about $1,500-$2,000 increase over last year
Does this car still do have 286 hp with ngs? And does it do 0-60 4.8-5.1 seconds?
my 22 got totaled, thanks to some lady, waiting to order a 24
Nothing changes inside. Just the front and rear bumper plus blacked out badges. Great car but where I live $43K is a bit much.
Finally they put a front bumper on the car. I think the K5 GT is way nicer, and the interior is insane as well.
Elantra N is a better drivers car and K5 GT is for nicer interior
@@elistap3989 I mean if we're talking about getting into deep racing ideologies, understeer and grip and which of the cars feels most planted and thrilling at the limit In a corner, then yeah I know the Elantra n is the way to go. But I can't drive like that in Coral springs Florida. Cops on every corner. All you see all day are kids in their evos and STIs and hooked up civics and type R's with straight pipes on them pulled over by Broward sheriff's officers.
I just went to Coral springs Kia and sat in a brand new 2024 K5 GT and the interior is absolutely stunning. And it's not just all style and no substance. The actual materials are beautiful and everything feels to really solid. Out the door it was about 38k fully loaded and with that rear diffuser and quad pipes and aggressive stance and everything, it looks very aggressive but also grown up, And I'm sure plenty fun enough to drive on my daily commute and running errands and shit.....
can't wait to take it for a test drive and I'm sure I'll be plenty satisfied with the power and handling. Doesn't need to feel like a Miata or GR86 pure sports car experience for me to get to work and back. Thanks for the input though
I’m honestly excited, didn’t like the previous model it was ugly to me now it looks more aggressive and the 360 cam sold it for me
Was surprised to see the 360 camera! Glad the US finally got it
I took a survey with Hyundai after my 2022 purchase and was asked for one feature I would have wanted and I replied 360 camera!
@@robertf9521 well thank you
I'll keep my EN, but I'll take those wheels over the first gen's
Same here I have a 23 performance blue and I think it looks way more aggressive than this model. I don't know this just looks like another Honda Accord from the front but hey that's my opinion.
🤙🏾
Currently shopping between...
Hyundai Elantra N
Honda Civic Type R
Toyota GR Corolla
Toyota GR86
Subaru WRX
Anyone else in the same boat? Thoughts?
My current car is a 2014 Ford Focus ST, which I bought brand new and I still love it and have tracked it 20+ times. But after 10 years, it'd be nice to get something new.
I was splitting between Elantra N, Audi S3 and Type R. Went with the EN 2024! The value and fun for performance was just too good.
GR86 is much slower than the rest without mods but by far the most affordable. WRX is the most outdated of the bunch. Civic Type R is very nice but more pricey than the Elantra, GR Corolla will be your fastest but most expensive and least aggressive looking. Elantra N looks most aggressive , and is cheap for the performance. Hopefully seeing those key attributes helps
Can you cover the Sonata too?
Got a video coming out soon for that!
Front looks like a 23 Forte Gt.
New face look makes it look like a Honda
All I wanna know is when is, Hyundai, gonna have the N make 385-390 hp to the wheels? It already makes 270-280 to the wheels. The 2014-17 has the 201 hp engine. the 1.6t making an easy 320-480 hp to the wheels aftermarket of course. The N needs to stand out. 2.0t can easily make 380-390hp to the wheels? Cmon Hyundai give the gas engine some more love !
Hyundai would have to improve the handling of the Car, I own the 22 and its wild enough.
@@mrnobodytheuser2950 what would be awesome is if Hyundai made the N models selectable Awd! With that wet clutch 8 speed DCT. Meaning you can be 100% rear wheel drive all the time or 50/50 or 40/60? Of course that would push it in another category but why not? I mean just a few years ago the only vehicle that had a DCT was mostly exotics
Why Hyundai equips Canadian-spec; manual Elantra N with sunroof, and not on the US-spec manual Elantra N, is a head scratcher....I would honestly consider purchasing one if they did....hmm 🤔
Me too.
People in the comments going crazy about having the 22 version 😂
The Korean model has rear vents, if I remember right. 😢
It does.
Again no fucking rear vents????? Gonna wait for the Kona N then. Really wanted the Elantra N but I have people who sit in the rear seats and it’s too hot here in Florida not to have them.
Yeah it’s unfortunate! I will be editing a video of the Kona N-Line soon! Also hearing rumours that the Kona N will be all electric
You can add the vents. The ducting is already there.
There are no plans to make a ‘24 Kona N, it’s dead.
People whine too much about rear vents. For single people like me who won't ever have anyone in the back, I couldn't care less about rear vents.
own a hyundai but I feel like soo many front ends on hyundai look extremely plastic/ cheap despite trying to look fancy . THIS LOOKS WAY MORE HIGH END on top of aggressive I guess . It just looks less cheap which is awful waht stands out to me on therwise good lookig cars . This Elantra in general is kinda weird / different and took chances and didnt sell me BUT that FRONT END FIXES A LOT of that feeling , its enough that I would say its a good looking car now and not just cool for driving experience , performance and attitude and self confidence to fart loudly in public not worrying about people thinking youir juvenile . For the money today its a good value if you want a ripper but 4 seats . I am very happy with my Elantra GT N line with manual trans I got with deep discounts for 20K instead of 24in 2019 and these are soo much better and more rowdy I know I would love it cuz my wanna be 1.6t is fun and drives great and turned up to 11 , awesome , besides ride which woud be harsher but thats OK , and MPGs and NOT A HATCH cuz americans stupid and we didnty get I30N , the car I acutally wanted , but in this new era of rediculous car price increases for 30 whatever 32 33K it relative terms it seems great and NOTHING of its type and price and the new face HIUGE IMPROVEMENT and more enticing , one of the biggest improvements to a car changing the front clip I have ever seen m best front end refresh ever in regards to jus CHANGING my impression of DESIGN as WELL as looking more expensive with major cost advance .The sides that look like acne scarsI hated up front and now am more tolerant at best , its just and odd looking car but nose job REALLY HELPED and I would own it for the driving
Nooo..i thought they were getting rid of the manual handbrake 😥
Please at least tell me it came with the LED interior lights…
This show car had it but remember it is a prototype/pre production so it might not carryover
They need to fix up that spoiler and probably the rear look of it too.. too much sharp edges on that trunk.
Yes, the 2024 Elantra N now looks more attractive, but the rear wing spoiler looks out of place.
This is not aggressive. Again, it's subjective and people will have different opinions. The road presence of the current Gen is far superior. This face lift has a slight droppiness and the rare has too much black plastic. And I waited for the reveal for the 2024 before buying my 2023. I choose the 2023 and I don't regret it. People compliant the car all the time.
More people will compliment the 2024
I think the new models are now 4K more than the current models.

I always hate the fact that the Korean specs and features are so much better than than the US ones. Was looking into this for the shifter mounted in steering cylinder, but thats a deal breaker for me to spend an extra 5k vs a civic.

I still cannot believe they didn’t put air vents for the backseat, that shouldn’t even be a option, that literally should be standard with any car… so nauseating…smh
It is frustrating to say the least. Wish it was standard. I know people buy a kit to change that.
@@soflojoshautoreview i’ve seen people buy that kit as well. Right now I have a 2023 Kia GT with a GT2 package. And I was waiting for this new Elantra N to come out because I felt like I should’ve got the N instead.

I think doing POV is better because it makes the viewer feel like they are the ones walking around the car or stepping inside!
Upping the game is not important if reliability is still an issue. Honda and Toyota are simply king of reliability and resale value.
You're simply an old man
24 front end looks soft. 23 front end/grill looks way better, more angry looking.
It's exactly why they changed it. The current Gen has a very ugly front end
No auto hold and no smart cruise control are a deal breaker. I don't mind paying for them as a package, but if they don't offer them I'm gonna pass on this one too.
So you being a lazy driver is the issue.

2023>2024
Even with the face-lift I don't like this car.
Nah don’t like it very much. Front end is to low, should have made it like the New 2024 Sonata which looks much better compared to this. It’s an improvement from the previous version but still not that good. Kia has the Forte which shares the chassis with Elantra but I like the Forte better. Have been seeing lots of Forte’s on the road and I think Kia Forte GT will look better & have about the same drivetrain as this Elantra-N! 🙂
22-23 EN looks better. The front is unique and aggressive. The 24, looks like a dust buster. Funny how this guy thinks the 2022 to 2023 looks less aggressive. Everyone has their own opinion. That's the first time I heard that from someone. The new look looks very generic and like any other sedan on the road. And the rear end. ouch. Trying to copy off of Subaru's ugly new WRX look with all the black, all over it. I absolutely love the new badges and the forged wheels that come with it though 👍
Nope. This is what 99% of current EN owners are saying to help justify that they didn't wait for the new one. Sorry bud but this one is much better than current Gen. And they added small upgrades that will help the car perform slightly better.
@@porfiriato84 not true at all. You must be blind kiddo if you believe this is an improvement. Looks like a dust buster now in the front 😆. The rear is a huge downgrade like I said with the black being raised. Not sure what they were thinking with that, ugly WRX wannabe? It didn't change much at all performance wise. Exact same power numbers. Little tweaks to suspension and mounts. That's it.

@@porfiriato84 When did I say it was a complete redesign?? Exactly. They just changed up the front end and the rear with different wheels. The front end did not get fixed at all, that's your opinion. The rear end is a huge downgrade. Stupid ugly. Nothing about it needed to be fixed.
Never have I heard people demanding more bumper. This reminds me of when the geniuses put a giant bumper of the gorgeous early gen Datsun Zs.

The 1985 style rear wing looks out of place. Just get rid of it Hyundai.
I was just thinking how good it might look with just a lip spoiler.
