I am by no means an expert on snooker, but what has impressed me about the Asian players I've seen is how often they hit the center of the pocket, no rattling around on the jaws. Great precision.

I think he lost his tour card at the end of last season. He'll probably go to Q school in Asia to regain it. He used to practice in the same club I practice in when he still had his tour card.

Thanks, mate. I've not heard of Sunny before, but he looks quite competent. Does he still play?
He left the Tour at the end of the 2021/22 season, partly because many of his ranking points had been won in China two seasons earlier.

Or do those points not count in some tournaments? I don’t know if I can wait 5 days! I’ll go into withdrawal!!! @@just-dl Ranking points count for two years. Those points earned in a tournament 24 months ago are replaced by the points made in the current tournament edition.

He could have just focused on cleaning everyone's clock every time. But that wouldn't have been cricket.

HMM.... I seen O'sullivan do this before in the opening frame against a lady much worse than him. He just sort of hit the ball around and seem to make errors and gave her the first frame as he MAY be doing with Akani. THEN he comes out faultless and tears up the table and the opponent NOW has his mind twisted and starts to doubt. This is how the top players use your mind against you. you doubt yourself and then your play suffers. Also against that youn lady, he didnt play hard, just social and gave her plenty of shots to hit and won easily anyway so Ronnie playing on TV knows when to be unbeatable and when just to make great TV which it was fun to watch as both players hit balls. A good player can tell very quickly what their opponent is like and weaknesses in their game.
Well he says he got "long covid" but we all know that means vax injured... Such a shame it put him out of commission. I hope he'll come back soon.
Interesting way to use the rest. I must try it the next time I'm playing snooker.
