How much did it cost to restore that tank? I thank you and all involved for saving that piece of history.

The real reason they paint the inside white is because white reflects light better. A little bit of light in a white interior makes it alot easier to see.

Should've kept it as the E9, much rarer to see than just a stock m4a1

Was this the hull and rotating jig from the TV show "Tank Overhaul" filmed at the Isle of Wight Tank Museum in the UK ?

Yeah I remember this was from that programme. I really loved watching that series, I really wish there was a new series and I would really love to see more tanks being restored.

That's a beautiful job, please tell me the main gun is operational. Nothing worse than restoring a great tank and destroying the gun to me. Maybe take it to Big Sandy shoot.

Is that a Canadian Sherman Turret???

Aircraft engine. Sure. I think they're still doing that with the Abrahams.

No. Some of the Shermans had a *rotary* aircraft engine, which still uses pistons. Whereas the Abrams tank uses a *gas-turbine* engine.

@@ct92404 You're missing my point. They're both engines normally seen in aircraft. U trollin or did u realize that?
