Your methodology is exceptional, Although I have a question at video time [9:49] when you were talking about how you guys were searching for heavy-duty dog bowls. I understand that yeti dog blow was patent BUT in the video at [9:49] you can clearly see another heavy-duty dog bowl at the bottom of the search named "CtilFelix Dog Bowl Stainless Steel". it looks the same as the one that you guys ordered for samples. So how is that possible? Isn't that illegal?
Hello, Jungle Scouts! Thanks to your spirit of making a very actual and factual videos although this was 2 years ago! I have one question for you guys, is it still good to start FBA private label in 2023? I know this is a common question but what I want to know is about the shipment from China to USA. Along the way you guys was selling on amazon, was there any issues on the shipment? Maybe because of politics, covid 19, or something else?
For shippers from China to the US, the coronavirus has been profoundly disruptive, causing significant delays to both manufacturing and shipping. Production in China is back to normal, but COVID-19's impact creates various other challenges, including high demand and delays at US ports and warehouses.
I wonder what if I ask the factory to change the shape of the bowls, let's say , a scquare, or a bowl with extra continer can hold water, is the "pantedted "issue still there? So confused about this patented problems.
i have one question: if i ask a manufacturer to make a modification to a item he already is selling but with modification is significant and transform the funcionality of the object, do i have to register as a patent? or not? thanks
When you ask a manufacturer to make a significant modification to an item that transforms its functionality, you are essentially creating a new product. Whether or not you need to register a patent depends on several factors: Novelty and Non-Obviousness: For a product to be patentable, it must be novel and non-obvious. This means that the modification should not be something that is already known or easily deducible by someone skilled in the field. Type of Patent: If your modification involves a new design, you might consider a design patent. If it involves a new functional aspect, a utility patent might be more appropriate. Legal Advice: It's highly recommended to consult with a patent attorney. They can conduct a thorough patent search to ensure that your modification does not infringe on existing patents and advise you on the best course of action. Cost and Resources: Consider whether you have the resources to pursue a patent. The process can be costly and time-consuming, but it can also provide significant protection and competitive advantage. Market Strategy: If you decide not to patent, you can still sell the product, but be aware that without patent protection, others could potentially copy your modification. In summary, while you are not required to register a patent to sell your modified product, doing so can protect your innovation and provide a competitive edge. Consulting with a legal professional is the best way to determine the necessity and feasibility of obtaining a patent for your specific situation.
Im confused about the patent. For the product i want like water bottle, manufacturer is actually advertising it is US Patent. But they are still selling it. So why cant we sell it?
Do you have any advice for products that have a patent in the USA but I'm looking to sell them in Canada? I did the Google Patent search and can't find my product on their listings, however one of the suppliers I contacted mentioned that there is a patent to sell in the USA. Additionally, on Amazon there are quite a few similar products that are being sold. I intend to speak to a professional but I'd appreciate your guidance as well (: Thank you!
To resell an Italian moka kettle with your logo, you need to follow the private label process, which involves a few important steps to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and intellectual property laws: Check for Patents and Trademarks: First, ensure that the specific design or features of the Italian moka kettle you want to sell are not patented. If the design is patented, you cannot legally sell it with your logo without permission from the patent holder. Similarly, ensure that the brand name you choose is not trademarked by someone else. Find a Generic Version: If the design is not patented, you can find a generic version of the moka kettle from a supplier, such as those on Alibaba. Make sure the product does not infringe on any existing patents or trademarks. Customize the Product: Work with the supplier to add your logo or brand name to the product. This customization is essential for private labeling. You cannot simply take an existing product and add your logo without making it your own through branding. Create Unique Packaging: Ensure that the packaging is also customized with your brand. Using someone else's packaging is against Amazon's rules and can confuse customers. Order Samples: Before placing a large order, request samples from the supplier to ensure the quality meets your standards. Suppliers often reimburse the cost of samples if you proceed with a larger order. Quality Inspection: Consider inspecting the products yourself or hiring a third-party inspection service to ensure the quality of the products before they are shipped to Amazon. Compliance with Amazon Policies: Make sure your product listing on Amazon complies with all of Amazon's policies, including those related to branding and intellectual property. By following these steps, you can legally and successfully sell a private label Italian moka kettle on Amazon with your logo.
what if I see one product design that so many seller selling and I apply for patent for this product so other sellers will be restricted to sell this product ???
Yes, you can report the other sellers, in case you will see another listing with the same design for the patent that you own if you did not authorize them.

I don't know why you even changed the way of shooting and presenting things from the first season. It should be Greg on a long 1h format, every year a new country (or at least every other year) and the most important thing: Showing sales and profit from previous seasons. This way of doing, it is pointless.

You need to ask permission to the patent owner to be able to resell the product.
Hi Lenny! Thank for videos it is very helpful. Do I have to create LLC in the beginning? Can I start FBA without it and then create it later? Thanks!
You will need to provide your business information during seller central registration so you will need LLC 😊 ^PW
