- Welcome back for another luxury home remodel in California. Rebecca returns to San Diego to tour Interior Designer Maria Barry’s recently completed home in the coveted “Bridges” neighborhood of Rancho Santa Fe.

PLEASE tell me which paint and shade was used on the Kitchen cupboards? It is not very clear on the video. We are renovating a large kitchen and I am trying to decide on a white for the old wood panels in some areas . Love the brushed gold with the silver too!

Rebecca, I remember seeing one of your videos of you meeting and consulting with a couple who lived near the border of Texas and Mexico and they decided that after the first of the year y’all would go to market and shop, shop, shop, so what happened to that project?

I loved how Maria didn't bulldoze all the old, but by resurfacing, faux painting and more brought the home up to date. It's a sin to demolish good stuff. Gorgeous light fixtures and appliances! The white subway tile, real plants and natural wood tones keep this estate very inviting and welcoming!

Maria has a calm way about her and she’s just easy to watch. The opposites of personality is really evident in these videos and the elegance that she is just cool and down to earth and doesn’t get obnoxious or ache for the spotlight.

My favorite thing is how she took all of the old orange-y wood and made it a light neutral color, flooring, ceiling, cabinets, doors …

I love how she utilized so many existing features without totally ripping everything apart, especially the kitchen. My favourite is the master bathroom and the flower wallpaper in the extra bathroom.
Could this be called a riff on Hollywood Regency? I'm paying attention to this one. When I win the lottery, this is how I'm decorating my condo!! I love it! Oh any inches of this project absolutely perfection …just before ending the video two lady seatings on chairs positioned under angle (not side by side )is as brilliant as whole project not missing any details make my heart happy…never gone live in home like that but make me happy to know some lucky people gone have chance to live in almost museum quality….zero depression house the best remodelling ever ❤

What a fabulous home! I love Maria’s taste, it’s classic but combined with Uber-modern and some serious glam. And she knows where to invest: those “cristallo” stone tops are just breathtaking. And the quarzite and an entire bed headboard made of madreperla?! My jaw dropped. It’s so fun to see you two ladies get along so well and such an honor to be invited to join your time together. Rebecca, I'd love for you to review this home's design style. I saw things that were industrial, traditional, glam, farmhouse, etc. but the end result was cohesive. How do you guys do that? I'd keep the outdoor fireplace; IMO it's a unique and beautiful structural focal point. I really loved those kitchen counters but the master bathroom light fixture was my favorite; looked like a crystal wisteria tree. Gorgeous! Thanks again, Rebecca. I always learn so much from you!

I am trying to pick my favorite thing, but so many things were my favorite, starting with the window and door transformations, the slurry rock, and the kitchen. Your bathroom is to die for. I agree with you on keeping the outdoor fireplace, unless the view it is obstructing is very expansive.

A beautiful transformation. Hard to pick a favourite but butlers pantry is amazing. Would love to see what Maria does with her next project. I love how she used what she already had in terms of repainting the armoire, changing out the glass in the windows and the kitchen cabinet doors. Really good to see that even in high end homes you can still be savvy with your money and be prepared to compromise. Great vlog ladies ! ❤

It’s difficult to choose a fave part of this fantastic video, but have to say the photo of the two of you in the bathtub! 😂. It’s even more difficult to pick a fave space because they’re all elegant, beautiful and filled with wonderful ideas, I love how open the glass is throughout and all the sophisticated trims of black.
