@@talentateknik6906 There is no need. That is the purpose of the THC. If the nozzle of the plasma torch is too far from the material, the THC reads the arc voltage and moves the z-axis down back into the constraints of optimal cutting. Conversely, if the nozzle is too close to the material, the THC will move the z-axis up. The arc voltage determines the distance the nozzle from the surface of the material, so the z-axis will always be at the perfect distance to the material, no matter how uneven the material is.

Wanted to ask at the end you said that it could accept high voltage so does that mean I don't need to divide my voltage from the plasma cutter and can straight wire from my high voltage board to those terminals? Let me know thanks.

Patrick, I want to thank you for sharing all this very well described and useful information for us CNC enthusiasts, I was wondering if you have any experience working with a combination of Mach4 and PoLabs Plasma Sense device connected directly to the PoExtension2 connector of Pokeys57CNC board, I mean without the PoLabs Torch Height Control Plasma Out device.

Hello, I acquired exactly the same equipment for my plasma cutter but on the other hand I have a Mach3 board USB lambda card and I cannot get the up and down to work. When I use test function it works but not at all when cutting. Is it mandatory to use the 57CNC card because I had read that the system could work with other cards!

The outputs for the plasmasenseout are simple digital signals of high and low on each terminal. As long as your controller can receive digital signals, you should be fine.

I am trying to fit a Dani THC to our plasma table. We have a Mach 3 CNC board and torch on is triggered via outputs and a relay. Having difficulty understanding where arc cable goes from the THC.

The THC should have either high voltage terminals or divided voltage terminals like the ones I sell in the video.

Good question, not sure. I don't have any experience with this board. The polabs folks can answer this question pretty quickly on their support page (ticket system).

In my trials I was unsuccessful. I would recommend the pokeys57cnc controller for this.
