Nnoitora is in my top 3 villains in bleach, he’s a very complex and a good villain. He’s very well written aswell, his character is supposed to be hated and kinda understandable too. Kubo really did him well
A part full of infos. Like you were asking before, upgrades or downgrades, changes in the Espadas ranking, can happen. The Privaron (technically previous 3-5-7) got demoted, Nnoitra scaled from 8 to 5, Luppi was a substitute as 6, and there's more. Even the overall level may change, not going in detail now, but Nelliel and Nnoitra are close now, and she's not stronger than Ulquiorra, just to say one. Nnoitra is a toxic misogynist envious madman, but precisely for that, he's impressive as villain, with his raw way of act and his "philosophy" of battle. That said, not a spoiler, but it's a bit out of place, since he didn't question (for what we know) the other female Espada in the group. Just one last thing, in the flashback, when Nnoitra talked to Aporro, he said "even though you're not an Espada?", but the translation in the manga was "you're not even an Espada anymore", which sounds different, and has an hidden meaning too.
