Punk vs Du is one of those matchups where it depends on the day, both men are some the most skilled to ever touch a stick. Its an honor seeing them box it out in every final in North America.
@@andrejones3711 Punk ever since the Cammy nerfs hasnt fully committed to polish his Cammy even further. Everytime against Du in an open tournament (online or offline), he usually doesn't go with Cammy against Du anymore because a player like Du, with the playstyle and skill of Du using Guile, it's so hard for a Cammy to beat Du because Cammy requires absolute concentration and you have to be sharp with your jump-ins, one hit confirms, od reversal, footsies, neutrals, and whiff punishes. Cammy is one of the most vanilla character where the player's skill carries the character and not the other way around. Thats why he opts for Akuma, a lesser skill required to win with than Cammy. It's not that even before the Cammy nerfs punk is labbing Cammy, he just plays the game without using the training room and labbing for specific matchups because hes a kind of player who is just better and more skilled than all of the players who worked and labbed hard, hes just naturally the most talented 2D fg player like Sonicfox. I guess people learn differently than others. There are people whom in order to get good, need to lab and use the training mode for specific matchups, and in the other hand there are people who don't need to lab or train in order to get good, they just need to play ranked matches and not even use their mains and enter online tourneys as means of a part of their warming up regime for offline majors/supermajors/super premiers/invitationals/world tours.
Punk's main training form is him entering online tourneys as it's really not training in the sense that you're labbing and experimenting. And punk's other and only training method is him watching twitter clips.
Punk vs Nuckledu has rapidly become one of my top 3 rivalries in street fighter. Each player is absurdly skilled in their own way, and both are imo the best representatives of NA region in SF6.
Akuma generally can’t do much against Guile with fireball other than beating boom with OD Hadoken and he didn’t have any follow up after that either. Trying to get up close against Guile is a right call on this match up.
I get off work and finally got time to watch all of ceotaku And the algorithm blesses me with your video spoiling grand finals. I'm not gonna bash you brother. But i really hated that. Like when ti threw money in big boi mouth in atl
air fireballs need a buff.. preferably the ex one.. in 5 that would blow up all flash kicks except the EX... this needs to be in 6.. its too easy for guile to sit back and just wait
@@xNightMareEffecT Mr. Youtueber i think you got it mistaken and mixed up for Paladin vs Punk losers finals. He didn't go Cammy at Ceotaku 2024 against Du in winners and in losers, not even for a single game, he did however switch from Akuma to Cammy game 3 with a 1-1 score against Paladin in losers finals! I think the reasoing is Cammy vs Guile where the one who's piloting Guile is Du, the Cammy player has to be sharp at all times, the anti-airs, the od reversal, the one hit confirms, whif punises, footsies, and neutral, where in using Akuma, you don't have to be as sharp as when youre piloting Cammy.

I find the jokes around "where that money that you owned me" a bit insensitive. Because real people get huge injuries or even die because of this mindset that debtors are somehow "allowed" to beat them.
I've hated Guile as a character since SF2, but I also don't like Punk as a person, wasn't sure who I wanted to see walk away with the "W" here, but I do have a new appreciation for Guile in this set, especially going up against Akuma. All I can say is, "good fight"; Punk looked like the better player in the first set or rounds, seeming like a reset was inevitable, then got outplayed by Nuckledu during the last set of rounds. GG!?
And what have you won... Actually what have you even come close to winning? Exactly. Peasants shouldn't speak when they have no experience at being a pro player.
Air fireball is a delayed jump afterall so of course it get stuffed by anti-air. It isn’t a disadvantage you already put yourself at risk when you committed a jump
@@xNightMareEffecT I'd be open to Akuma having a stronger air fireball if they swapped his ground fireball with Ryu's. That would enhance the uniqueness of both characters.
Ngl Nuckledu getting the exact meter for the level three was actually disgusting.
That part!

Straight facts with this one
I actually need to start training with nuckledu more often
Your commentary skills are pretty good man. I wouldnt mind logging into a tournament and you're behind the mic keeping the show interesting
He got the commentary down! Wish we can see him on the big stage
That was some godly Guile play.
If Punk took Ken seriously I think he’d be unbeatable.
15:49 that hoodie Du got on is CLEAN tho! Ngl!

lol 😂 where’s my money 💰 Brian, where’s my money 💰 😂
He had to pay his dues LOL
That final Lvl 3 combo by Du...dang!
"You reach, I teach." Love that!
People be reaching them hands out they gotta learn the hard way LOL
It’s a basketball saying for defensive players who “reach” in defensively and the offense gets the breakaway or pulls up to shoot. Works here too.
@comebackcosmo9284 it's JORDAN saying that is used by basketball players since. Give props to the source 💯
4:53 that reset was super dirty
Hella dirty 🤧🤧
This games are what made me love fighthing games the complexity the pros bring the mind games and the awesome comebacks
Its a beautiful thing
Grand finals was lit!
Good set indeed
Thing is Punk didn’t play the fire 🔥 ball ⚽️ game with Du. He plays Akuma like Cammy.
Kind of hard to constantly wanna play the fireball game against guile though 👀👀
