- This is a mini Sicily travel guide. Corleone Sicily, is maybe one of my favorite places I've been. It may not be the usual getaway but I can recommend it. If you're wanting to travel Sicily and especially if you have a car spending a day or two in a place like Corleone can be quite a unique experience. Sicily, Italy was way beyond any of my expectations and I absolutely can't wait to go back to visit Sicily and see more.

I’m in love with Balestrate Sicily. Stayed there for 5 weeks at my son In-laws home. I love Sicily 🌺❤️🌺
It's kinda amazing to think that Pacino's father, Sal Pacino, is originally from Corleone. What a coincidence
I just wanted to say you got a beautiful voice, when I listen to you I feel quite relaxed! You should work as a radio speaker :)).
Hey there Lena ^_^
Thank you very much!
That’s quite the compliment.
Haha actually when I was younger I really wanted to get into radio, and that’s actually part of why I got into TH-cam. I also have done som of voiceover work and voice acting. For sure something I would love to get back into and do more of.
I am going this September, and am very excited! I do worry about not speaking the language, but I really want to just chill, and forget about work here in the U.S for a couple of days.
I'm late to this video . I appreciate your voice. Soothing.
Ciao Rafael, a very enjoyable video once again! So many foreigners when they visit do not take opportunity to know the small towns, meet and talk to the people. They are missing the real Italy! Even if they know only a little italian, that is enough to open hearts!
Ciao Giovanni!
You're absoulutely right! being able to make those connections is makes up what is part of the "real" Italy
Rafi, the most awesomeist video ever!! Absolutely fantastic!! Thanks very much for sharing. -Joe
Thank you Joe!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it, thank you for coming to check it out!!! ^_^
Beautiful video
Thank you Paolo ^_^
I love being SICILIAN. 😎☀️
Hi Rafael! Corleone is adorable and beautiful 😍💙 I can see why you love it so much!!! I
It was such a fun little place, I can’t wait to go back! ^_^
Awesome 😊! I hope that one day I will be able to visit there as well!
Thanks for this video Rafael. This is the place that I want to be in.
Thanks for coming to check out the video :)
It’s a unique little place to go for a vacation. Loved it ^_^
Anyway i visited this village/city just because it’s Corleone. If there’s no car, it’d feel as if you go back to the past. The vibe was just different
Dude your voice sounds like a narrator from medicine tv ads 😂 fortunately, thats what made me decided to stay and like your video :)
Mi piace molto questa tipologia di video, se aggiungi delle riprese del cibo locale diventa perfetto.
My ancestors Muthaland! 😁🇮🇹
haha, I had a feeling you might be interested in this one ;)
Perfeito
Im from Corleone
Who else came here after watching GODFATHER?
In the real life this place was home of Toto Riina, Bernardo Provenzano, Luciano Leggio...... (real gangsters). They controlled all of Sicily. The Godfather is not based on a true story.
😂💯
How long is the drive from Palermo to Corleone?
If I remember correctly, roughly an hour... but you might want to check Google maps because I know there are at least a couple of ways to get there
A Place we all MUST visit! History Spot Very Hot!
Rafael, I love the idea of the merch. I visited the site to get a peek. My only suggestion would be to offer the clothing without the white box. In other words, have the lettering in white, on the solid color shirt or hoodie. Just my opinion, but I would be more apt to buy that design than the current one. Curious how others may feel.
Hey thanks for the feedback. I’ll try throwing together a few designs without the boxed designs and see what can work.
Might take me a few days but if you’re interested feel free to send me an email or message on Facebook and I’ll send you a link when they’re up :)
did u met don corleone?
Nope but I learned about the dark history that the locals are trying to move past. It's a wonderful comunity, it's a shame that the movies cast a dark light on it.
@@RafaelDiFuria why is it a shame tho?
@@happyarsy9109 the films have horribly misrepresented the average person of the town and glorified a very dark part of their history. The people there are kind and warm and welcoming. If you ever go, I reccomend going to their well known museum which focuses on this aspect of the town’s history
@@RafaelDiFuria oh i just know that :) thx for the sharing bro! preciate it.
Did you meet Don Vito? :D
Any chance you'll make one that says "That's It, I'm Moving to Sweden!"? 😂
Haha
But seriously, sure I’m happy to make other shirts and designs. If you’re serious let me know and I’ll get started on it :)
Rafael Di Furia That would be so cool and I would definitely buy one, but please don't do it if it might be an inconvenience or if you might lose money in some way.
No no, nothing will be lost, thankfully with the site I’ve decided to use, there’s no necessary financial investment on my end. Only the time in designing it. I actually was thinking it could be interesting to do different countries. So this is a nice little push to do it ;)
I’ll send you a message when it’s up online :)
The Godfather
30 euro??? It is too much for Sicily even in Paris I was renting for 26
Any expats live here. I know there are cheap houses. I want to move to Sicily but have no idea where. I need to feel safe as a single lady. Maybe further down towards Messina?????

Do i have to worry about the mafia?
Das Video ist viel zu schnell. Man kann kaum so schnell schauen!
Thanks for sharing your opinion
