- Recognized officially as the oldest restaurant in Canada, Montreal's Auberge Saint-Gabriel has been open since 1754 and is one of North America's oldest eating establishments. Housed in a building from 1688, the restaurant has earned a well-deserved reputation for its amazing fine-dining food, historic colonial ambiance and creepy ghost stories.

It is a shame that Auberge Pierre-du-Calvet has closed, which used to be the oldest restaurant in Montreal, as it dated back to 1725. It was a wonderful restaurant, and they also had incredible rooms that were great for a romantic weekend. I miss that place very much.
Ohhh, the anticipation ... I've set my notification.👍🏼 Whenever I stroll down this short block and then stop in front of le restaurant while facing the beautiful church, I definitely feel as if I'm in the 18th century. Gives me good chills!😊 Je l'aime le Vieux-Montréal!💋

Pretty cool on the outside, tacky af on the inside. If I'm gunnah eat in an almost 300 year old building, I want it to look like it did 300 years ago.
Lots of bad footage I would remove. i know you grab from other YT people ( like mine) but some are just too corrupted image . My advice
