Also it's contradict to what you state, people are being biased, just because the group is popular it's doesn't always mean the song is good. I'm multi stan kpop fan and I also listen to another genre. I listen to everything that I want. Being a true kpop stan doesn't always mean you have to like every kpop songs. If the song is good, it's good, if it's not, then it's not, regardless you stan the group or not.

So 1 year has passed and this song is still so wonderful, so fresh as when it was first released. I wasn't into kpop back then. I read about Youha some time later in an article about underrated debuts and I instantly fell in love. To this day I can't comprehend how this song is not a massive hit. The beautiful lyrics are perfectly matched by wonderful music, brilliant video with lovely landscapes, the choreo, and most importantly the amazing, passionate vocals. There is not a single weak spot. This song is perfect and is a brilliant start to what is becoming a successful career. You deserve the world, my Queen.

Youha's real name (used to) Im Suah. She legally changed her name to Im Youha *(EDIT)*
She's is a 99 liner debuted with the stage name Youha under Universal Music Korea (UMK). She used to be a YG Trainee for 10 years (Joined 2011), She used to be part of Future 2NE1 but in 2019 she left the company & in early 2020 she joined UMK. She friends with Mystic Moon Sua, Purple Kiss Chaein (stage name) Lee Chae-young (real name) had hang out with them after leaving YG & did an IG LIVE together. 😃 Youha wrote the lyrics for her debut single *< ISLAND >* by herself and also participate in composing as well.

I like how her acting fits the lyrics, it‘s like she is enacting the lyrics with her gestures and facial expressions. It shows that she is much more involved with her music than idols usually are
literally the best debut. i think she should get some promotions (like covering popular songs/similar to stayc, appearing in public's eyes more) other than music shows, and it'll gain her a L O T fans considering this is a masterpiece!! she was part of F2NE1 which should get her more popularity

I think she's supposed to be the main vocalist of the "Future 2NE1" lineup. She sounds really good...and she somehow looks like a mix of Mamamoo's Wheein and Fei from Miss A.
I found her purely based on her voice and her discography after randomly listening to songs on spotify and decided to check her out. She is super talented and I can see that she has the potential to become a top K-Pop artist someday. All the best to her :) Fighting Youha!
