Look man you do not have to keep your windows down… you can crack the window… and this is not football 🏈…. You have pigs that has a ego bigger then a football 🏈 field They think that everyone should kiss there boots 🥾 and that’s a no no…. I mean I don’t see anything wrong what the bro did it’s the cops 👮♀️ that think that you should bow down to them NO
WELL SAID but you overlooked 1 key factor. Cops are the professionals not the citizens, cops knew that situation carried extremely low risk to danger and you acknowledged as much, although I can make it beyond doubt of no dangerous risk. The behavior of Tyreek didn't warrant the physicality nor the disrespectful demeaning comments about him crying. Cop could have just wrote the ticket and that would've been it, he tried to escalate and the nonprofessional who is Tyreek did a poor job in handling the encounter but he is the novice. Cops need to be trained better on situational awareness! Very bad decision making when using physical violence. Cops should take the temp down. Traffic engagements need to not be violent period.
Compton to Columbia, you can't be fooled by either side big homie. Great analysis of the body camera footage. I wish every driver in the U.S. could listen and actually understand what you just covered; it would literally save lives. Love the football analogies about setting the tone. Hill set the tone before the traffic stop even got started; ultimately leading him to be handcuffed. They say ignorance is bliss. Thank you for trying to make folks less ignorant by speaking facts. We can only hope folks can comprehend. I try daily to preach to both sides as well by educating as many people as I can on similar topics.
@@jdsalazar45 once again your logic is flawed! Citizens aren't lawyers and are not educated on such matters. Cops aren't either but are supposed to enforce the law that they don't know either which is why we have so many issues. They do have more engagements and should have been taught how to do a better job instead of putting blame on the ignorant citizens. Police are doing a poor job because they aren't being punished for unprofessionalism.
I would like to start by saying kudos for searching for the truth. I've seen several other videos that align with this one. Given that you haven't, you might reconsider the people/groups you are subscribed to. If their judgment is off on this, you may be getting biased info on lots of other things.
Truth??? Here is a bit of truth for you, dummy. This officer has been suspended from the force 6 times and has multiple excessive force complaints that were actionable. How's that for truth, you dope?
Thank you Marcellus Wiley. As a Floridian that grew up in Miami, I've always loved our police and our football team. When I first heard that TH's touch down celebration was due to issues with the police, I had to look into it. I watched pretty much the whole game and recall TH saying "I dont know" when they asked him what happened with the police. TH later (September 9th) tweeted "lets make a change" and stressed how everyone needs to get a long. When Miami-Dade county police released the whole body cam, it helped everyone understand that TH simply cannot take responsibility for his actions. Doing over 60 miles in a 40 miles zone while construction is taking place and yet feels the need to play the race card. I totally lost respect for Ty Hill and the rest of the players that stuck up for him. Needless to say that fakenews CNN had to run and edit the Miami-Dade police footage to fix a narrative. Mainstream media has a lot to do in why this country is so divided.
@@arthurcanet1014 Great comment. And this is why I say to others wait untill you see the whole videos of things of innocents like this take place. See Eisenhower, JFK a d others warned us about this behavior& agenda of the commie/Marxists. We have get back to the basics! God, country, family!
@@artsamuel2907 The talk has nothing to do with race is my whole point. It has to do with not doing something stupid. If you're stopped for something minor cops do have discretion on speeding violations, if you're respectful you're more likely to get a warning. My parents also instilled the whole mindset of treat others how you want to be treated. Just giving someone a hard time for doing their job is stupid.
Clearly, DWB is a real thing that black people have to contend with every time they set off in an automobile. But if you parents are teaching your children that anything about the way Hill and his teammates handled a simple traffic stop was appropriate, then you might have a look in the mirror because you're a part of the problem.
Marcellus! You probably don't remember but in 2001 when the All Star Game was in DC, me and you played one on one outside at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Arlington VA. It was late at night and I was practicing basketball by myself and you were randomly walking by and decided to shoot with me. I didn't know who you were at first, but I told you my mom was from Buffalo through natural conversation and ironically you told me you played for the Bills. I was 14, you were calling me baby Iverson because I had cornrows and I remember you gave me a slice of pizza and a Mountain Dew lol. I didn't tell you at the time, but my father had passed away suddenly 3 months before that from a heart attack... I always have remembered your kindness in that moment to this day and how you were such a genuine person. You have no idea how much light you gave me during a very dark time in my life, my mother and I will always love you for that and you will always be dat dude. I don't know if you'll see this, but much love bro! 🙏
You sir are the first person who actually called a spade a spade. Everyones crying police brutality when tyrek clearly felt he should be allowed to act out vs a officer.
Four officers there... Cop had his license 18 minutes... No tickets written in that time... What's taking SO melon-farming long to write a ticket (or two)?!!
@notoriousbid3169 what happens when you act a fool during a traffic stop? Matterfact go test it out. Speed down a street where a cop is when he or she pulls u over don't comply just act a fool and tell for the culture tell me what happend.. I'll wait
Cops gave conflicting orders... Roll down the window (which is NOT a lawful order) or I'm taking you out of the car... As a matter of fact, get out of the car!! This sounds like cop hasn't made up his mind nor given clear decisive orders... Cops CAN take you out of the car when they have reason to believe (not just a "hunch") that you're armed AND dangerous!! When did they make that determination? There was absolutely no reason that it took three cops to tackle Hill!! He was trying to get out!! Hill is saying so (for those who wanna use Hill's words against him)... Hill was not resisting exiting from the vehicle... Cops CAN utilize force but it should ALWAYS be matched to the level of resistance (this is law which WASN'T referenced)... The fact that Hill was willing and attempting to get out means that the force was excessive!! Don't believe everything said by folx who really don't know the law (well enough)...
@@brianharris9949Lucky that he didn't get shot? For what? For a Cop to shoot a citizen, cops needs to witness a specific life-threatening event!! Cops knew whom Hill was!! They're on a detail outside of a stadium which has players arriving on a schedule!! Cops knew (or should have known)... This is known as the Reasonable Man (Person) Standard...
Not true, Pennsylvania vs. Mims established that traffic stops are inherently dangerous and offers have the lawful authority to order a motorist out of a vehicle during a traffic stop. Mr. Hill’s refusal to roll down his window and obvious belligerent demeanor are both red flags for the officer. He then orders Mr. Hill out of the vehicle and he doesn’t comply. He then physically resists the officer’s lawful attempt to remove him from the vehicle. Mr. Hill wasn’t injured (evidenced by him catching a touchdown pass in a damn NFL game a few hours later). The narrative that Mr. Hill is somehow a “victim” is nonsense. Just because someone is good at sports and makes $30 million a year doesn’t make him exempt from the law. ESPN, ABC and all the other woke media outlets make me sick with how they try to portray Mr. Hill as a victim. Disgusting
Marcellus, thanks for calling out the bull___t of Tyreek Hill. That show you used to be on went 0-4 when discussing this situation. Tyreek Hill is not a role model for young kids to follow and was not a victim in this incident. The Raiders recently lost a WR for his issues in a sports car. Now Tyreek wants to say you can't be a black man in a nice car, well you can Tyreek, but you can't be an idiot in a sports car.

I’m going to assume you are speaking in general and not specifically about this video because I didn’t see any excessive force in that video. If anything I thought the officers showed a lot of restraint given circumstances. Probably could have gotten off with a ticket and even cut the speeding amount down by being polite. I'm sorry officer, I was running late to the game. Rolls down window. Takes ticket and drives off.
In any state, if you have dark tint like that, a LEO has the right to order your window down for their safety. This has been upheld many times in court.
Not true at all. If tinted windows are legal in your state that is because the citizenry and the state wanted it. You do not have to keep your window rolled down on a routine traffic stop. You don’t even have to keep your window rolled down if you don’t have tints. You do have to roll the window down enough to give the officer your information. You don’t even have to take the ticket if you don’t want to. An officer cannot make you get out of your car on a routine traffic stop. It’s your choice if you are asked. For an officer to state that they are fearing for their safety and use that as probable cause to illegally and forcibly get you out of your car on a routine traffic stop is illegal. For an officer to knock on your window is not standard procedure either. The officer got mad when Tyreek told him not to knock on his window. It was all ego after that and that’s why they got him out of his car on a routine traffic stop. He broke no laws other than the traffic laws that they wrote him tickets for, and that will be determined in court. People do not know the law or their rights. I am a retired police officer. Right is right and wrong is wrong all day every day.

Should I talk back with the police and be uncooperative? Am I living in a different world? Then I listened to Wiley, and what he says makes a lot of sense. I was told not to play games with the police as well.

Mr. Wiley, I appreciate you putting this to light. The bodycam doesn’t lie. Your review shows truth and objectivity. I disagree with SAS opinion on TH’s situation. TH wasn’t cooperative when commands from the police were verbally communicated. And I noticed he lied when he was in handcuffs and while he was in his car. I appreciate you breaking down this bodycam!!
Way too much chirping. These are lawful commands. We entrust are police officers to keep our society safe. These are human experiences. Just fall in line. Reply respectfully and to the point. The rest is just commentary In no way did this have to escalate Ill say it again, Hill strikes a pedestrian or construction worker, then what?
Man look at all that oppression with 2 300k cars. Plus the windows are so tinted there is no way the cop knew what color he was when the stop was initiated. MW great perspectives on this incident!
I'm a die-hard Miami fan, and I'm actually a Tyreek fan too. I have his jersey, but Tyreek acted up. That 2nd cop did come in extra hot though, but it would've never gotten to that if Tyreek complied. I feel bad for Tyreek but he was playing games. I am right with you on your assessment Marcellus. Even the cop opening the hypercar's door, lol, I was like how'd he know how to open that.
That's when you as a cop deduce what are the odds TH is going to run or shot me? Has a young athlete in there prime ever after being pulled over for traffic stop attacked an officer?
He was going over 100 in a construction zone which can get you to jail right there. Not following directions. Not following commands. Don't play games. Police don't have time for games and traffic stops kill police often. Don't tell cops what to do as well, and say it lie he did. Then he has the nerve to say later he might of been shot if he was himself, and his attorney said "I think I might of heard the cop say he was going to break the window", what? You might of heard?????? No you didn't since your unsure. The news only played the footage from the cops at hands on and nothing before that. Then he also said on news " He could of ran and got to the stadium and been gone". So you would of ran as well. No sympathy here. He is in the wrong. Also learn and teach your kids to talk right to police. Easy! No race card here either. Stop it!
Compliance and cooperation can be the difference between a warning/ticket and getting shot/arrested. If it was just 4-6 dudes with guns that had you hemmed up I bet yo ass would have listened and rolled that mf'ing window down and kept it there. But, since they were cops you think you get a pass to act out of pocket? Nah man. It don't work that way. I got snatched the f out of my car once for acting like a fool after the cops finally decided to match my energy. Can't be mad at that. That was 23 years ago. Never forgot that lesson.
You do realize that the police have a lawful duty to enforce the laws faithfully and not to abuse their authority that is placed in them by the public. Why do you all think the police get a free pass. Why should you have to chose between life and death for an encounter with an agency that is there to PROTECT AND SERVE NOT DICTATE!

I’m a white man, 27, from DFW, TX. When I googled this I only saw race baiting headlines. I’d like to think my search history is objective, so the algorithms weren’t just playing me. After searching through countless videos that were cut to fit that narrative, I was able to form my own opinion. First thing I did afterwards: find a black person commentating on the issue. You’re the first dude that popped up. Had no clue who you were beforehand. 100% agreed with every word I heard; you had a great father and if you’re a father, your kids are damn lucky. It’s incredibly nice to see a good man with a large viewer base come at an issue with a level head while accounting for bias and pursuing objective TRUTH. I don’t see any men of any color speak this well, and it’s a shame. Especially in times like these. All that said, it’s nice to see a well-composed black man discuss this, and related, subject(s). Your education, background, and HOF career are a big plus. Not only does it help you relate to black Americans, and be a guide to them, but also white Americans. A lot of white folks are either scared to speak up or just don’t because they feel it doesn’t immediately concern them, whether they’re right or wrong. And when a lot of white folks do, even if nicely put, it doesn’t hold the same weight as it would if a black man had said it. I’m not pulling an uno reverse race card here, and there’s many variables that factor into the equation that makes what I said so. From my personal experience, which may be biased, that seems to be the case. So it’s nice to see someone who can break barriers. In Texas, I see a lot of polarization. If you list a number of facts to a big audience, and a good number of those facts go to support unreasonable beliefs. Obviously, it’s the same in too many places online, further perpetuating the bullshit. Luckily, I also had a great father growing up. I’m not sure what your plans for the future are, and I’m sure what I’m about to encourage sounds like a pain in the ass, and maybe surreal, but: Man, if you ran for president, I would vote for you in a heartbeat. I know nothing of your beliefs on other topics, however seeing your core principles on full display gives me absolute confidence that you would do your best to pursue objective TRUTH while maintaining your humanity and humility. I may be preaching to the choir but that’s more important than anything you currently know. How to think and logically process new information is more important than a Wiki-like database of existing information. It may seem like a long-shot, but your background, education, career, core principles, and demeanor all make you a relatable person. Regardless of differences and mistakes, Obama and Bush were both GOOD MEN. Good people. Level headed, principled, diligent. Then came 2016, and things haven’t been the same. Kamala is ok on the surface, I’d like to see how she thinks behind the curtain, but she plays the political game, panders to her voter base even if just by remaining silent on some topics, so on and so forth. We need a straightforward, no bullshit, but still able to empathize the bullshit (to an extent; I feel you have a good handle on that) person in office. This may be a wild proposition from a random TH-cam comment whose author knows nothing about you and is deeply disappointed in public sentiments, but it’s true man! At the end of the day, you do you, I’m sure you’ll make an impact regardless. Stay well.

Mr. Hill was driving recklessly. He then was rude and acting aggressive tords the officer. Hum? He then actively disobeyed lawful orders given for the safety of both officer and citizen. Mr. Hill should have been arrested. This was not a race incident. The officers are Hispanic(not that that matters). Mr. Hill is over privileged STAR who believes he is above the law.
Good afternoon. Respectfully, a ticket is in leu of arrest. The officer does not have to issue a ticket. The officer has discretion. A lawful order is any instructions given during a lawful stop. Mr. Hill, in his arrogance and ignorance, chose not to follow the lawful orders, and the officer chose to use his discretion to make an arrest. Mr. Hill committed the infraction of speeding, forcing the officer to take action over Mr. Hills reckless behavior.
I did not say any instructions. The instructions have to be lawful in the context of the situation. Did you watch the video? Please look at the facts of the video. Do not let your feelings get in the way of the facts. Mr. Hill was given lawful orders that any officers would have given for the safety of the citizens and officers doing the car stop. What do you do for a living? Are there rules and regulations in your field?
Mr. Wiley, TH was an idiot and a jerk for escalating this situation. He should know better. Behavior before color, you say. If that window rolls down and the occupant was Steven Ross, 80 year old billionaire owner of the Miami Dolphins. If he rolls the tinted window back up, gets on the phone, and vocally complains about the officers, does Steven Ross end up face-down on the road being handcuffed? If you say YES, ...let's just say I would disagree with you.

Agree 100% with Marcellus. For those saying there is no law that requires rolling down the window, you are off. The officer is permitted to give orders to avoid endangering himself or the public. By not rolling down the window of a tinted car, the officer is in danger if the driver reaches for a gun or other weapon because he can't see what the driver is doing. And, the officer did not "bang" on the window. He just knocked. Comply.

@mcdiesel7505 if the police are professional; then the citizen should follow lawfull orders. So a simple ticket does not become more serious.

In any state, if you have dark tint like that, a LEO has the right to order your window down for their safety. This has been upheld many times in court.
He wasn't stopped for tint, it was for speeding, we saw into the car, and no tint meter was involved that I saw.
I’m not sure what your plans for the future are, and I’m sure what I’m about to encourage sounds like a pain in the ass, and maybe surreal, but:
Man, if you ran for president, I would vote for you in a heartbeat.
Stay well.
Racist Refuse here among other inane rationales dude
Is soooooooo Embarrassing some black people with everything about Ratcism
ratcism 😂🤣
I agree with everything but you didn't hold the cop accountable for loosing composure and not descalating the situation
The LEO did NOT escalate the situation. With all the extra attention the officer did a great job with remaining composed.
Thank you Marcellus for your unbiased review of this situation and your respect for law and order.
The white pro golfer was handcuffed and arrested for a construction zone violation several months ago. There’s a lot of self importance that comes with being wealthy.
Scheffler was actually complying too. One officer told him to go, and another grabbed his vehicle lol
He was on the ground? Knee in his back? thats the point
@@xavierb9061 no, because he actually followed instructions.
@@lRosettaStonedl lol yes he was arrested for following instructions..raist say anythi g
@@xavierb9061 yes, he was. That’s why they dropped the charges and apologized.
Bro, this messaging needs to go viral cuz the knowledge you’re giving is 1mil% correct. I tell my son, kids I coached, and everyone in between to do exactly what you said. I also see this through the same POV as you. Reek seating a bad example of how to handle yourself. Go look at the brothers response that were mistreated in Starbucks in PA I believe. They complied, sued, got paid, and live to talk about it.
You’re absolutely correct I do believe everything except arresting him that’s a bit much and a power trip on both parties
What lawful orders? Y’all just make shit up. They could have given him his ticket and kept it moving. Police can’t just tell you anything
@@Count-kp3oy any instruction? Really? And good afternoon to you too. Please try again. I think you’re explaining a direct order.
Great show bro thank you all facts.
Mr. Wiley,
TH was an idiot and a jerk for escalating this situation.
If you say YES, ...let's just say I would disagree with you.
we really comparing and 80 yo man to any athlete in his prime? And most 80 yo billionaires don't drive their own cars. lol
But TH is no an owner, they tax brackets are waaaay different💯 Silly comment
See what happened to Scottie Scheffler? He didn't even act like Tyreek but got arrested and had a mugshot taken.
@@NZZN666 This is why I try to tell people not to get emotional. This ish truly does happen to everyone.
Don't play stupid like TH. The police deal with trash like this every day
Best line “you had surgery in your ears” 12:46 😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁
Bro Miami cops don’t play any games.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Won't be funny when u get pulled over n treated like shit!
@@1HelluvaGuyBX been pulled over plenty with over 3m otr bunch of decent conversations and court appearances to get my tickets dismissed or reduced. think I’ll be okay.
Comply.
RESPECT… these disciplined officers… They do not take any BS… It’s comply… We’re not playing any other games… God bless them!! I’m sure they would’ve done everything the same with Joe blow nobody…
sir, with all due respect, the officer turned and was going to walk away to his computer. what if it was raining, can he roll up his window then? what's that? no rain? well there was no gun or other weapon. you can "what if" all you want but they opened that door and pulled him out without guns drawn so they for sure knew there was no threat.
i agree, Tyreek was being an idiot but how is that threatening? you all say just comply and they'll let you go without a ticket. maybe, the policeman should just do his job, write up the ticket and everyone goes their way. don't you Americans have something called the first amendment, free speech or something? you are allowed to be jerk, it's not illegal.
i didn't want to say it before the evidence came out but now we know there is no radar of his speed, there is no video, damage, injuries or accident from careless driving. maybe just maybe, Tyreek (who i really don't like because he beats his wife and child) was upset at being pulled over for nothing. And maybe, that's why officer Torres is suspended. I apologize for the intensity, i've been reading a lot of comments and i went a little crazy there for a bit
Mr. Wiley there couldn’t be a better assessment of this “interaction”. Thank you sir & God Bless you.
The Miami Dolphins telling you that these were violent rasist police officers, and you have a video to the contrary, I think they should apologize.
ESPN pulled the race card
I wish Marcellus was on First Take or Get Up this morning to provide a little levity. Because there was absolutely none on either show.
They don't want that .
