- Highlights from the fantastic pre 90 teams. Included is the war between TWT and Team Black, as well as, the Silver Boys and Blooz Boys!! Loads of cool cars, loads of crashes and some very big wrecks all included! Also, a selection of slow motion crashes are at the end of the video!!!

Where do they get some of these cars? The old Cadillac looked like it had show quality chrome on it and a straight body. In the US, a straight car like that starts at $30000 and goes up. Even the bumpers on that are worth several thousand here.

Those European banger boys are crazy regarding rare cars.
There’s often a prize for more interesting / rarest car. Some of the racers will pay five figures for a decent car just to wreck it.
Chrome definitely looked good on that ‘57 as was the trim but you can see the mechanical parts and interior were already removed, hopefully they went to restorers.
Shame 97 decided to hit on the infield and Overy hit twice after the Reds. Apart from that a cracking meeting

I've only just realized why everyone uses cranes. I mean you can't really wheel them up the ramp anymore can you? I feel quite dumb.
I love demolition derbys and banger races but it still kinda hurts seeing those oldtimers get wrecked they probably have problems and thats why they are there but i still keep chewing on the thought some of them could maybe be safed 😅

I nearly cried seeing that 57 Caddy destroyed . But who oh why would anyone enter a 57 Caddy ? Was it rusted so bad it couldnt be saved ?
Could at least save all the stainless trim if the rust is to far gone , 2 door makes it even rarer too . Definitely would made a good parts car for someone .
My friend tried to buy the front bumper off him, but he wasn't having any of it. So much for the bullshit that they sell all good useable parts to help others.

Best bangers I have seen for a while, glad we went to this one, had a break after watching much car saving and hardly any banging at Lynn the last few events we went to, this was proper again thankfully.

Some keep it original, some put in 2.3 Ford galaxy, some put straight 6 jag lumps…

Okay, some of you European race fans, please explain? Is the goal to hit as many cars as you can? I can't decide if this is a demolition derby using the entire track or what? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the video. I just don't understand.
Well in short, it's a race. First to complete 10 or 15 laps wins. However.... there are many who just want to entertain the crown and wreck as much stuff as they can. These guys are known as the 'wreckers' the drivers who want to win are known as 'rodders' (from hot rod). Add to this teams, where members from one team try and stop the rodders from another team winning. Now add another element -payback. Drivers like to settle scores on the track and rival teams can become involved in mini 'wars' against each other where the aim of the race becomes pure destruction. In short it's simply a full contact race where you can win yourself or simply stop others from doing so.

@@TN-Vols-Fan Thanks ! If you skip to 13:03 you can see an ongoing three -way war taking place with what starts with the destruction of the grey team TGB caddy, by the Jags of team black. Then the gladiators get involved who have the white cars with red roofs. There's no racing involved at this stage, scores are being settled and the teams are just out for pure destruction plus theirs (and our) entertainment. When you follow the 'sport' for a while it's less confusing and you get to know who is at war with who, who is out for a bit of revenge and then you can make sense of the chaos !
