I really don't know anything about logging, but I really enjoy watching your channel. When I was 12 & 13 I lived in Albany, Georgia and my step-dad would take me with him over to Blakely, Georgia to cut red oak and white to sell for firewood in the winter time. I kind of miss it lol
The pete is even in your favorite color and the type of loader you like. You should buy it for your dad for his birthday haha.Keep up the great video's
Those timber pros are the real deal. There are 3 down in my area. I will have one before too long. You wouldn't believe it but they do a real job in the woods. They can make the woods look better than a hand falling crew with a good operator.
+Dusty Renfrow, I'd like to see one in action, everything you just said about them I've heard to be true! I don't think I could ever buy enough timber to justify having one but it would be nice!
Turner Logging, LLC Oh I know man. They are def for production operations like I run. But they are amazing machines. For a long time I never thought they would be feasible to run in our area and for select cuts, but I've seen them in action in operations like I run and I couldn't have been more wrong. I will use my rubber tire buncher for now but I will eventually own one.
On another note, I would love to go check show out. I've been around alot of the equipment you showed in the video but if love to see it all in one place. Be cool to meet Wade too.
And after a quick little search (and if ritchiespecs is to be believed) the 602 matches up almost perfectly to a 540G III or 518 in width and height. A little longer but not too much. Yeah it’s gonna be a success
+Nellson Stout, there are still enough of us select cut guys left we need skidder options, I really think Tigercat hit a home run with this one! Now if only Deere and Cat would follow suit and start making these small machines again! Thank you for watching!
Wow you have never seen a skidder with the back end like that, the best cable skidder ever made was built like that. The cat 518 to 518C, made from 70s to 93. Had a 508 and 528 also.
Awesome vid! Stay small the hell with the big stuff! I run a 648L JD an every day i wish i could do what you do! It's how i started logging an miss it every day!
Turner Logging, LLC no problem, I should have thought about getting ahold of you earlier, I was asking all them guys over at wades booth if they had seen you and they said try Snapchat I never even thought about that lol, I'm still computer illiterate
at the end of the day you will put more money in your pocket if you keep doing what your doing. It is better to own your equipment rather than the equipment own you.
Thanks for Tour !
Thanks for the walk around.

I couldn’t agree more. 518s and 540s of all eras are still earning their keep here in select cut
